I had been experiencing pain in my pyriformis muscle for almost a week and was quite limited by it. I hoped a massage might help. I was able to book Jafar Nicholson for the following day and so glad I did. He was very professional, and I felt safe with him at all times ( being a woman, I generally prefer female practitioners) which is huge. He explained what he was doing but wasn’t chatty which I also appreciated . After a 55 minute session I was 96% improved and one day later am at 99%. I don’t generally write reviews but this guy was amazing and I am now walking and exercising without limitation, So grateful.!!!!

I might still be "massage drunk" while I type this, but my 80 min Swedish Relaxation Massage with Jafar was one of the best, most relaxing massages I've ever had. I can't wait to go back - it will certainly be sooner than later.

IF YOU ARE A MAN WITH LONG HAIR, RUN. I saw the atrocities committed by the other barbers to men with long hair, so I scheduled with Leah. She didn't have a portfolio but claimed to have longer/layered hair as a specialty. My wife and I tried to explain that my hair was getting unruly and needed to be shaped up a little bit, but I liked the volume and curl. She seemed nice and that she understood, but midway through the haircut, I looked up and realized she left almost no hair. It was past the point of no return, and there's no magic instant hair regrowth serum that I'm aware of, so I didn't say anything while I was there. I will give her the benefit of the doubt, perhaps I should have been very explicit and said to just take 2 inches off, but it truly seemed like we were on the same page. If you want a short uncomplicated cut or fade, this is definitely the place for you, but it was certainly not for me.

Truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Jerome is amazing - he was very communicative and walked me through how the session would go (I really appreciated this). I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I’d highly recommended booking a massage!

I am a total believer in patronizing small, independent businesses. When time and opportunity present themselves, I choose this one — though usually for an experience at the neighboring Speakeasy (stellar every time), which has the same owners. My niece gave me a gift certificate for the spa, so I was motivated to try a deep tissue massage. It hurts to say, but I was disappointed. The roster of options appeared to have only one woman, so that is who I booked my appointment with. She was kind, but didn’t quite live up to the level of professionalism I expected. Mostly, it seemed as though she was working from intuition rather than skill. I have to wonder whether she might still be a student, learning her craft? There is a balance on my gift certificate, so I will try Quintana’s again, and hopefully I can leave a sterling review the next time around. I really want them to be one of my “go to’s.”

I have been coming to Quintana’s for over 20 years and wont go anywhere else! Alex and his team take great care of everyone that come in the door. This is the type of place that you don't mind coming in 30 min early for a haircut because you enjoy the atmosphere. You also don't mind staying after and having a drink in the speakeasy. If you're looking for a barber, look no further - this is the place for you.

Chariah is simply The. Best. When you spend on a luxury item, you want to have a luxury experience. Her attention to detail is amazing. She listens to what you want, makes creative and elegant suggestions when you’re not sure sure, and even creates custom color palettes for special occasion nails. She is my go to, and I highly recommend booking a service with her. You will be glad you did. She is warm and funny and fun and ever so talented.

I cannot recommend Jerome enough. I enjoyed a fabulous massage. He was thoughtful in working through my trouble areas in a way that was super helpful, but not to the extent that I couldn’t also enjoy the experience. Super hard balance to achieve in my book. Thank you!

I go to Quintana's for my pedicures. Samantha is awesome ! I have a special little toe that she knows how to handle. My pedicures last for weeks even after my weekly foot soaks.

If you haven’t had a deep tissue massage with Jafar, you haven’t had a deep tissue massage. How he could find every knot I’ll never understand. Jafar made me feel so relaxed and ready to go home, pour a glass of rye, and relax before bed. I really look forward to feeling the benefits over the next few days and wonder how my next workout will feel! Give Jafar a call whether it’s for deep tissue or a lighter massage!
