First time there 7/13/24 and I was very disappointed. Once I got to my car I realized that some of my cuticles were not removed and my nail polish looked like it was 2 weeks out. I went back in to have them remove the cuticles and still didn’t look good. I will not be returning. I will have to pay to get my nails done again this week since it looks like it’s been 2 weeks out already.

I’ve been to Place 2 Be many times with mostly decent experiences in the past, but yesterday’s visit was extremely disappointing. I came in for a dip powder with French tips and extensions, and the nail tech quoted me $65 which I already felt was kind of high. I also booked a “kids” gel manicure for my fiancé’s 11 year old, but she decided to get dip instead. When I asked if they could do a “kids” dip powder they said no problem. We were there for 1.5 hours, each with our own nail tech. Also both of us had bare nails with nothing to even to take off. My nails came out thick, uneven, and bulky. I asked multiple times for them to be filed down, but they still ended up extremely chunky. To make matters worse, the pricing was not what I was told. My $65 manicure turned into $72 at checkout because of a $7 up charge for the “almond shape” I chose. Never in my life have I heard of a nail salon charging extra for the way they file a nail. This was never mentioned during the appointment at any time. Apparently “round” and “square” are free. This just felt like an unnecessary and sneaky add-on. As for the “kids” manicure, it ended up costing $62, just $10 less than mine with no “almond shape” and no extensions. There was no explanation as for why it was so expensive, despite them initially saying they could do a “kids” dip powder with no issue, implying it was discounted like all their other “kids” options. Overall, the quality of the work was subpar and the pricing lacked transparency. For the time and money spent, I expected much better. Sadly, I don’t think I will be returning again.

Absolutely amazing experience. Top notch service, cleanliness, and just all around a wonderful time. Cannot recommend the Volcano Pedicure enough. Will certainly be back! Jack and Vanessa are the best!

Got a full set done. Two people didn’t know how to do a simple French tip. They had to keep starting over. Within two weeks, every single nail had fallen off. These are the worst acrylics I’ve ever gotten.

I’ve been visiting Place 2B for years! It is the best nail salon in Saugus. The crew is fantastic and does incredible work. Lisa is my personal favorite for a manicure!

Used to be a longtime customer of this nail salon. When I first started going there, the services I got were well done and fast. After some time the nail techs would do a sloppy job on my nails. The shape of my nails were constantly uneven and the polish would constantly chip. Another concerning issue within this salon is the employee/customer treatment. While I will admit that the majority of nail techs are nothing but kind and hospitable, the technician named Nhan gives me creepy vibes. I have seen him make the young girl receptionists visibly uncomfortable, is very touchy with his clients. While I agree with the idea of having a relationship with your clients, I feel as though you can have a professional relationship with clients and other coworkers that does not involve any physical touch. I am very upset with the way that this salon has turned out.

Went in and requested a Gel-X manicure. I received a REGULAR gel manicure. I was charged for the Gel-X manicure. I called . They told me that Lisa said she did the Gel-X refill which was a lie. They were adamant that it was a Gel-X refill. It was a regular gel manicure… So client beware. Proceed carefully because this place is shady !!!

The name of this nail salon is perfect! I have had Gel Pedicures and Dip nails done. I have never been disappointed! It is so easy to book an appointment online. Vanessa and Jack are amazing! The entire staff is so friendly. Also they have so many colors to choose from: If you’re looking for a nail salon 💅🏻 definitely look into this one. It is the Place2B! You won’t regret it! I am certainly glad I found it.

Vanessa is the best!! I finally found someone who doesn’t mind doing my crazy designs! The whole team is very friendly, talking and making you laugh. You never feel rushed or just a dollar sign here. Totally recommend.

Every time I get a pedicure here I leave so incredibly relaxed! The paint also lasts so much longer than any other salon in the area. The staff is warm and kind.

Today was my first time at Place 2B, and the service was nothing short of incredible! Lisa did my acrylics and the design I asked for with such attention to detail and skill, I can’t recommend her enough! The whole salon staff were all so kind, I barely noticed the time I was sitting there with the great music and wonderful atmosphere they as a team created. It’s quite a commute from where I live to make it here, but I haven’t found anywhere closer that is nearly half as great! Looking forward to coming back again soon!

If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet environment for a pedicure, Place 2Be is definitely the best. Their pedicure chairs are all the way in the back and in little rooms with curtains so you can enjoy your peace and quiet while getting a pedicure with privacy. I usually get the basic pedicure which is only $35 but they have different pedicures with more options which are also amazing!! I have gotten different technicians and every one of them does a great job. They take their time and don’t rush your pedicure either like some other places I’ve been to. Definitely recommend this place for pedicures.

I love Place 2b! They are so welcoming and it’s always decorated beautifully. They have so many colors and lots of different service offerings. They give hands down the best pedicures on the planet, and my gel manicures come out perfectly every time! I am very loyal to Cindy and Jack, but everyone here does a terrific job. I also love that they offer online booking, which is a huge convenience.

I love getting my pedicures here. It’s nice, clean and relaxing atmosphere . I ask for KAY she takes her time and is gentle ( ingrown toenails take patience) the hot stones are awesome!and I also love the way she did my nails, last over 3 weeks. KAY is the best!

The service was good. Nail polish too old starting coming out almos right away. We had hard time finding any one to fix it. Finally the manager took the polish off my toes and hands. No apologies 😡
