GOOD HAIR, TOTALLY NOT RELIABLE. I hired Raymonda for my wedding - for me and few family members’ hair and to stay until after the ceremony for touch ups and a second hair do - until about 6:30pm. She had a bad attitude from the moment she walked in my door in the morning (late) . She used our microwave and put a METAL TIN inside. thankfully I saw it bc she almost burned down our house that way, thankfully she didn’t, just broke our microwave… She complains i lied about the number of people… that was incorrect - I had texts to prove. Claims she then got sick at the venue and needed to go to see her doctors (on a Sunday). Packs up at 1pm with all of her tools and leave. Completely disappears!!!! She was supposed to be there until 6:30pm…. Text her, nothing…. Then shows up at 5:30 as I’m about to walk down the aisle (totally inappropriate ). Not sure if sickness was a lie, but behind my back had told someone I know, a wedding guest, that she would come over at 1pm to do their hair…. When she was supposed to be with me. I reached out after the wedding for a partial refund bc she was there 1/2 the time. She claims we had no right to dictate what she does - false considering we booked her for the day. Was super nasty to my mom. 1 star bc my hair did look fine.

Ray does an amazing job her magic hands are amazing I feel so comfortable and confident when im in her hands, she is the most sweet person makes you feel so special and welcoming, never will look for any other hair stylist she just knows what i like. Keep up the great work Ray xoxo 💋 ❤️

Raymonda is the QUEEN of hair and beach waves! I only trust Raymonda with my hair. I have personally know Raymonda for over 10 years and she treats me with such kindness, love, and happiness every time I sit in her chair. She always takes her time with my hair, and it is long so it normally takes longer than 30 minutes. She has never rushed me out of her chair (yes some other stylists do that) and has always treated my hair to the utmost quality. Thank you so much Raymonda! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And she just opened up a gorgeous new salon of her own in great neck! Definitely a must see!!! I will be going to Raymonda for my hair for many years to come. On top of it all, she has done house calls me multiple times and even on short notice and is truly amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Raymonda is the most talented hairdresser in the Great Neck area. I have made sure over the years that she is free to take care of us for our important family events before I even book other vendors!! She goes above and beyond to accommodate all even in the biggest snow day of the year at 7am!! She has these gold hands that others don’t have and Raymonda is a true gem.
