I Attended the Moonlight Wellness Spa and Yoga night at the Rose Spa and loved it! The spa was beautiful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and eager to help you with whatever you needed. It was a great night. I’ll be booking another service there soon.

I had a facial and massage. My facial was nothing special. The steamed cloth that was used on my face smelled like poop. My massage was cut short because my masseuse was running late.

The Rose Spa was the ultimate experience! From scheduling our reservation to checking in to the spa to check out, Salisa went above and beyond to make sure we had the best service! We received the most relaxing massage from Susan and the most incredible facial with beautiful technique from Caitlin. We look forward to visiting Nashville and The Rose again, highly recommend.

I just had a wonderful experience that has set the bar for all the rest to come. I am new to the spa life so this was the first of many visits I planned with family. Niki M. greeted us with a smile while she checked us in and answered the few questions we had. Rodricka showed us around and was so helpful with walking us through preparations for out treatment. Blythe L. did our facials and and it was AMAZING. It was the perfect start to our day and set the relaxing tone that we needed. Excellent customer service and such a great facility.

Disappointed in my spa experience today. First up, the robes were very worn, ratty and pilled. Sleeves wouldn’t cuff because of the worn condition and hung well past my hands making it difficult to wear. It was so worn out. This is not something I would even wear in my own home. I looked at changing out the robe, but all of them were in the same ratty condition. The steam room had no controls and was turned up so high It was only tolerable for a couple of seconds. The experience showers only ran cold. There were no toiletries in the experience showers. The attendant told me I could get them out of the regular shower myself. Speaking of the toiletries, they were extremely basic as was everything at the makeup mirrors. In the relaxation room, there were no snacks as was stated on the website. There was room temperature bottled water or plain iced water in a cooler, nice selection of teas but no sweeteners of any kind, no cream, and no saucers for the cups. I had the rose wrap but it is not full body wrap. They only wrap your legs and arms in paper. The esthetician did a great job and the massage was fabulous. There was not much of a rose smell though. I was expecting more of a luxurious aromatic experience. I’m sorry to say this was not the level I was expecting from The Joseph.

I didn’t know what to expect because of the mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised at how great of an experience I had at this spa. I found street parking right in front of the hotel really easily. I had an 80 min massage with Susan and she was wonderful! All the staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean and I enjoyed the steam room after my massage and some tea in the relaxation lounge prior. There’s a good coffee bar downstairs as well. Overall, if you’re looking for a special treat, this is a great spa for that!

I was in town for a wedding and needed somewhere near my hotel to get my nails done. I got a manicure and pedicure with Donna and she was fabulous. She was efficient but did not feel at all rushed. I didn’t even get gel and almost a week later my nails still look great! Would definitely come back the next time I’m in town.

I got the Travelers Relief treatment and it was exactly what I needed. Caitlin was my tech and she was super sweet. She used just the right amount of pressure to get the job done but she was also gentle putting on the mud mask and the initial application of the lotion and scrub. It was a really pleasant duality of deep massage and gentle strokes. I couldn't be happier with my service and my legs and arms are greatly appreciative of the TLC. You sit in a massage chair during it that you can adjust settings on so that made the experience more customizable. Price wise I think its on point for the work that's put into it and variety of materials used. Would definitely recommend that service for travelers in need of a refresh and Caitlin as well!

I had a fantastic pedicure with Donna. She was attentive and had a great personality. I loved the spa so much that I went back a second day for a facial with Blythe. I got the Rose Hydrating facial, and it was fantastic. My skin felt great and she incorporated a neck and shoulder massage. 10/10!!

Extremely disappointing experience. We made 4 appointment for our family months before the scheduled date for 4 massages. However, the day before the appointments, we then got a call confirming our "3" appontments. I explained we had 4 and I was told that I was incorrect because they did not see it in the system. I asked them if we could just make a 4th appointment now (assuming we must have made some error we were not aware of) but they said they had no one else available for a massage so i booked a facial for the 4th person (that no one really wanted) so as not to ruin everyone's time by cancelling everything. We then received a cancellation email for the 4th massage appointment! When i called to complain about this, they said one of their massage therapists quit so the appointment got cancelled. That is complelety different than us not making the actual appointment. I expressed my upset about the whole situation and while they politely listened, they did nothing to accomodate me. There was no apology. There was no attempt to make things right. So basically, the service and management regarding this was poor. And the facilities themselves were quite disappointing. The steam room in the women's locker room kept shutting, there is no sauna, no whirlpool. The power outlets near the dryers were broken. Overall, an extremely mediocre experience.

For its claim to be a luxury spa, it falls quite short. I got a hot stone massage and my girlfriend had a facial. For $240, you’d expect a full body massage. But the hot stones were just on my back. Also, no massaging of any of the limbs. Not even briefly. The tech himself didn’t ask if the pressure was alright, I had to let him know to go harder. The massage technique itself also was lackluster. I kept waiting for it to get better, it really didn’t, and I didn’t feel worked on at all. The facilities as well were completely lackluster- no sauna, no plunge pool, cold steam room (it only has steam but no actual heat). No extra towels laying around, 1 hairdryer only, the pump for lotion didn’t work, the mouth wash pump didn’t work, empty bath gel container in shower, no plastic bags for wet items, room temperature (not hot) water for tea. One or two things can be overlooked, but that many for that price is quite ridiculous. I honestly can’t believe this is a Marriott property. Their lack of adherence to Marriott standards is appalling. My friend also complained about her facial, there was no steaming the face to open up the pores. No extractions, and no communication on the process and what was to be put on her face. It’s you’re an avid fan of massages and spas, this place is not for you. If you’re on a quick trip staying in the hotel, or new to massages, the place is passable, have low expectations.

I had an 80 minute massage with Susan. She gave us me the best massage I have had in years. I suffer tension headaches and my neck and shoulders feel fabulous. I also highly recommended the use of the cbd pain cream in your massage.

Massage was cancelled on us not once but twice, day of the massage. My girlfriend and I love massages but almost never get to indulge ourselves. When we were finally able to take a vacation out in Nashville we decided to go all out and this was our number 1 activity we were looking forward to. Like I said we love massages. Reviews looked great, amenities were rated top notch and everything was perfect. Day of the massage we show up an hour early and reception tells us that the masseuse my girlfriend was going to be working with was pregnant and was unable to work at this time because she needed to go to the HOSPITAL. Yes, day of, hour before the time, no warning call, no notification, just told us after we showed up and after we had walked about 20 minutes from our hotel. Ok, very unfortunate but understandable. Not the receptions fault, definitely not the masseuses fault, things happen. The receptionist offered a calf and foot rub, travelers experience I think It was called, as an alternative but we really wanted our 80 minute full body massage. The hotel didn’t have any openings for the rest of that day but we were able to reschedule for a 50 minute massage for the following day. Unfortunate because the following day was our last day in Nashville, we had a pretty tight timeframe, and it was less massage than we were hoping for. Along with that, we would now have to drag all of our luggage on the 20 minute walk to the hotel because we had to check out of our hotel before the massage. Not ideal but hey we wanted a massage, like I said this was our number 1 anticipated activity on the trip. The hotel let us use the spa the day of and comped us a bottle of Champagne. Nice gesture but I don’t really drink and my girlfriend could only have two glasses. We ended up giving it out to the other guests in the waiting area. The spa facilities were, well frankly disappointing. Basically a steam room and shower. It left me honestly very frustrated and we tried to not let this ruin the day. The following morning we get up at around 9am, start prepping to check out of the room and my girlfriend gets a call. It’s the Rose informing us that the masseuse for my girlfriend is pregnant and will not be able to work today. Yes, they scheduled us with the same masseuse! The same masseuse that couldn’t work the day before because she was in the hospital! We cancelled on the spot and will never be booking or recommending the spa to anyone. We tried to book at other spas for the day of but no one could accommodate us at such short notice. We genuinely hope the masseuse is okay but it was a giant disappointment for our vacation and if the Rose would have at least told us they couldn’t reschedule us we could have rescheduled a massage at a different location. TLDR: Rose Spa cancelled our appointment two days in a row with less than two hours heads up. Rescheduled us with the same masseuse that was sent to the hospital on the first day. We were unable to get a massage during our vacation. Extremely disappointed in the Rose and ruined two days of our vacation. Will not return or recommend the Rose to anyone.

Disappointing. I have received many massages and visited luxury spas, this was sub par. I went for a massage called the Rose Indulgence Experience. I didn’t receive the pre or post rituals as listed on the website. The tea was luke warm. The massage therapist never asked me about the level of pressure. Therefore I received a message that didn’t relieve the muscle tension I went for in the first place. It is BASIC service to ask the client about the level of pressure. This was over priced and I didn’t receive all they claim to provide for the experience. $480 later for a nice shower and the steam room is unfair and not what I expected. I asked for the manager but receptionist said they were unavailable. I deserve a refund. Update the website because it is inaccurate about the services being provided to customers. The only thing nice about this experience was the shower and steam room.

Excellent mani & pedi and an amazing massage. Donna did an impeccable job with my nails, and Susan gave honestly the best massage I’ve had. Everybody was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend a visit to Rose spa.

I had the best time getting my manicure here with Donna! She was great and made the experience worthwhile. The staff is very friendly. The Spa is beautiful and clean- just as the rest of the Hotel it’s located in.

The best urban luxury spa experience! I was so impressed by the facilities (rivaling what you would see in a luxury resort - beautiful relaxation room, sauna, experience showers, beautiful locker room with thoughtful amenities, etc.), the customer service and of course the treatment itself. The staff was very accommodating and made sure our group was well taken care of. I had a body scrub treatment and it was fantastic - so relaxing and my skin was so soft after. I also came with a group of girlfriends and we all felt it was a highlight of our trip. We were staying at the hotel and got to sit by the gorgeous rooftop pool after - definitely a must if you are in Nashville and looking for luxurious relaxation.

The spa itself is gorgeous, beautiful facility with friendly estheticians. However, I had the worst experience with the spa manager who insisted on charging me $150 for a treatment I never got. After reading through other reviews now, this seems to be a consistent issue here. In detail: when I arrived to get my facial, I learned that it's not a regular facial - but rather a chemical peel. Having sensitive skin, I wasn't prepared for a chemical procedure, and asked to either get a different treatment (e.g massage, voucher for future use) or get my money back. The spa manager admitted the website should be much more clear. She said the website should in the future clearly explain this is a chemical procedure and not a regular facial. And despite that, she still said she only has one option and that is to charge me for the treatment. I want to thank the amazing hotel staff that tried talking to the spa staff to get them to reason with us, to no avail. They apologized on their behalf and apologized they weren't able to help in more ways (sounds like these are two different entities). Bottom line - visit this beautiful hotel with the most kind, lovely staff. SKIP THE SPA with the terrible service

WARNING // BEWARE -- THEY CANCELED OUR RESERVATION WITHOUT WARNING, AND THEY DID IT LESS THAN A WEEK BEFORE OUR SERVICE. When I called & made our reservation, they informed me a group event was occuring that day & we may not be able to use the facilities as long as we otherwise would if an event was not taking place. The saleswoman offered to check with her director to ensure we could use the facilities -- and she did -- she called me back a couple days later to confirm we had a reservation & we could use the facilities before/after our reservation. Needless to say, we were very excited & looking forward to our experience. BUT THEN, less than a week before our reservation, I received a call stating our reservation was canceled; the group simply wanted the entire facility...and that was that.
