I’ve been seeing Jamie for well over a year and she has been nothing but super awesome, welcoming and sweet! She’s always made me feel comfortable from the first time I met her. I’d totally recommend seeing Jamie for any service she offers :)

I've had more than one really good experience here with Jamie. It is a very welcoming space from the moment you walk in, with a greeting from her sweet, little dog. It is generally pretty quiet in there, and you never really have much of a wait for your appointment time. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Jamie helps to make you feel comfortable and informed if you have never had a service before, or if you are new here. She is quick and efficient, but does a good job. She is also really good with telling you about aftercare, and tips/tricks, offering you products that she has for sale there to continue your aftercare at home. There are specials, too, if you pay attention to those.

I was so excited to see this place open! Jamie is the #1 best for experience, professionalism, and feeling comfortable. I especially prefer sugar to wax and she’s a pro. Brazilian, underarms and legs - I need someone I can fully trust. That’s Jamie.

Molly made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed during the treatment. I typically go for hot stone massages but the 90 minute warm bamboo massage exceeded any expectations I had prior to coming in today. This was hands down the best massage experience I’ve ever had. I left feeling like a whole new person and can’t wait for my next appointment!!

This place is amazing!! Everybody that works there is an expert in their field. All super friendly and so easy to talk to. Sugaring, skin care, micro blading, etc. don’t go anywhere else for your needs. I absolutely love going there. The best employee by far though is the Boston terrier Olivia ♥️

Had a facial with Ashley and it was amazing! She made me feel so relaxed, and was super easy to talk to. She even sent me home with some samples! Ten out of ten, would recommend to a friend!

I received a 60 minute custom facial by Ashley and it was just lovely ❤️🌹🍒 🎲 I especially enjoyed the added experience of the chilled ice globes, as well as the Hale and Hush products used to make my skin baby soft and supple. She was patient and talked me through all of Refinery’s retail spf options afterwards and let me have some samples to take home and see which one I liked best! She really cares about delivering consistent, optimal results, while still protecting and keeping your skin’s best interests at heart. I highly recommend seeing her for all of your skincare needs! She is a beautiful person through and through :)

If you’re not going to Refinery, you’re doing it wrong!! I’ve been a client for about 9 months now and look forward to my appointments every time. Jamie is so professional and kind and a joy to talk to, and she really makes the whole experience as comfortable as possible. The shop is super clean and cutely decorated and just makes you feel at home. I’m excited to book even more services in the future! Refinery is the place to go!

She did a phenomenal job at creating a safe space for everyone seeking (non-hair salon) beauty services. Jamie and her staff provide top notch education to beauty professionals and services to all. I had an amazing 90 minute deep tissue massage with Kristen Lofquist! This might be the best massage I’ve ever had! Kristen was very professional and a great communicator when it came to finding the best approach to provide my body with exactly what it needed. She found all of my trouble spots and did an excellent job releasing my muscles and improving my neck and shoulder mobility. She is extremely knowledgeable and offers a very customized technique. I had a great experience today with Amy. She gave me a Brazilian (my first), and even though it stung a little, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I had thought, and the staff was so welcoming and professional, it made me feel very comfortable. The results look and feel amazing and I’m definitely coming back!

I have been going to Kristen for massage for a while now. She really “listens” to your body, finds what needs work, and gives you suggestions to continue loosening/strengthening at home. I’ve had a lot of hip issues and she has helped immensely!

Communication and instruction was clear, the greeter was so cute and full of love at the door, she loves scritches, and the experience pleasant, all things considered since I got a brazillian lol. Kristen has done therapeutic massage for me many times and I have always found it healing and beneficial. Her training and experience enable her to determine trouble areas on the body and determine the best technique to help relieve stiffness and pain. I always have greater mobility and range of movement after Kristen works on me. I highly recommend Kristen for therapeutic massage.

While the location can be difficult to find if you're using your GPS (don't bother, it's the parking lot directly behind Cousins Chicken!), this little gem is definitely worth your visit! Jamie and Carmen (Flossy Brows) have a fastidiously clean and adorable esthetics boutique with service that helps you feel at home. They both are so warm and down to earth that you can't feel nervous! I went to Carmen to have my eyebrows microbladed and she talks you through each step of the process. She is dedicated to ensuring your brows come out absolutely perfect. I wouldn't go to anyone else in Grand Rapids for microblading!
