I went in for my first pedi and gel at this salon and let me tell you, it's a hidden gem!! Everyone was so kind and my nails look amazing! I normally would go to a place closer to St. Paul but this salon is more affordable and located next to my office. Ample easy parking. Convenient and easy online booking. Comfortable chairs. Calm environment. Highly recommend the hot stones! Srsly, just book it.

Been coming here for over 15+ years and have always had great service; Houng listens to my ideas and tailors in her exceptional experience and knowledge to best fit my style and my odd head shape haha; won’t ever let a different hairdresser touch my hair. Whether it’s for a quick haircut or a two hour bleach, colour and cut, the team does their very best to get you in their books at a convenient time for you and will call ya up if there is a cancellation. I only recommend this salon to friends and coworkers as I never have a doubt they’ll give amazing results. Thank you! (:

Some of the staff were friendly and greeted us, but the old lady that works there didn’t even welcome us or say hi- btw she was the one who gave us a haircut. We felt rushed through it all and literally no smile on her face the whole time. And the haircut was uneven to top it off lol. Didn’t ask if we liked it? or if we wanted adjustments? She just put gel on it and called it good. Do not recommend for haircuts.

Roth and Kim are simply amazing with their friendly personalities, creativity, and provide a relaxing Spa experience. If you're looking at having a 5 star nail service, come to New Century Salon!!! I took my mom and me for the deluxe pedicures and it was " SO FABULOUS" Our nails look so beautiful as we got nail art with gel polish. I'm excited to show off my pretty toes in my new sandals. We will be back for great services again and again. Highly recommended 👌

Went to Hab on recommendation of another customer. Never Again! I now have a head of too short, limp, butchered uneven hair. He should have been professional and said upfront he didn't have the skill or ability to give me a cut similar to the picture I showed him. I now will have to go to another stylist, and have most of my hair chopped off, and even doing that, the back is so BAD, it will take months before that can be addressed and remedied. I am Very unhappy! to say the least.

I got a perm 2 weeks ago And now my hair just looks wavy On the phone they said 100$ Then when I walked in it was 195 and I’m like okay I guess ik I have thick hair and I brought my baby with me so I knew it was gonna take awhile Then it was nice and curly walking out of the salon She told me do not wash for 3 days I waited 4 And when I washed my hair it just turned wavy I paid 195 for wavy hair which I was not going for And on top of that she used a brush on top of my perm U are not supposed to do that and I told her to use a wide comb She didn’t do that she used a regular comb My hair looks frizzy and wavy Don’t come here for a perm !

I had a great mani/pedi from Roth, and my daughter (10 years old) had her toes and fingers painted by Kim. After a little snafu at the beginning of our appointment, Houng helped come up with a solution that left everyone happy. Sophanny was so kind and friendly with my daughter.

New Century Salon was recommended to me after I moved to Cottage Grove and I was very pleased with the entire experience. I went for a balayage and it's fantastic. Hab listened to what I asked for and achieved the shade of blonde I wanted. Everyone was warm and friendly, and the salon itself is quite beautiful. I will be back regularly!

Seen Roth a few times for my mani/pedi & she never disappoints. Beautiful and holds up very well. I like how I’m not rushed and pampered. Another bonus - it’s quiet spot in the back of the salon, with a few chairs.

I went here again after 3 years and the experience is still amazing! Sivhab did my haircut and he did an amazing job! I also love how he gave me recommendations based off my hair to better suit me! I'm definitely going to come here again to do my highlights or next haircut! The pricing here is definitely affordable too! I inserted my before and after!

Today was my first time at New Century Salon in Cottage Grove and Houng did my razor cut haircut! Very happy with it! Salon was very clean and Covid protocols were followed.

Sivhab did a fabulous job with a brand new style for me, going from long hair to a really short cut. He understood my goal, looked at a few photos and came up with a great cut. So glad I took the plunge with him, other stylists were totally booked up.
