I am new in the area and have been looking for a new salon. I saw Rouge and thought it looked like the place for me. I called to make an appointment for a much-needed haircut. The lady laughed and repeated that "I only want a haircut? Someone will call you back." A week has passed and no one ever called. Yes, I "only want a haircut" right now. A haircut leads to a long-time, loyal customer, which Rouge will never have in me.

My hair was hacked up by another stylist at another salon. Ashley fixed it wonderfully. She is a very talented stylist. The salon is very clean, and offers a relaxing atmosphere.

I’m honestly appalled by the service that my friend received from this salon. She scheduled an appointment to have her hair and makeup done for prom, but she politely asked if she could have a trial run before spending $115 there on something that might not be what she wants. The lady, Marisa Rogers, agreed to do a trial run, but failed to mention that the so-called “trial” (which is typically considered an opportunity to try something for FREE) would cost my friend $100 until AFTER she had finished applying the makeup and doing her hair. Not only did she expect the $100, but the makeup was definitely NOT even worth $10. Yet, my friend felt cornered and eventually gave up the $100, despite the fact that she DID NOT deserve it. When my friend relayed this story to me and a few others, it was obvious that she had been conned out of $100 for something that A) should have been free and B) looked like the work of a novice. After we encouraged her to reach out to Marisa and ask for at least half of her money back, she replied that my friend should have assumed the trial would cost money. While it would have been ideal in this situation for my friend to ask if the trial would cost anything, it should not have been expected of her to know to ask since, as I stated before, a trial typically insinuates “free”. Plus, it is the job of the employee to relay any important information (such as prices) to their customers in order to avoid any confusion/problems. Therefore, while my friend may not have been able to obtain a refund, I hope this review may help prevent this from occurring to anyone else in the future. Especially since they’ve handled this particular situation in a less than professional manner.

Marisa is a wizard with color and she does it to perfection. My hair hasn’t looked that good in my entire life as it did the day I left the salon. She can work miracles with mousy dull hair!

I have curly hair that not everyone knows how to style and cut. Love what Ashley has done with my hair. She is great! Colored and highlights; she will do what you request. Highly recommend her.

My picture I showed was completely ignored. I paid for a high quality hair salon and did not get the look or the experience for the price. Had to come back again. Which was more money, to still hate my hair...

Never had my hair destroyed this bad. Asked my stylist before I even scheduled an appointment very nicely if she knew a particular technique, she incredulously said yes as if I didn't even need to ask. I brought a photo from home that was completely ignored. Bad attitude the whole time I was in the chair, made me very uneasy. She was browsing instagram, chatting with people, and leaving me for minutes at a time to hang out and play on facebook with other stylists. By the time she was done with my hair, there was nothing left and it was the exact opposite of what I wanted. She argued with me, trying to barter to keep length where I wanted it, and cut it in places I didn't want to be cut. I left in tears. It's going to take more than a month to feel comfortable walking in public again. I'm at a complete loss for how bad I look, and nobody could have cared less at this establishment. I would not recommend going here unless you were highschool friends with one of the stylists, as those are the only people that will probably get a decent amount of attention.

Rouge is the BEST in Cleveland! You will not find a salon this nice is Chattanooga. So I am happy to drive a little further to get the best service! The salon is so inviting! The ladies did an outstanding job decorating! I have been to Ashley on and off for over 10 yrs. After visiting a few places I am now confident that I will NEVER go to another salon! (Unless it's to follow her!) I am so very please with my new hair! It's amazing what Ashley can do with color! I feel like a new lady. I have received more compliments on my hair this week than ever! Thank you so much! I cannot wait to return!
