First time there I went for a Gel fill , the worst experience I’ve ever had in any nail salon I did not not get what I asked for I showed the man how I wanted my nails he took a picture of my nails of how I wanted them he and couldn’t get anything correct and charged 85 dollars both hands are totally different designs that place needs to be shut down ! Very unprofessional!!!!!

Stopped going here several months ago due to manicurist filing off gel nails until nails were so thin it was painful to use hands for days. It took 6 months to regrow healthy nails. I have been going elsewhere since then but thought I would try Nations again last week due to convenience of location. Upon entering salon was greeted with “what you want, pick a color”. Manicurist was in progress of giving pedicure to another customer. I walked over to her and explained what had happened before and requested my gel be soaked off and not ground. She appeared irritated at my request and stated she had to use dremel just to top coat to remove the shine. When my turn came I sat in pedicure chair and she lightly ground nails and wrapped and soaked in foil while she did pedicure. She did not offer to introduce herself or have any conversation with me in any way so I unfortunately do not know her name, although her chair was the first one and by the phone and register. She acted very irritated to be doing my nails. After pedicure and pointing for me to move to her chair she began grinding away. I pulled my hand away to examine and she said “it’s ok I have to. Don’t worry “. All nail beds were filed paper thin again and less than 4 days later gel is chipping (see photos). Again it will take months to grow health nails and I warn people to run from this place. Rude, expensive, no regard to my request, ruined my nails, chipping after 4 days! I’m not sure if all staff is that bad but will NOT ever return to find out!

This was the WORST full set of nails I’ve ever had. I’ve had many. I was not near my normal location and chose this place. Lady was on the phone the entire time. Literally 45 minutes. And I’m ok with that as long as you can do your job. I’m not even picky but this was just careless. She def needs to slow down and take care of the people paying her salary. And needs continuing education. This is why I will continue to go to Dang Nails in Marietta. They give a damn.

Lucky was my stylist. He was nice and my nails looked really good. However, he told me that the gel would last 2 -3 weeks. It lasted 5 days until it started peeling off and making my nails look horrible. On day 6 I visited the salon. Lucky was not available. I spoke to his wife. She was very rude and said that it was my fault...and gave several reasons. Once I informed her that this was not the case she turned and talked to her client about my nails as if I wasn't standing there. I kindly defended myself and decided to take the high road and leave. Because of her rudeness and not trying to make anything right, I will never go back and cannot recommend this salon to anyone.

I am not from this area, me and my husband are in town due to our jobs and we’re gonna be here for 3 to 4 weeks. I was even making small talk with the lady and explaining to her that we were in town due to our jobs. So that being said I went on Google and was looking for nail salons near the hotel that I was staying at while I was waiting on the Airbnb that we’re going to be staying at to come available, I wanted to kill some time plus my nails needed to be refilled in anyways. I googled three Salons and I was looking at the reviews. The salon that I went to was not open for the lady that does nails would not be in until after 2 o’clock today. So I went ahead and went to this salon and I wish that I would have listened to the people that left the previous reviews. first of all I’ve never in my life had to pay this much to have my toenails and my fingernails refilled in. I did not have Jill polish or anything like that. I brought my own fingernail polish in for my toenails, regular fingernail polish. And I just had my tips of my fingernails done with the white color. It was $86 and some change and I also left a tip to the lady that done my fingernails and a tip to the lady that done my toenails and I’ve never had to pay that. Now I do know that prices are different. Damn that much difference and at the end of the day my nails are not perfect. All I had her to do was cut my nails down and refill my nails and put the white fingernail polish on the tips of my fingernails I had the basic plan thing that you can do to your feet, they soaked it in the water and I brought my own fingernail polish in for my toenails. And then whenever I get up to the counter to pay for it, she tells me that it was $86 and some change actually, she said it was $85 and then when I looked at the receipt it was $86 and some change so she charged me a couple dollars more than what she said anyways and they were starting to get busy so that’s the only reason that I didn’t say anything, but I wish I would’ve and I’m getting ready to call back up there because i’ve never had to pay that. I don’t know if anybody else has had to deal with that situation going there plus my feet did turn out pretty good but my nails did not turn out that good. Normally I pay $35 to get my feet done and for a refill back at homes only $18 but I do know that most places charged 35 for your nails to be refilled in so that should’ve only been $70. I don’t know just for that much money I shouldn’t have to complain about anything to do with my fingernails or toenails. I should’ve just said something while I was in there my first time there and it will be my last !!

I give one because I have too.. gel nail completely fell off on day two. When I went back to fix it, the gentlemen that “fixed” them didn’t put a top coat. Upon, walking back after noticing my nails were sticky, the husband and wife both displayed anger and then demanded I go wash my hands. The husband fixed them and later laughed because he forgot. After my fourth trip back, I can assure you, this was not funny. The couple is extremely rude and I will NOT be going back.

I left in tears. I never get my nails done but I got them done two weeks ago for a special occasion. I decided to come here to get a fill because they had grown out a little and I have a wedding to attend soon. I said I’d love a fill with a natural white ombré, he said they can not do a fill like that and that I’d have to take them off and start over. I said oh, no , I want a fill so I guess you can just keep them the same color I had previously. He said ok and began filing. Then he chopped them off real short and I said “oh that’s a little short, I thought we were going to do the same shape” and he said “yes same shape” and then he started popping them off. I said oh you’re taking them off? I thought we were doing a fill? And he said no you can’t do a powder fill, only the same color and I said ok you must have misunderstood I wanted a fill, not a new set. How much would a new set be? He said $55. I said I came in for an $18 fill, I didn’t want to have a new set. He said nothing. I said I will just pay for the removal of the nails and he said ok that will be $15. If I would have gone to my original place in Buchanan , I would have gotten a beautiful fill for $18…. But instead he ripped off my new acrylics that had just been put on a few weeks ago. Upset.. Wish he would have at least offered some sort of solution. I could have removed them myself. I asked for a fill and he removed them and now I will have to get a new set somewhere.

The first time I went my pedicure was great! I went yesterday and the girl was in a rush, I got gel polish and she only put two coats of polish, gel is usually thicker than this, I can see my toenail through the polish smh. I'm very upset about it and will be calling in the morning and I'm hoping they are gonna fix it!

Unfortunately not a good experience. Came here on my lunch break for a French manicure bc of the proximity my job. The person doing my nails was rude, and the work itself wasn’t the best either. Won’t be returning.

Went for a manicure and pedicure for a special occasion. Truly did both. My toenails are crooked and the flowers look like blobs. She didn't remove all the old polish on my fingernails, didn't buff or shape the nails, and used no basecoat. I had to go home and remove everything to do it myself.
