I haven't been here since the early 2000s, but when I did go I got two wooden brushes. I STILL have them. They were good quality. Back then, it definitely felt overstocked. I'm surprised to see this place is still around, but we should be supporting small businesses.

Hands down the best place to buy any beauty product. A lot of really cute hair accessories too. They have it all and are very knowledgeable. Love supporting this sweet family business. Plus if you are lucky you can say hi to their adorable little helper puppy.

Obsessed with this store. It's one of the only locations that carries Adore hair color and they have EVERY COLOR EVER. Another store in Oxnard carries the brand but they have less than half the selection this store has. So happy to support a local business

Rudest shop Owner ever!!!! Two minutes after I walked in and looked at the bright hair colors. I didn’t see the one I was looking for. As I walked out she yelled at me to come in or she will call the cops - ???!! She demanded to look into my bag. I almost told her to just call the cops. She’d look ridiculous - but I didn’t want to be in that shop another second. I had lost my mom the day before and I looked like hell probably but wanted to get out of the house .. ugh. I decided to open my purse , tell Her how rude she was and I was going home to make my family dinner and one of us or our friends would ever step foot in her business again. Rude rude rude

Huge variety of professional hair products, beauty supply, and grooming tools. They have everything and we'll stocked. Also have a hair salon in the back, by appointment only. The owners are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable as well as their employees. There shop also offers you a blue discount card, at no cost to you just for signing up, and can be used every time you buy something. Located in between The GoodWill and Rite Aid in the Vons shopping center on Thompson.

This has been my most favorite Beauty Supply store ever! They have just about anything you may need for at-home services and even professional supplies. It’s practically a One-Stop shop! They even give a discount for makeup artist and a bigger discount for estheticians and cosmetologist. They are kind and very helpful: Even after moving to Santa Barbara, I still drive down to Pro Beauty for my supplies!

I have been a customer of Pro Beauty of Ventura for several years and have always been pleased with their inventory. I prefer using a much finer developer and prefer to use Schwartzkopf developer which is extremely hard to find in Ventura. I mix my colors so I need the developer as I buy my colors seperately. I do not buy "Box" dyes from the grocery as they contain too harsh of developer and the color on the box does not match what goes onto your hair. The proprietors are helpful and very knowlegible so you needn't worry if you have any questions. I fully recommend Pro Beauty for all your beauty products!
