I went here for a quick weave style. The window says they do quickweaves and they can’t. It looked horrible hair wasn’t blending. And, I had to go back for a fix up still the same result. DO NOT GO HERE! The owner is money hungry, she wouldn’t give me my money back.

Went here to get my dreads retested for graduation. The retwist was pretty solid and quick although it hurt a little and was a little expensive.

This was my first time getting braids. Linda suggested getting the knotless braids for my hair type and workout activities. I have received so many compliments from my family and coworkers on how well the braids look. I am very pleased with the awesome braiding skills at Praise African Braiding.

I am happy with my finished results. I got medium box braids. The ladies in the shop are nice and the shop is clean. I like that I went about 10:30 and they were able to take me right away and I was done by 3:30. I would suggest knowing exactly what you want size, length etc. My only feedback is that I got the sense that they did not want to do longer length braids and maybe it would be extra which is ok I didn’t make it a big deal but I feel it’s better to try and accommodate your customer needs even if you have to charge more for the service. I am not sure about others styles but I would recommend Praise for box braids. I will be back in a couple of months!

I have been getting my hair done here for some time now and all I can say is they are the best, Linda usually does my hair but all of them are great. Always professional, making sure that I’m doing good and at the end of the day I always walk out satisfied with the results. I’ve sent my daughter here and Al thought she doesn’t live nearby she will travel just to continue business with them. Highly recommend getting hair done here.

I am very particular about my hair and they are the only one I trust with braiding our hair. PLEASE DO NOT waste your money here!!! Their work is horrible, they rushed on my hair and now I’m very disappointed because I spent $180 for some box braids that looks like I could’ve done it myself, they complained about my hair being too short to grip on certain areas but that was ONLY a lie and an excuse to rush and get me out of the door because I’ve gone to plenty other places and I’ve never had those complaints about my hair so in that case I am not pleased nor satisfied with the way my braids turned out, the inside of the shop was hot and stuffy and it definitely need some work so yeah I had a horrible experience wit this place and I DO NOT recommend them to ANYONE $180 GONE down the drain SMH never again

Thank you for a great experience !!! I had made an appointment at 4p and arrived later because of an emergency at my job. To my surprise even after being late I was welcomed with a smile and the ladies were ready to get started. I was so undecided on my style as I wanted a mohawk but I needed it to last for several out of town trips. THe owner suggested individuals instead and here it is 3 weeks later and the braids still look awesome !! The ladies were very nice and I appreciated them holding a conversation with me and not just amongst themselves. I will definitely return !!!

First the young ladies were very professional and prompt. I was greeted when I entered the shop and during my hair transformation I couldn't help feel as if I was in my home with my family. My braider was very professional and took care of my hair with nothing but love. Please come visit these ladies make sure you make your appointment .....oh by the way they also take walk ins. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and the finished results of my hair. Let me just say, having been a consistent client, I’m shocked this happened. Always received good service and results. However, on this particular day I asked for medium, individuals & quoted $180. Upon arriving I called the owner to ask about the preferred payment method as it changes between Zelle, cash app and cash. Seeing as I was running behind, I declined to stop at the atm and asked what other option I had and Linda confirmed I could pay Zelle Little did I know, my braids would turn out looking like they scraped together some hair when I have a full head of hair. In other words, the braids were not full. In fact, they used two people on my head, just for it to come out with over sized boxes. The braids are neat, but it’s definitely lacking for this to be individuals. I should have let them take it out and gone somewhere else. When it was time to pay, I chose Zelle as a Linda announced in front of 2 other cx that she has been experiencing fraud with Cashapp; cool, baby here’s the ZELLE with a no fee deposit right into the account. Instead of it sending directly, I received an immediate email saying the payment was on hold for review and to call the cx service number for verification. As this was happening in real time, I politely informed Linda and got on the phone immediately w/cx service to get the payment quickly authorized as the funds were immediately taken from my account from checking the banking app. As I explained, Linda rudely told me I should go get cash and that it’s not her fault this situation surfaced & that I knew how I could pay. Although she is correct it was not her fault, I CLEARLY COMMUNICATED with her prior to service and during my call to cx service. This was not a situation I caused nor caused suspicion of fraud as the braided was clearly over my shoulder watching the entire process. She treated me like I was trying to skip out for free to get the below par braids they braided. I don’t recommend going here as they have lost a loyal cx(2) and anyone else I would have brought. I’ll be GD if I spend money again that I barely have to be treated the way I was; being told the police would be called if she didn’t receive payment as of the payment wasn’t in actual progress due to the instructions in the email Payment was received within an hour of the hold occurring. From the reviews it seems like this might be an emerging trend of ppl not getting FULL results on their hair

I have finally found my braiding salon! The vibe is so relaxing and Ms. Linda and her staff definitely hooked up my hair. I have gotten so many compliments on my braids. So, if you’re in the area, or even if you have to drive a distance like I did, you will not be disappointed.

I took my daughter here for the first time today. My daughter is very tender-headed and she is only 10 years old. When Ms. Linda began, my daughter immediately began to tell me that she is so happy because the process was not painful. She also continued to tell me how nice Ms. Linda is (very true!). Ms. Linda continuously talked with my daughter to make sure she was comfortable. Ms. Linda completed my daughter's hair very quickly, and her work is BEAUTIFUL! The entire experience was wonderful and my daughter is so happy! The overall atmosphere of the shop is clean, professional, and friendly. Her price for the work was more than fair. I am so pleased with our overall experience today and I cannot wait to return!

After visiting 3 different salons trying to find a consistent near braider I finally found a place I literally call home! Ms. Linda and her team does exceptional work. They’re very consistent, professional, and compassionate when it comes to their clients. It’s going on 4 years since I’ve been getting my hair braided here and it’s the most peaceful experience each time. They get you in and out and I’m SATISFIED each time. I relocated to Georgia from NY and I was extremely nervous that no one would be able to do my hair as well as in NY. After speaking to Linda, I felt so comfortable and reassured that she knew how to handle different types of hair, my hair was short and thin. I have been going to her faithfully since last year and my hair has grown considerably since the first time I sat in her chair. I was referred to Praise African Hair Braiding by my friend Toni. I booked an appointment for spring twists and tribal braids for my granddaughter. Linda is professional, the salon is extremely clean from the front door to the back. Linda listen to what style you desire and gives you the honest truth on what style would be best for your hair.
