I fell in love with Shannon through her Instagram and decided to book. Here’s my experience- Before the first appointment - her online scheduling system is clear and easy to navigate, she communicates clear pre-treatment prep instructions, she sends a text message day of the first appointment with directions and instructions on how to find her suite within the building. At the appointment- Shannon makes sure you are comfortable and that the products she is using are good for your needs. She has a warm and loving personality with a brilliant sense of humor. Every return visit Shannon shows the same professionalism, kindness, punctuality, and quality of service. Such a gem, and so glad I found her!

I got my eyebrows and lip waxed here with Shannon and I loved it. This was my first professional waxing experience and it was quick and easy. The waxing didn't hurt and she gave me tips on how to get where I want with my eyebrows. Shannon is very down to earth which I love. I will definitely be a regular and would recommend.

I've been going to Shannon for over a year and a half and I love her! She's professional and I am always comfortable at every appointment. I had my first Brazilian wax ever with her and she made the experience easy and as painless as possible. I go every month now for my Brazilian, underarms & eyebrows and always look forward to my appointment and leave happy. I used to not believe that having a specific waxer was a big deal. However, after a few terrible waxes I came in contact with Shannon and my world was changed!!! This lady is amazing, knowledgeable, and caring. Prune wax studio is a clean and spunky little space. If your looking for a new waxer Shannon is your gal, and Prune wax studio is the place to go.

My girl Shannon is the *Queen* of Waxing If you currently go elsewhere for your waxing needs: stop going there and book an appointment here immediately. Trust me on this one. She's efficient, but doesn't rush, and gets every. single. hair. (For real. All of them). If you're a waxing newbie and you're unsure: book right now because once she's turned you into a hairless masterpiece your life will be forever changed and there is no going back. Talk about a confidence boost. In all seriousness, she is extremely professional, reliable, and is so invested in making sure everyone has a comfortable experience. Her studio is spotless and her music selection is always on point. Shannon did my first Brazilian wax and it was a great experience. She walked me through everything, explaining the process and helpful tips. She is super pleasant to talk to as she works, making the time fly by and taking your mind off of the wax. Additionally, her space is clean and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend Shannon to anyone and look forward to more services with her.

Shannon was awesome! I was super nervous to have a Brazilian after hearing from a few that it wasn't a good experience. It was nothing like I thought it was going to be and Shannon knew exactly what she was doing and talking about! She made my experience comfortable, easy and quick! If you've never had one before and you're on the fence I definitely recommend Shannon!

The best wax experience ever! Shannon was so personable, funny, professional and her her waxing room is adorable! She made a somewhat uncomfortable experience so easy and took her time (definitely not a speed waxer) and she did a fantastic job! I already have my next appointment scheduled with her. Also, I drove almost an hour and will continue to do so because she was that good :)

Shannon is AMAZING! Actually, whatever is beyond amazing is what Shannon is! I was going to a large waxing chain for my waxing needs, but never felt like I was getting the service I was paying for. Normally when you go in for services it’s awkward, but not at Prune Wax Studio! Shannon makes you feel comfortable. She’s down to earth and makes you feel at home. Great personality and superb service. She is also an excellent resource for how to keep your skin healthy. If you have never been to see Shannon then you need to pick up the phone and schedule an appointment now. I promise you will not regret it. You will wonder 🤔 why you waited so long to see her!

I highly recommend this place. The person who runs it is professional, helpful (her after-care pointers are a life saver) and actually a very fun person to talk to. I feel like a person who does this needs to make people feel comfortable, and she does! The smooth results speak for themselves, and she got herself a regular after my first visit.

I've been getting waxed by Shannon for a few years now, I love to see that she's branched out to her own studio space. Her space is cute and super clean. I'm always impressed by the quality of her work, how quickly she can get my waxing done, and she’s always so kind to remember details about our chats from prior appointments! Even if you're not in East Mesa, her quality work is worth the drive.

Shannon at Prune Wax Studio is so amazing at her job! She is gentle and efficient, never leaving an unwanted hair or wax behind. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my waxing needs. I have very sensitive skin that prevents me from shaving so I have turned to Prune Wax Studio to maintain my skins appearance. She keeps her studio very clean and sanitized and I feel more comfortable with her than I have with any other waxer I’ve been too. Shannon is one small business you should absolutely support as she will leave you feeling smooth and confident every time you see her!

Shannon is AMAZING, 10/10. I get my Brazilian, lips, and eyebrows waxed and tinted with her! She makes the process as pain free as can be while maintaining great conversations that makes time fly by and keeps me laughing. It honestly feels like I'm catching up with a life long friend every visit 💖 She will make sure you get the results you are looking for, especially with eyebrow shaping. Her studio is incredibly clean and well-maintained. I definitely feel comfortable coming here. I make the 35 minute drive every month because she is more than worth it!! You will not be disappointed!

Shannon's studio is super cute and clean and she is an excellent waxer! She's very professional and efficient and provides clear instructions for before and after care. I felt safe, comfortable, and well-cared for throughout my services with her. The actual salon suites area are also super cute and clean, with a number of stylists and nail techs with bright, sunny, well-decorated suites, but Prune is in an inner suite without windows for privacy (nevertheless, it's very cute and well-lit inside).

I was originally a client of Shannon’s at another establishment, and was so happy I found her at her own shop! Her suite is immaculately clean, and super cute and bright. Shannon’s work as a waxer is not only the same high level of quality as before, (its been a while, I mean, 2020), but I like the new wax she uses now so much better. The same services I got before were so much faster this time! And (I kid you not) the hair is growing back wayyyy finer. I have NEVER had that happen anywhere else. Five stars for real- great job with the new shop!

This is gonna be long but worth it!! Shannon has waxed me for over a year & I can promise she’s using the best product & giving the best wax!
