Been going here for over a year and the service has slowly gotten worse each time. The same girl terry who has been doing me this entire time has the worse attitude. She’s always nice to everyone except me. I waited over 1 hour until I was serviced even though I came on my scheduled appointment. She didn’t even care to apologize to me for the wait, while other people walked in and waited 5 mins she immediately apologized. The towels they use for pedicures smell absolutely awful. Not to mention I always leave with bloody toes because they can’t be careful while cleaning the cuticles. It’s ridiculous. It’s unfair because I have been a loyal customer.

Gotten my nails done here a couple of times and I like coming here. It’s clean, friendly and I am happy with the services. I started doing gel x a couple of times and my nails are now grown enough to do on its own. I recommend the cat eye colors.

Great place!!! They don’t hurt you here, or cut you, I met with Terri, she was very gentle and precise with cutting my cuticles, I was hurt bad before I was almost traumatized (lol) so I stopped going to nail salons but had to give it another try and Terri was amazing. Spa is super clean, restrooms are spotless and smell good and massage chairs are fancy and also the manicure sections are very well kept and clean. Will be making this my go to spot from now on! Thank you guys!!!

I love going here! I found out about MPJ on a recommendation and I’ve been going ever since! All the Techs are very friendly and the place is very clean and well organized (never have to wait long even without an appointment). And my nails always come out looking great! I also take my mom with me and she likes it there too!

I love this place!!! My husband and I originally had an appointment at another nail salon but they couldn’t take us because they made a mistake with overbooking and were really busy. So, we were really disappointed and wanted to do our nails. So we looked up nearby nail salons and found MPJ Nail Spa. We called to see if they took walk-ins and they said yes we could come right on over. When we arrived everyone was so nice. They sat us down immediately. Vicky did my nails. She was amazing, super sweet, and friendly. We are definitely coming back!!!

Love this place. Everyone is friendly and knows what they’re doing. Been coming here for awhile and have never had a bad tech. Ignore the bad reviews. It’s usually that one sour, difficult customer that wants to rant about something petty. Ive had Gel-x, pedicures, gel builder and my daughters the same w nail designs and every visit they get them done right. The salon is beautiful and always clean. If you want a certain nail tech, be courteous to other customers and make an appt. John, his wife,Cindy, Tina, the girls at the front, Lisa and other techs they’re all so nice & friendly! They want to make sure you are taken care of happy with the results.

Everything from making the appointment to the service and the outcome were great! It was very easy to make an appointment online. Haydi was my tech and she did a very nice job on my pedicure. It was relaxing and a calming atmosphere despite being packed with customers. I'd definitely come back for my seasonal pedicure. 😄 Also, it was great that they didn't try to up sell me and just gave me what I asked for. There was very little pressure.

MPJ Nail Spa is a nicely designed, clean, well equipped, and trustworthy nail salon in Monterey Park, CA. It’s conveniently located in a large shopping plaza on Atlantic Blvd, between the 10 and 60 freeways. If you go there on a weekday, there is ample parking in the parking lot, which is shared with L.A. Fitness, Mr. Baguette, and NBC Seafood on the other end. If you go there on a weekend, it’s probably best to go after 2 pm, when the dim sum crowd dies down at NBC Seafood. I decided to try out MPJ Nail Spa because I was looking for a reliable nail salon that’s close to home. MPJ has good reviews and a 4.3 rating on Yelp! I also like that it isn’t part of the swarm of nail salons in or near Atlantic Square, which is further south on Atlantic Blvd, closer to the 60 freeway. Cindy was randomly assigned to help me with my gel pedicure, but she ended doing an excellent job! After an awesome initial experience, MPJ is my new go-to nail salon! If you’re looking for a reliable, reasonably priced, and convenient nail salon, you don’t have to look any further than MPJ Nail Spa! 😊👍

My bestfriend and I did walk-in at 10am , it was very clean,fast, comfortable, friendly service. Check in on their tablet then you’ll be called in shortly for your service. About $$-$$$$ depending on services. Just did mine simple and short. Will definitely come back.

This is my second time here and the photo take just now is going on day 3. Excuse the dry hands and cuticles. Jay is very patient and meticulous. I showed him a style I liked and asked for ombre dip powder. He exceeded what I had in mind. I will definitely be coming back again!

I'm a regular at JP nails, needed my daughter's hands and feet done for the superbowl. I usually only get toes done with the whole foot spa etc, and my hand just manicure trim my cuticles, and shape my natural nail. The receptionist was so busy on her phone and not paying attention she didn't request the proper services so the lady's just thought it was our feet only. Then when I told them they seemed bothered and rushed. The lady trimming my cuticles was in such a rush she literally took a chunk of meat from my finger. I sat there nicely let her try to stop the bleeding as she poured everything but the kitchen sink on my bleeding finger.i was going to leave it alone not to cause a scene but when i see her charging me for not completing my hands i kinda felt disappointed and said something told them i wasn't going to be paying for my hands and I didn't tip her. As a women who tips high that bothered me not to tip. Any way it's been a week and I'm still bleeding tender to touch and I'm hoping since I'm taking care of it I can afford infection.

This was my second time coming back. I just wanted to get a basic pedicure, no massage, nothing fancy. I picked the cheapest option which was $24 called "Spa Pedicure". I did see the gel remover was $5 so I was expecting my total to be around $30. But once I got the bill it turned out to be $43. I have no idea why it turned out to be that total, I should have asked for the breakdown but I was in a hurry.

I had a wonderful time here. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Tammy helped me with my nails today and def it was one of my best nail days. Simple but bougie. Highly recommended!

I just took my daughters they charged her $68 to do nails coffin with French tip she was very upset when she came out her nails had lint from the toilet paper she kept cleaning the brush on. My daughter told her and they gave her attitude because it was so clumpy that she had to redo the whole nail again. When she came outside to the light you could see and feel the toilet paper left by her cleaning the brush on toilet paper. I darken the nail so you coud see what I'm talking about. This lady was Horrible!

Terry is a crazy skilled artist with nails. Hand painted no stencils beautiful work on my daughters and wife.
