Worst service that I have ever gotten at a braiding store. I paid the $50 deposit to reserve my spot. My appointment was at 1pm and they didn’t start braiding my hair til 1:45pm. It took them til 6:20-30pm to finally get my hair done. It’s not like I asked for long ass braids. They were medium length and went down between mid back/waist. There were several people that got their hair done before they finished mine. The hairstylists kept leaving me to go do someone else’s hair. Lots of yelling and they were really slow to get my hair done. Not worth the money that I paid. I got these braids on December 8th. It already looks like I’ve had them on for 3 weeks. They did not braid my hair into the extensions and I’ve been having to trim my own hair to try to make the braids look nice. I was being generous when I gave them a tip when I honestly shouldn’t have. I will never ever go back. I know where I went, I recognize the background and the exact location so don’t tell me that I got the wrong place because I didn’t.

I previously went to abass in Denver and had an awful experience with a sew in. I came to Nhyira for her to fix it for me and she left me speechless! So gorgeous 10/10!

Nhyira is absolutely amazing!!! She fit me in last minute and really made my vision come to life. I’m from New York never had my hair braided in Colorado and I now found a place I’m always going to go too….. she is so sweet and very professional but still made me feel so comfortable and will work with you as well. Just pure perfection!!!! I will be back

Super sweet and fast! Got my appointment the same day. I initially wanted a quick weave but was recommended a sew in with no leave out by a Nhyira to preserve my hair. They are super patient and kind. I had to run to the hair store three times before getting started due to my own mistakes of picking up the wrong hair. The ladies were kind and quick! I love my hair and will be back! Thanks Again!!

I walked in (no appointment) showed her a style I wanted. She told me what type hair to purchase went got it came back & she started my hair. She followed instructions as I wanted short (not shoulder length or long). I left with what I asked for. & very reasonably priced. She did inform me she under charge me (I have very thick hair) but wanted me to know it'll be a little more my next visit. When completed, I went to ATM pulled money ot & took back. It was worth it. Was done 3 1/2 hours.

Wrote this like 2-3 times now keeps getting deleted lol but went in for box braids ended up paying a lil over 160 and they braids look like there worth 60 at most she put little to no effort on the braids seems like she just wanted to get it done more then anything not a single braid that doesn't have frizz would not recommend

I don’t usually write hair salon reviews, but I can’t even begin how impressed I am with Nhyira salon. When it comes to haircutting, braiding and styling, Nhyira and all the ladies are the ultimate example of excellence!!

I’m so satisfied with my short boho knotless! Nhyira and Zoe was amazing. Very sweet, professional and fast. I came to them because my regular braider has been overbooked every month and I think I am switching over to Nhyira for good! I really enjoyed the atmosphere. My hair had fallen out at the top from my last braiders assistant and Nhyira was able to educate me on what could have caused it and what to do to fix it, she even used lighter products on my hair In case the one she would have initially used caused further damage. 10/10 RECOMMEND!!

I was excited to try out this hair salon! The ladies are kind however, my appointment was at 9 am and they didn’t start my hair until 11am. And the braiding was alright- not much tucking with natural hair and lots of frizz. Additionally the owner tried to get me to pay extra for booking online because if they use that service it charges them more, but that’s not the customers problem. I overpaid for what I normally get. I will not be returning due to this experience.

I have Sister locks and I was having a bad days to where I was wearing hair wraps every day it sure is nice to have a nice salon to go to to do my hair and I don’t have to wear my hair wraps anymore. My hair looks beautiful. Thank you.!!

I think the women there are inexperienced even as a man because. 1. My family own a hair salon in Miami, 2. I've been raised around hair stylist all my life to the extent where I can tell the difference between permed, lace fronts, and specific chemicals put on a hair. She ripped hair out of my head and claimed it was dreaded. I de-tangled it myself in front of her and all she had to say was " oh you really know your hair"..... The owner claimed that her assistant was new. But why sit there and teach your assistant off of your new clients hair? I lost 4 inches walking into that salon.... now you may ask why didn't I go to my family's. The reason is because I am an over the road truck driver. I get my hair done where I can not where I want when I'm at work. I lost like 2 years of hair.

Don't Go here... paid 230 for singles every last one of them feel out. Then the owners try to act like they never did your hair...this shop is shady I'll be taking them to court. Follow my story Now located on 6th in Peoria in Aurora Colorado. Warning don't go to this hair braiding shop. I went there for singles and my braids all fell out. The owners then try to act like they didn't do your hair so they don't have to refund you .. They are shady save your money and time now I have to waste more time and money to processed with court. No business should operate like this. They make American look bad when they come here and operate business that is not ethical or just in anyway

Had an appointment to get my hair braided after my friend got hers done but after seeing the quality of the braids I decided otherwise. Her braids have bubbles, lots of loose hairs and the braids aren’t even straight. She mentioned multiple times that she wasn’t happy with the quality but they kept saying it’s her hair… they gas lit her and refuses to fix it and still charged her $125 for braids that looked like my little sister did them.

This place is not the best if you wanna get your hair done at a good level. lady is nice to talk to, but scam like for sure. told me to come in for a crochet and retwist charging me 120. Therefore when i got there she said she was going to crochet my hair and then have another lady palm twist my hair. 40 minutes later, I just ended up getting crocheted barely, each dread feels different. and never palm twist. i called the lady and she kept saying i got a palm twist, like as a man who’s had dreads i think i would know when someone is palm twisting my hair. The job wasn’t done to its best ability, and i hate having to even try to correct this but i don’t want no one to experience this, i really advise to check out a better salon i know there is better business and better customer satisfaction. 120$ is too much to wish i never went to this salon. Doesn’t smell the greatest either.

I recently had surgery and can’t lift my arms to wash or do my hair. The incredibly talented ladies at Nhyira worked me in as a walk in over the Christmas Holiday and gave me extra beautiful braids that look stunning and are perfectly tight and neat. The best—love Zoe!
