I had the best experience at Roots Salon today. My stylist, Cassie, was very patient, helpful, and experienced. She listened to what I wanted and gave me the best layered haircut I've ever had. I live in New York, but when I visit again, I'll definitely call to schedule an appointment with Cassie.

This is the first time I had my hair done at roots with Maddy Wright since moving to Treasure Island from Richmond, Va. In addition to being super friendly, she did a phenomenal job with my hair! She did a combination of highlights and low lights and I LOVE IT!!

Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. Mandie is absolutely amazing. I was extremely nervous about getting my hair cut A LOT shorter and she made me feel confident and secure. My hair looks absolutely amazing. I plan on being a repeated customer!!!

BEST HAIRCUT EVER!! I was searching for a master stylist that specialized in short hair and pixie cuts. Over the last few years I experienced substantial hair loss and knew I had to get rid of my blah bob and go short. I researched for over two years to find the perfect hair specialist and finally found Rick. Usually when I do a drastic haircut, I leave having to get used to it but this time I can honestly say this is the best short haircut I’ve ever had (and I’m 53). I will never go back to longer hair. Convenient location. The place is very nice. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. I was fortunate enough to have Otto work his magic! He LISTENED to what I was looking for. It has taken me 3 hair stylists to find my new home since moving to St.Pete! Thank you Otto! See you in about 6 weeks!

Maddy Wright does an amazing job! She is very consistent and takes her time to make sure everything is the way you want it done and it's done right. Maddy did a wonderful job! From virgin hair to balayage, it looks fantastic! My biggest concern was having roots that look bad so I asked if she could transition my natural black hair to brown then blonde. Mission accomplished! She trimmed my ends, curled my hair, and it looked phenomenal! Be sure to ask for Maddy!

My new go to spot!!! First time at this salon, and if you know me, you know I am extremely picky with who does my hair. I booked with Lisa Willaert, and she did the most amazing job on my hair! For reference, I have very thick and long hair, and going into this appointment I hadn’t had my hair done in over a year. Not only was she efficient and put in the perfect blonde, she went the extra mile to make me comfortable AND she’s a wonderful conversationalist. My hair looked even better than what I expected and I am truly wowed by how she transformed my hair! If you book with anybody, book with Lisa!!!

She worked me into her schedule as a new client with insanely short notice, she listened and asked questions to understand exactly what I wanted, and she did an amazing job bringing my grown out color back to life. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to go! Mandy is absolutely amazing, you’ll never leave disappointed! If you have trust issues like me with hair, she is your girl! She truly listens to your hair goals and gives you the look you want to achieve! My mom and sister started seeing her after my first visit because we were blown away with her skill!
