Not a bad gym most employees are good but I come in to this one typically at nights based on my work and meeting I might have (black card member and home gym is grandville) I’ve visited planet fitness gyms all over and this one dude that works after 6pm shifts always tries to talk me into making this my home gym and tells me I have to switch to this one cause I can only visit other gyms 10 times a month if I don’t make it my home gym…. Even though I play for a black card?? Probably happened 5 times and I tell him everytime you already told me this…getting ridiculous at this point…

People using gym equipment as lounge furniture while playing with their phone preventing other people the use of the equipment. Employees walking around seeing this and not saying anything to anyone, obviously afraid to make a judgment in the judgment free zone. People go here to play games on their phones, because by looking at them they clearly don't lift weighs.

Great staff and work workout environment. Derrick, the club manager here runs a great club and has been helpful to me with my needs and has also addressed my issues as well. Keep up the great work, Derrick You have an amazing club and staff members!

I love this gym! The staff are always super nice and the club manager Derrick always helps with any issues that I need help with. The locker rooms are also super clean and maintained. I always have a great experience here!

Always expect to face broke equipment that doesn’t get fixed until a complaint is made. The water fountain has been broken for a month now. Special part needs to be ordered when I asked two weeks ago for a water fountain that is commonplace in most buildings anymore. Use this as an example that this facility is breaking down consistently and sits in disrepair. As a gym, sure great the weights lift heavy. As a facility; lots of improvements needed. Staff are always friendly and helpful though.

Love this planet fitness. The staff is always friendly, prompt, and helpful. It’s well kept and clean, and they have heavier sets of weights than most pfs I’ve been to Special shout out to Brooklyn for always bringing the positive vibes before and after workouts

Closed early for “cleaning” with no notice. If you’re closed after 10pm on the weekends (when you should be 24 hours), why not clean then? I’m paying for a membership but can’t even use the hours posted??

Staff is very friendly, but the Lake Michigan Planet Fitness is overly crowed between 5pm & 9pm, Monday through Thursday. A lot of young college students from Grand Valley State University come in parties of 4 & 5 and hog a lot of the equipment. A lot of people posing in mirrors and taking too long to finish sets. A lot of rude immature behavior, like cutting in front of you at the water line. Worst Planet Fitness in West Michigan.

Staff not really approachable, seems preoccupied doing their own thing. However the facility was clean and the machines were all in working order and good variety. Edit June 2024- few newer staff members that seem to be in a good mood, most of the time. However Now the opposite, is true of the machines. Several seem to be broken most days. I am there.
