Emily gives me my dream hair every. single. time. I have gone to her over the past year every 6-8 weeks for trims and highlights, and I am happier every time I walk out of the salon. She has absolutely transformed my hair. She is incredibly kind and lovely to be around — whether you want to talk, work, or read during your appointment, she accommodates perfectly.

Emily is so amazing! She listens to exactly what you want (even when you don’t know yourself). Emily shows you what to do to make your hair look good every day- in very little time. Cannot say enough great things about Emily! She’s so sweet and personable, too! Highly HIGHLY recommend!!!

Emily has been my hairdresser for so long that we can’t figure out how long it’s been. She is flexible, helpful, and always wants to put my wishes first. My hair isn’t easy to work with (thinning, but with stubborn, hard to style waves), and I leave the shop feeling good.

So happy to have found Emily! Over the past year I have gradually lightened and brightened my brunette straight hair with her and she always gets it just right. The best blending for a natural look. I had such an amazing experience with Emily! She was thoughtful, kind, and professional. She listened to me while also giving her knowledgeable opinions on my hair color and I loved what she did! My hair wasn’t in it’s best shape, but she worked her magic to transform it. Emily does such a great job with my hair! She takes the time to get to learn about my hair and my hair routine and listens to what I’m wanting in a hair style. She can take it from there! I have been going to Emily since 2012! She is one of the very best stylists that I have found in Portland. Emily has an incredible eye for what will work well with your face shape, hair color, and texture. She consults with every client whether it's your first visit or your 100th, and truly listens to your vision for your hair. She is very creative, and I often just let her do her "magic" and I always love the finished product. I would give her 50 stars if I could!

I recently moved to Portland, and having seen the same stylist for years I was nervous going to someone new. Emily did an absolutely perfect job on my hair and recreated exactly what I wanted even when I could barely put my wishes into words. I was looking for a “lived in” blonde style after years of frequent highlighting, and she delivered. She added dimension with high and lowlights and a shadow root that made the colors blend out with my natural hair perfectly. The gloss overall that she added toned down the blonde to the cooler tone I was going for. I wanted to cut off quite a bit of length while still having movement and be able to style it. She tailored the cut perfect for my face with layers and a face frame. Highly recommend her. She was so sweet and truly made sure my hair was exactly what I wanted.

Emily is a hair magician! I came in with the worst spilt ends, layers that badly needed reshaping, and old highlights that were more brassy than they were blonde! Emily and I talked over my hair goals and she came up with a game plan to get us there. I walked out with dimensional, shiny color and perfectly textured layers. I'm coming back in a few weeks for highlights- Emily explained to me that breaking up my appointments would be best for the health of my hair, and would ultimately be the best way to reach my hair goals! I love that she has the health of my hair in mind. Also, love the space, Grace salon has such a great vibe and the products they use are amazing!

Emily is the "Balayage Master", great stylist and amazing person. I have been seeing Emily for years. She never disappoints, whether you are in for something simple or have decided to go blonde. I was mostly recently in for a very overdue cut and color. She cut beautiful layers into my hair so that it will air dry curly, I love love love my cut. I left with shinny, bouncy, gorgeous hair. The new space at Grace salon is beautiful, welcoming and very clean. Book an apt. now!!
