Great customer service! No hassle no fuss just good customer service! I screwed up setting My membership up online somehow switching my primary and backup cards which caused money to not be there when it pulled so I had a late fee as well as I live in Tyler work in Longview and I guess it went off my location so it put Longview as my main gym. Couldn't call till 7:30 at night cause work yet the manager still took the time to take care of me straighten out the card issue and straightened out the gym location issue as well got my primary gym set to Tyler. 100% great customer service. That is so rare today!!!

Very poor management. I would recommend one of the other gyms in town. We switched to the Institute, great manager, staff is great as well.

I am so disappointed. I decided to end my workout with a hydromassage bed, but it didn't even work. A staff member asked me to shine a flashlight on the outlet so that he could unplug it and plug it back in. Still didn't work.Then I was told by him to use the massage chair instead. Once I sat down, I noticed another staff member sitting on the massage chair next to me, having an inappropriate, loud conversation with someone on the phone. I was very uncomfortable the whole time because of him and couldn't even enjoy my massage. I tried to get a better hydromassage bed to make up for this horrible time, but 30 seconds into the massage, the bed stops working. For some reason, the timer was still on. I just left the massage room upset. Planet Fitness, PLEASE FIX ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS SOON.

Staff refused to give me a tour. I asked she just pointed out a few things from her perch. With only five or so other members in gym why not help out the new one? Seeing as how I I done all the paperwork online ahead of time. All you had to do was show me the gym! Sorry cause of this I did not even work out. 🏋️

Great gym but the staff often come off snobby / unprofessional. Would be a better gym if the staff was friendly.

I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of knowledge the Manager has at this location. I worked for Planet Fitness for 3 years as a club manager before I became a first responder. I transferred my membership to Longview location and my price went up after 2 months of being at this location. I brought this issue up to the overnight employee(Unknown name) in December 2023, he stated that he would let a manager know. Thinking that the issue would be resolved, I have failed to check to see if my membership was corrected. Due to my career I haven't been able to go to the gym that much. Now that I am able to go to more, I've noticed that my signed agreement price hasn't been honored. I spoke with Micheal at the beginning of the month before the 10th regarding this issue and he delayed the issue to his manager. I spoke with the manager Katie a few days later that told me she reached out to ABC billing regarding the increase of my monthly fees. At that time she stated that she saw my agreement and she does see what I was supposed to be paying monthly per the agreement I have signed. This morning(Sept. 18, 2024), I have spoken with Katie, the manager and she stated that ABC responded back to her regarding my membership. The reason my monthly fees went up was because I transferred my membership. A little knowledge that every team member should know including the manager is that it's FREE to transfer your membership and that your monthly fees shouldn't increase because you transferred. As a manager you should know that ABC BILLING IS ONLY FOR BILLING. As a manager you should see the issue and resolve it by calling client services who can fix and change the invoice to the correct price per the agreement. Your goal should be to keep your members coming back to your location, not to explain your cancelation policy before trying to resolve the issue. I have failed to check my membership monthly fees, thinking that the issue would be resolved. The manager has failed in not being knowledgeable of her power and resources to correct the issue. I have worked for PF for 3 years as a club manager and to see no further action being taken to resolve my issue is extremely disappointing. To see my agreement and the price of my monthly fees are supposed to be and do nothing about is extremely ridiculous. Beside my monthly fee issues, the gym is always clean, the stuff members in the evenings and weeks are always greeting members and enforcing the gym rules. As a first responder, there are plenty of Longview gyms and other facilities that offer discounted and/or free membership, but prefer to come her because of what PF stands for. I just wish someone with the basic skills and knowledge would fix my monthly fee issue.

All the people who work here are very friendly. I transferred from another gym in Boerne, Texas and Courtney helped me to complete the transfer of my membership. Courtney is the general manager of this location and is genuinely nice and very helpful. Also, very knowledgeable. After my negative experience with the management at the Boerne location I hesitated even going back to a Planet Fitness. This Longview location is managed excellently and the employees are friendly and helpful. Feels welcoming coming through the front door. I must say it is quite the opposite at the Boerne Planet Fitness.

Asked one of the guys at the front if my husband and I could use the massage chairs together, one of the guys let us know others had just gone to use them. We told him we’d be fine waiting the ten minutes and he told us we could wait on the couches in that area. When they finished in the massage chairs, we walked back out to ask them to start the chairs for us. The other guy working at the front proceeded to tell us that he just told someone else they could use the chair and that we would have to wait after we just waited for 10 minutes. The original guy we spoke to walked up and just pretended nothing happened. We were pretty upset about this simply for the fact that our trips to PF are our only chances of getting a work out in and relaxing since we have a 3 month old.

I will fix my review when/if they fix their AC problem... This is the second week in a row their AC has been down. They told me the first time I went that all 4 of their units weren't working and that they would be up within the next 2 days so I worked out the rest of the week at home but when I came back a week later, the AC was going but it was still hot as hell in there (maybe they only fixed 1 or 2 of the 4 units? or the workers just have it set too high i don't know....I would like some clarification on this) compared to the 100's of other planet fitnesses around the country I've been to over the years trucking. I really don't want to have to find a new gym only for my hometown but I might have to if this is going to be the "norm"...... Response to owner: I have already spoken to management about the issue twice UPDATE: AC back to not working properly.... Second time this week is been way too hot in here

I am a member. This location is always very clean, plenty of available equipment and the staff is always friendly. While there are not a lot of free weights outside of the machines, you will get a great workout in a clean and inviting environment with working equipment.

If I could give them 0 stars I would, if I haven't paid for a year that I haven't even used I would cancel and start somewhere else. I'm overly disappointed with the customer service that this establishment has displayed. The workers are wonderful but as far as the management, the gm and the director as well, horrible experience.
