I absolutely love Renew Skin Bar. Before the pandemic I went a couple times to start a regimen. I just started going back this week. I don’t have any major skin problems, just some hyperpigmentation and dry skin issues. Each time it’s pleasant and amazing. Dreneigh is professional, experienced and sweet. She makes sure you’re comfortable and aware of what she’s doing and why. I definitely recognize a difference when I’m consistently going. Plus she’s black owned, which I believe is important to have someone who’s familiar with my skin helping me on my heathy skin journey. All in all, she’s definitely considered “my esthetician” now lol

My face has been breaking out recently and I wanted to seek someone who knew about women of color skin and so when I did a search, many people from Gainesville recommended this place! When I tell you I was floored by the professionalism and the way she educated me on products for my skin and what I need to do to address my skin concerns, I was like wow! Dreneigh is AMAZING! The place was so serene and I've had a facial before but never like this! The bed was warm which felt so good and the music just had me zoned out. She also has a loyalty program and I loved that she took her time from start to finish. I definitely can say I felt super RENEWED when she finished! I have already booked her for future appts!

Professional, knowledgeable, comfy and clean space! I was so glad she had an opening at the last minute! Her studio is gorgeous, comfortable, and clean. I love that she offered an alternative service to the one that I booked, ONLY because my skin currently had a few breakouts which were not suitable for the service I booked. The results of the alternative service she recommended was a true 15/10! We discussed my skin concerns and skin goals. I appreciate professionals that are passionate about their craft, she is, and it shows. My skin needed her knowledge and skills!

The best testament my preteen had for her experience was how good her skin felt all day after her treatment. The best testament for me is the lessons she learned and how I have not had to remind her to care for her skin - at all. She has been diligently using products and technique from Renew. When she hopped in the car, on the way to school, a week later, she was bragging on herself about how good her skin looked and felt. I'm happy to recommend the services here.

The place is alright.. She does what she can within what she is comfortable and within limits. Price is reasonable. As a provider, she did not do what I wanted her to do and try to extract some acne I knew was going to scar if left alone. Now I have dark spots that the blood pooled into and disappointed in the lack of concern for the harder blemishes that a provider should help with. She also were shutting down my questions that are related to self-care on acne and being able to self-extract should there be an emergency and I wouldn't have the time to go in there. Little bit of a gossip too and she took pictures and videos of me prior to letting me know or getting my consent. It was already too late when she took the videos and I asked why she took it and it was very sus, I was somewhat uncomfortable with it and would have said no if she asked prior to recording it. Another thing was the dermarolling, she said on the first one she'll go deeper on the skin next time, but did the same amount and I did not see any improvements on my skin in that sense with my craters. It was a discrepancy about her saying bleeding doesn't correlate with the dermarolling, yet she did not go deeper for the roll due to bleeding, which wasn't a lot to begin with. For that 2nd derma roll appointment when I showed up, I was not even scheduled in even though we discussed in the 1st session when I would go back. However, overall she is a good conversationalist and liked talking to her about most things outside of the questions I had for her and the acne self-care related topics. Again the pricing is budget-friendly. If you want a quick and less in-depth client-provider relationship this would be the place!

Where can I start...when I arrived at the Skin Bar Dreneigh was very welcoming and polite. The business was very clean and cozy. I complimented her how I loved the color scheme because in my opinion details speak a lot about your service. As we made our way to the service area, she was very professional making feel very comfortable. The service I received was a Microdermabrasion. She analyzed my skin and suggested that the service I requested was right for me. I also suggested another service that I also wanted. Dreneigh advised me that getting both at the same time will cause damage to my skin. She gave me her expert opinion and I really respected her because she cared more about my skin than receiving extra money. Also, she patiently answered any questions I had. It was nice that she kept the conversations to a minimum to ensure that I received a relaxing experience and only spoke when I asked her a question. Needless to say, I had a wonderful experience at Renew Transformative Skin Bar! Without a doubt she is officially my new esthetician. I'm anticipating my next upcoming appointment.

Dreneigh is an experienced aesthetician, and she is meticulous with her work! First time I came I was immediately pleased with the calm and welcoming atmosphere. I went to get a facial and consult for which type of treatment will be best for my acne problem, and Dreneigh gave me helpful information and advice on how to reduce my acne (p.s: I've already seen some improvements). Overall, I would totally recommend this place, and I already reserve my next appointment!

Not only does she know her stuff, she also was so welcoming and kind.The space was very clean, and the whole experience was very relaxing and calming.
