Technician was pleasant but rushed through the pedicure with a lack luster result. Owner was abrupt about asking for a tip even before paying making the checkout process awkward.

Had a gel fill yesterday asked him to trim them down.He cut them so short!! Plus he was very rough squeezing my fingers till I flinched ,I told him it hurt.Did my nails like it was a race kept looking around. He was going so fast with the dremel and file .I'm not sure what was wrong with him but not going back. Usually a hot cloth at the end but it wasnt Paid 75 to have my hands,fingers squeezed and I have arthritis.

If I could leave less than one star I would but I can’t. My 13 year old sister went in to get her nails done and they charged her 75 dollars for a basic manicure. She was paying part in cash and part card and they tried to charge her double on the card- while also saying they weren’t taking card. They were absolutely taking advantage of her being a kid to get more money out of her, what was she supposed to do? She does not have that kind of money. And her nails are ugly- don’t come here; they aren’t good people or even good at nails- I am horrified.

I really wanted my toenails and eyebrows done after being on a plane from Texas to New York. I just wanted a couple of hours to get back to myself and feel nice after traveling with 2 young kids. I've not been to this nail place in over a decade since I moved from New York, but coming back to Polished Nails was a bummer. Before we walked in, we got a call from Polished Nails asking if we're still coming. I do understand that it was the 4th of July and I'm sure others were wanting to get pampered, too; however, we came with my 7 year old daughter, 6 year old son, and 1 1/2 year old nephew. My daughter had a pedicure. She sat quietly the entire time. My son and my nephew were also well-behaved. They were sitting in the lobby watching something on an iPad. It still felt as though we were an annoyance. Right after my sister was done with her manicure, she pointed towards my daughter and I, which is when I saw one of the male workers put his hands in the air and his head back as if frustrated. I was dismayed after that because we tipped and paid in full despite the awkward interaction. My parents are deaf, I grew up signing. I understand gestures more than you may think, but I think anyone would have gotten that one. It was embarrassing. Still, I was conversing with my mother in sign language and we were being stared at. I'm sure I looked mad, but I was shocked at what I just saw. I was also trying to explain to my mom what happened. As we were getting ready to pay, the female worker asked if we would tip. Twice we did, but if you have to be so bold as to overcharge and make rude gestures, we just won't come back. Not only is everything bigger in Texas, kindness is not lost on them! I hope y'all stop gaslighting others on their reviews of your business and be accountable. Most of your reviews are not great. P.S. My sister's chrome Nails are peeling already.

Was $45 GEL pedicure rushed beyond belief. I left with cuticles still stuck in the corners and sides of my toes, dead skin I specifically asked him to file he snipped at twice and didn’t file at all leaving it in worse condition for further peeling. THEN he proceeds to put only one coat of color on my toes and go to the clear. When I complained about the color being too late and too transparent, I was told “it matched my blouse”, as if that were relevant to me having it on my toes for the next couple of weeks! I really wanted them to do it correctly right then and there on the spot, but I was getting looked at like I was insane and felt like I wanted to cry so I left. Best part, Is you try to call them after you recompose yourself and the phone goes STRAIGHT to a recording that there’s NO Voicemail set up and then hung up?!!! Three times at 4:00pm and you were not closed??? I wish I could “post the photos” of my toes!!!

I’ve been to Polished 3 times now and they are great. I moved up from Brooklyn a few months ago and was worried I wouldn’t find a salon to do my UV fills up to par. This is my favorite salon I’ve been to in a long time. The shape always comes out exactly as I asked for and lasts a long time. Highly recommend!

Best nail salon in New Paltz!!! It’s spacious, and very clean. The staff was friendly and did a great job. Comfy chairs and clean furniture. Nail techs wore gloves and everything was highly sanitary. They accept card but prefer cash and have an ATM.

Faye and the team at Polished have always done a great job at taking care of me even when my hands and feet have been worse for the wear (I’m a nail biter). They’re professional, clean, and very accommodating. Ava did a great job on my pedicure too.

I always love going to Polished. They do an amazing job at every aspect, and aren’t afraid of gnarly climbers’ feet! Today Faye listened to my request and even suggested a better-suited technique that cost less than what I originally requested. I’m corporate-ready and nobody in the office this week will know that I’m a climber!

I got gel nailpolish done with acrylic nails. I've been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for about a year now and never have they ever chipped before the 2 week point. These chipped in 3 days. Not to mention the expensive price they charge for mediocre nails. I got diagnosed with COVID 2 days ago and called them and told them my nails were chipped but I wouldn't be able to come in until I test negative to fix them. They said unfortunately they have a 3 day fix only policy. EVEN WHEN I HAVE COVID??? Even though I've been going to them for months despite their outrageous pricing, I will be finding a new nail place.

I've been coming to polished nail spa for over 2 years now & have never loved a nail salon more! I have two people I use & they both are fantastic! They take walk-in's but I always schedule an appointment (i dont want to risk walking in & not having any availability with my favorite nail techs!) Always beautifully done & in a timely manner! They can do just about anything on your nails!

Ive had pedicures, gel and acrylic manicures at Polished. Faye was able recreate detailed nail designs that i showed her from a photo. Every service has been fantastic. I highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Polished since Aug. and every time they have been great! My nails have never lasted this long and they are meticulous in making sure they are right! Faye does amazing designs including for holidays! I definitely recommend them!
