Came today for a float... was on a mommy little get away and stopped by to relax.. Friendly staff and the float was amazing and the shower after was like rain. Next time I am back visiting Grand Rapids I will stop by

Super staff, wonderful service. The phlot is amazing. I have multiple sclerosis, and too hot or too cold is miserable. The water being body temp made it pleasant. Such a relaxing service. Helps with achy muscles, tension, and stretches your spine. Helping align your body for better mental and physical health.

Place is clean that’s one plus , the lights in tank aren’t connect to room lights so just when you get in you have to get out again. Floor are VERY slippy from the moment you start. Idea to put better mats in there before someone slips as you also have no safety rails. A small shelf that can be reached from tank would be an idea for ear buds. Thats another trip out of tank. Also i paid for an hour. I got out early before the hour , they didn’t ask was I finished or was I going back in. They just cleaned the room. This place is not what I thought it would be. Very very disappointing.

Phlōt is amazing! The ambience upon entering the front door is instantly relaxing. From there, I had the pleasure of a 60 minute float. To completely detach from electronics and the noise and the busyness of the world was a complete gift, and with regular sessions, I think it could be life altering. I gained an immense sense of peace and well being. Thank you, Phlōt.

Great experience, but the air in my tank was very warm and I did start to feel myself overheating. I opened the door to the tank and this helped let cold air in and I was much more comfortable this way.

Yesterday was my third trip there and they have all been excellent. My wife got us the fire and ice for my birthday and it was one of the best dates we’ve had. I took a client to float yesterday afternoon and he really enjoyed the experience too. The place is very clean, the people are friendly and it makes for a relaxing experience.

After a big run, or any length of time. Heading to Phlōt is a must. The fire and ice sauna does the trick on all the muscles, and the tanks just send you to the next level of relaxation. Time and time I find myself coming back so that I can continue healing my body and my mind.

I went for a float session and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Everything was very clean, atmosphere was soothing, staff is knowledgeable with how all my questions were answered before I even needed ask.

Floating in this space is such an experience! Tyler and all the staff are amazing. The tanks are great!! I’ve been coming for a long time and drive from Muskegon. Well worth the drive. I tell all my friends about Phlōt!

Always a delightful experience. I’ve been going to phlōt for years, and I’m always impressed by the cleanliness, the futuristic options, and the complete comfort regardless of which experience I’m participating in. I choose total sensory deprivation, but how cool are the lights?? And the soothing sounds available make relaxing that much easier to do! Staff is so kind, accommodating, and super helpful! It can seem expensive, but it’s beyond worth the luxury! Highly recommend!!

Because there are no mats outside the float areas, my daughter slipped and broke her wrist. She had to have a cast and needed physical therapy for weeks. Her thumb is still and forever immobile. She notified the owner who offered her nothing for her trouble. She's still considering legal action for the time at her job lost, along with pain and suffering.As far as I know there are still no mats so beware

I’ve come here for both the float experience and fire and ice. I enjoyed both of them. They provide you with everything you need for a wonderful time. They have showers in each room and a station with hair dryers as well. The float experience was my favorite and relaxes your whole body

I am absolutely in love with this place! I have degenerative discs in my neck that were giving me a very difficult time the day of my Phlōt appointment. I was barely able to walk in the doors, but, I was able to walk out! Not only did it dramatically reduce my symptoms, but I had such an overwhelming feeling of peace for the remainder of my night. Almost dreamlike. The experience itself was beyond relaxing, calming. The 'chamber' is very inviting, with led lights and stars that turned different colors and soft calming music. I myself turned all of that off after about 20 minutes, just floating in quiet darkness. I did fall asleep with it being so peaceful! 🙏 Clean and beautiful rooms. Very friendly and courteous staff. I will be returning! ❣️ Highly recommend!

I’ve been here twice now and I absolutely love it. I’ve done both the Fire & Ice as well as the tank floating. I highly recommend this. If you want to have someone join the experience, the Fire & Ice has a selection available for 2-people, however the floating tanks are 1 person only. I’m highly claustrophobic, but the tank pod for floating didn’t cause any issues for me. I panicked at first when I saw it, but as soon as I stepped in - it was pure relaxation. The rooms are always neat and clean and they even have a room to rest and hydrate after your time is up. 11/10 definitely recommend.

This was my first time trying a sensory deprivation tank.  I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed the experience.  The information on the website gave me a good idea of what to expect.  I liked that there were different styles of tanks to choose from so I could pick one that I thought would make me feel most comfortable.  The staff at Phlot was great and told me step by step how to have the best experience.  They have thought of everything to make it a smooth and enjoyable experience from beginning to end.  I was surprised by how quiet my mind was.  Usually, when I meditate it is difficult to slow down my thoughts but in the tank I had very few thoughts.  I would have enjoyed it a little more if the water was warmer; it was a little too cool for me, but other than the water temperature it was a great experience.

What a uniquely relaxing experience. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our time. Will definitely be back. Word of advice: wear the earplugs.
