There are many things that I would give up before I gave up my Membership at The Rootbar. I remember where I would spend half my day for my hair appt! Now 2 hours and I have fresh colored hair and a beautiful blowout. Taylor, Carmenia, and Brianna mostly do my hair but everyone there is excellent!

Started going to Root Bar when I moved from Chicago to AZ in 2018 and haven't stopped since. The membership program is beyond worth it and no matter which stylist you get, you will be pleased with your end result!

Taylor did a wonderful job first covering my roots and then conditioning, cutting and finally blowing out my hair. She’s so good at what she does! I highly recommend the Root Bar on 44th and Camelback!

The Rootbar is such a smart concept. Taylor works hard to make sure that my color is perfect, and everybody who works there is friendly and accommodating.. Their prices are very reasonable, and they have frequent specials. If you are on a budget, but want great hair color all the time this is the place for you.

I Love this place, the stylists are very nice and professional and respectful, they know what they are doing and do a great Job, they are committed to being on time and doing their best. The only this is you do have to be there at least 10 minutes early due to limited parking. Other than that I highly recommend this place.

I've been going to Root Bar for about a year now. I always get consistently good results and leave my appointment feeling fabulous. They can sometimes be busy but I like that the stylists help each other. Viviana is fabulous!

This salon rudely canceled my 10:45am appointment when I was 7 minutes late (despite the salon being empty). I called at 10:43 to explain that my daughter had left her passport in LA and I had to get her to the airport but was almost there, driving into the parking lot. I live at the base of Camelback, and a mere 3 minutes from the salon. The lady on the phone was extremely rude, could care less, and lied and said it was 10 min, when it was indeed 7 minutes as I walked while in still on the phone with her, and I confirmed the time on my phone. She knew I was flying to Caribbean later that night and they’d forced me come in for a pointless consultation the day before. There was literally no one else in the salon and it was empty the day before as well. I was frustrated at first, but then relieved. Their salon reeks of stale cigarette smoke, and it is quite potent. You can’t escape it while inside. This should have been the first red flag; a mean spirited admin lady was just the last straw. Looking so forward to when they go out of business and a legit finer salon (one that smells like an actual salon) takes their place. Thankfully my regular salon would never be so awful. I’ll make sure friends know to steer clear in future

Hey this place is THE BEST!!! I get my roots done and a great style for a fraction of the cost at my old salon! Game changer for brunettes who want to keep their hair colored. They have a great process to ensure they get your color correct and save it in their system for your next visit. Stylists are all super sweet. Very comfortable atmosphere. They even have roll out desks at each station so you can be on your laptop while getting your hair done! My girlfriends are flipping out over this concept!!! Great job Root Bar!!

I was doing my nails next door on a Sunday, checked for an open salon and found Root Bar. I was fortunate enough to pick up someone’s cancellation and book a root to end service. The process is easy and convenient. Margarita is great and experienced with dark hair. My color turned out vibrant and I will definitely be coming back.

I went to the Rootbar on Sunday because I read so many great reviewers about this place. I’m shocked and confused on how it has such great reviews…. I received the WORST blowout I’ve ever. Thankfully I got ahold very quickly with the owner and she offered me a complimentary blowout or style with another stylist. That experience was much different and went great! I guess it depends on who you get but the owner was very nice.

Root Bar has made my graying life so much easier! They use a "speed up" process that only takes about a half hour. I always hated for what seemed like forever to get rid of my gray roots. I also love how one can get a mini as opposed to all over color, which I only need once a year. If you want quality service at an affordable price, go to Root Bar.

This is the first time I have been to a place like this. Viviana the person who colored my hair and she was very nice. Initially I had booked this appointment online and scheduled a coloring and blow out when we got done with my coloring she said that she didn't have enough time to do the blowout because she had another client. I said okay that's fine and went to check out and had to tell the cashier that they did not do a blowout to please take it off she then mentioned that there is an additional add-on all I said was it wasn't on the site where I booked my appointment and said nothing about an add-on. I wasn't being loud or rude I wasn't upset but for some reason this lady comes out from the back immediately she's aggressive rude and condescending I mentioned to her that she is being aggressive and rude and please walk away from me I was not comfortable she didn't she kept talking when she finally did leave I just told the cashier to charge me whatever she thinks I owe so I can get out of there. I quit smoking 2 weeks ago when I walked out of there I lit up a cigarette it was very stressful and made me very upset. Can't believe I paid $150 for someone to treat me that way.
