Nelly has a beautiful spirit I love getting my hair done by her. She always revamps a hairstyle I pick to look way better than just the picture. She is very sweet and she takes her time on my hair to make sure I can satisfied with the ending results

Nelly was so amazing and fast too! I brought my grandson to her for his first braids and she did such a beautiful job on him and made him feel very comfortable while she was doing his hair. We definitely will be coming back to her!

Had a bad experience with this place. i booked an appointment for 2:45 pm and got here, everyone was cutting hair meanwhile i’m waiting 20 minutes to get info on where my stylist is and they had to call her to tell me that she isn’t even going to make it, i wish i would’ve got told this ahead of time before i even went. Next time let your clients know you aren't going to make it for they don’t waste gas money.

Moved from Toronto to Colorado in September. It was a serious challenge to find a beautician in Aurora Co. I found this parlor via black Denver on Facebook. Nelly the owner is very reliable. Every appointment I booked has been on time. Nelly also listened to all my hair concerns given that I have thick wavy natural hair and was concerned about using heat on my hair since the temperature is very dry. Nelly also suggested some great products for scalp dryness which I use regularly. I opted for the roller set which was done by one of her beauticians. Hiwot is very passionate about hair, patient and willing to work with my requests. She dyed and roller set my hair beautifully. I was in need of a hair cut and decided to layer my hair with Marabelle who did an amazing job and allowed me to monitor each cut to ensure it wasn't too much taken off. To all the staff at Nelly's parlor thank you for making me feel at home in the midwest and for all your smiles and laughter. Tina from the "Great North" Canada 💓😎

Not only was Nelly professional and fast but efficient. It did not take her as long as it has taken in the past at other shops. Her shop was clean and welcome as well. Finally find a shop in Denver that I will continue to visit for my hair needs!

Very happy to had found this place! The salon has such a fun, and professional vibe to it. Nelly did my braids and she was amazing! At first I had wanted something different, but she work with me and my sensitive head. We found a design that worked great for me. I love it! I got crocheted braids and they looked amazing. She works fast and works carefully too. Nelly kept checking in- asking if it was too tight? Or if I didn’t like the hair color…she was very good at keeping me in mind and that was wonderful. She’s also very sweet person herself. Be sure to book a time in advance and just have good communication with her. Cause she’s wonderful. Will 100% be coming back.
