Jillian is just amazing! She is always so friendly and quick to make things right. Her work ethic is unmatched. Jillian knows hair like no other and always strives for perfection with color and cutting. Before I moved closer, I would travel over 1hr to see her because I didn’t trust anyone else.

* In response to the owners reply- it wasn't a couple of days later. I reached out the next day and offered to send pictures. You also didn't apologize at all in your texts. Nor was there any kind of compassion that you are showing publicly. Had you responded with some form of kindness, apology and even offered a fraction of the 318 dollars as a refund - I would feel differently but you did none of that. ** I'm giving her a two because she did a good job with the trim on my ends and having it look healthy but the color was not done correctly. I went home and found quite a few strands of the highlights that were done had dark patches, it didn't blend like I had asked for, and the highlights looked very bluntly placed. I reached out through text to let her know about the patches and that I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed and wanted some sort of refund. She completely refused to do so because she wasn't given the opportunity to see it and offer an solution. I told her I had pictures and video I can send, still no. I have no reason to lie and waste money two days in a row on my hair, especially being a single mom. Spending 300 dollars including tip and then having to spend another 200 plus to get it fixed isn't high on my list of wants. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Jillian has been doing my hair for at least 5 years. I am a cosmetologist myself. I have been in the industry for 35 years, and an educator for 13 years. Needless to say, I have been around foil highlighting / weaving since it has come out. I have yet to see a better highlight/babylight than Jillians. The placement and sectioning she uses gives me a perfect grow out. When your hair looks great even grown out, that is a professional and skilled highlight. In fact I got my hair done today, even last night I was getting complimented on my hair color. I also love the way Jillian formulates colors , toners ect. Ever since I started using Jillian for all my hair needs, I can't allow anyone else to do my hair. I know a ton of cosmetologist and hairstylist. Trust me when I say, it is worth every penny!

Jillian did my first ever spiral perm and I could not be more happy!!!! It came out just like I pictured. She was super accommodating and personable, which I loved! I will definitely be back for all my hair needs 😊

Loved our first visit to Persnickety Salon. Jillian is knowledgeable in all hair services. Our teen wanted a perm which not everyone can do and it came out perfect. We will definitely be back

Jillian has been doing my hair and various family members’ hair for the better part of 18 years; I have followed her to various salons … this one, hers, is the best in look, feel and comfort for your break to take some time to give yourself some loving care. While she can cut your hair in whatever style you desire; she has extra talent in performing any service that requires sectioning and wrapping hair, whether it be thin and fine or thick and course, expeditiously, (without painful pulling and yanking!), while still taking care to do it well. She doesn’t skimp on product for your service and, if your hair is persnickety ☺️ (like mine), she will continuously seek out products that will give you a better/the best result … and she remembers over time! Visit Jillian for service and you will not only love your hair, you will enjoy the experience in her cozy space!

Jillian installed my first Invisible beaded rows and wow! Friends and stylists couldn’t even tell - so fun to have hair options that matched perfectly to my hair! I wore them in the ocean and have had almost 9 weeks between moving them up - insane! *she does recommend a move up sooner and no ocean wearing but …well, #beachtrip

Jillian is the only one allowed to touch my hair. I've known her for 25 years. I've let others from time to time cut my hair and always run to her to fix it. I had finally got to the point I'll wait till I'm back in town before I get it cut because even if I'm out of town no one else can touch my hair. She very respectful of others. She's kind and has morals and values. She's colored, cut and permed my hair. She's also waxed my eyebrows. I've never once had a complaint about her doing any service on me. Even being an ex cosmetology educator myself, I won't let anyone except her do any services on me for the rest of my life. I even was joking and told her even when she's old, I'll hobble myself into her nursing home demanding her upkeep on my hair. I love what you do Jillian! You're an amazing person and an amazing stylist! I'm glad to have crossed paths with you. Blessed by that. 🥰

Very good experience for my wife. Jillian is very knowledgeable, has the experience and skills to perform very well. She did a remarkable job on my wife’s hair and helped her with products that will solve some of the issues my wife is having with her hair. There was a small language barrier issue, but Jillian being resourceful, was able overcome the issue. The salon is highly recommended for excellent quality and care.
