It's difficult for me to relay to anyone what I want but Christine is talented at both cutting hair and coloring and she can literally get a sense of the idea you've got in mind. I showed her just a few pictures on the fly and the amazing result was my crown for the next few weeks! I loved it and obviously I went back again :) Thank you ~Christine~

I’m so glad I went to R Salon. My hair needed major attention and change. From the moment I called to make a same day appointment to the time I left, everything was great. First, I called at 10am and the nice receptionist was able to squeeze me in for 12:30 for 3 different services. My stylist, colorist was WILLIAM! and I feel blessed to have had him do my hair. He listened to exactly what I wanted and he delivered above and beyond my expectation. He is a professional and he knows his stuff. Overall, Everyone was so caring and nice and just good people. I already made my next appointment with them and I’m excited 😊

R salon is welcoming and stylish salon. Connie is always exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. She greets with a warm smile and ensures my appointment is scheduled seamlessly. She helps keep the salon impeccably clean and well organized. Joe, my hairdresser always takes the time to listen to my ideas and offers thoughtful suggestions that align with what I am envisioning. My color has been done here a few times now. The shop is clean and in a great location. Each time, I'm very happy with the out come. Tommy is chef’s kiss for color. He knowledgeable about what products to use, an how long to use them. Color is a real science when done wrong it can be devastating for your hair and your mental health having to deal with that every day. I am truly thankful for the work that Tommy and his crew does for me. I highly recommend them all here at the r salon.

The salon was recommended on a local FB group and I was so happy it was. I got a great curly hair cut, hair advice, and diffused blow out to help my curls show. They offer coffee as well which is a nice touch. The price was surprisingly good considering the quality of the services, long hair, and location. Definitely recommend!

I have been going to this salon for over 7 years and I love it. The staff is great, always friendly and attentive and my hair dresser William is the best! So I’ve had a previous balayage done at another salon and was not happy with how it looked like 2 months after. I came to William, and he fixed my color and cut so well.The result came out so uniform and even better than I expected. Overall, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The salon itself is clean and aesthetically pleasing to be in.

EDITED: R Salon generously reached out after my initial negative experience and had me come in again for a complimentary blowout with a different stylist, Farrah, who did a beautiful job. I would (and am going to) happily return now. I also really want to praise them on how professionally and respectfully they handled the situation - they truly made me feel so valued and taken care of which is so appreciated and definitely the kind of service that makes me want to return. Booked here last minute for a blowout for a practice shoot w my wedding photographer bc I was low on time and just wanted to ensure my hair would look great without having to worry about doing it myself. I usually go into the city for my cuts and color but I figured a blowout was simple enough and any good stylist should be able to do it. Everything seemed to be going really well until the stylist started curling. I had shown a picture FROM THE SALON’s pictures on google and it was part of why I chose to go there bc I assumed they’d be capable of doing the same thing, but I guess there is a big discrepancy between stylists there. The blowout itself was fine but then she absolutely destroyed it with horrible tight curls that left me looking ridiculous. It’s the worst when you pay for something wanting it to be special and nice and then end up with something significantly worse than what you could have done yourself. She also used waaaaaay too much product so that the curls had no chance of falling and loosening up by the time I had my shoot. Picture added of what I ended up with (even after trying to loosen the curls up hours later) vs. what I had shown/asked for. (Mine is the front view, pic I showed is the back view). I honestly can’t believe an experienced stylist let me leave looking like that knowing what I asked for. Awful.

I booked a haircut with Christine and the results was stunning. I showed her pictures and she followed exactly what we talked about. She was constantly putting her hands through my hair and cut where needed. I have a short bob that needed a shape up and she did a beautiful job. Will be returning.

I was looking for a new hair stylist that could get as me as light as possible. In the past nobody has fulfilled my exact wants. I was recommended R salon by a friend and I will say I am more than happy with my hair and will be going back! I called and they were able to fit me in the next day which is extremely impressive and rare! My stylists name was Christine and she was wonderful. When I showed her my inspiration picture, she told me her thoughts and asked me to trust her so I did. She was extremely sweet and did the most amazing job on my hair! I was very iffy about accepting a new stylist but I am so grateful for R salon and especially Christine!!👏🏼

If you’re looking for a perfect haircut and blowout ask for Inalvis. She takes her time to put love into every strand of hair! measuring each side perfectly it’s satisfying to watch. I always walk out feeling my absolute best. For a super busy salon no one is in each other’s way and clients are flowing in and out comfortably. The staff is on point even when I have to book an appointment the day of Connie will always call me back with options for me. I never get forgotten about here Salon is modern and beautiful and you’ll feel like family. Even the coffee is better than the Dunkin donuts next door so you don’t even have to make a stop!

Today was my first time at this Salon and I must say the staff was phenomenal. I was a little nervous about trying a new place, but Connie made me feel at ease. She was very welcoming. Tommy, the owner, ended up cutting my hair. He listened to all of my requests and did a great job on my hair. Everyone was very attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

I’m not one to often leave reviews, simply, because that’s just not me. However, in this case, I absolutely have to leave a review. I’ve been getting my haircut here for the last two years and I’ve got to say two years in, I’ve been incredibly happy and incredibly pleased With this salon. Tommy who is my hairstylist has definitely got to be one of the best stylist in all of the tri-state area if not The US. Connie who always runs the front desk, is always amazing and pleasant to deal with. I generally am very picky with who does my hair and I gotta say I think I found the best of the best.

William is an amazing stylist! Color, cut, and blow out is a 10/10. He listens to what I want and always delivers a beautiful result.
