Moxie Salon in Edgewater is an absolute gem, and Angela is the reason I keep coming back! From the moment I started coming here six months ago, Angela has consistently exceeded my expectations. She is truly a master of her craft—her precision and skill in coloring my greys are unmatched, and her blowouts are nothing short of perfection. They last for days and make me feel so confident! I also love their monthly membership for biweekly blowouts—it’s such a great little luxury that I now can’t live without. The salon itself has a warm and welcoming vibe, but Angela’s talent and dedication are what truly set it apart. If you’re looking for an incredible stylist, Angela is the one!

Really good service, Asiaa is amazing .. gave a beautiful haircut with lots of layers , understands the texture and issues I was having postpartum. I would definitely recommend this place for haircuts and hair coloring services

After bouncing around at different salons, Moxie now my regular salon. The stylists are great - mine is Asia. Everyone has had a hard time matching my color but Asia figured it out. The prices are great too especially for the quality. I even do their blow out membership which is great bc ultimately you can use the value towards a service if you don’t get the 2nd blowout for the month, which is what I always did. Highly recommend

I love this place. The staff does their best all the time. Sergio gave me the perfect highlights, the girls always do a great job at blowouts. I always walk out happy. Even when I wait I enjoy my time there. The receptionist makes me a hot drink while I talk to her cute English bulldog 😊 I always make sure to give them a big tip for their service. Unfortunately I’m busy most of the time and not able to come here more often than I do.

They are not honest with thier pricing. I was quoted for my hair before the service started At the checkout she charged me almost triple. When I call her her out she say sorry "I mispoke" She still did not fix pricing. I paid full - but in return I have warned so many people not to go here.

horrific staff. the receptionist/manager (I believe her name is Cara) screamed at me telling me "I'm embarrassing myself" over the phone because I called to calmly understand why they treated my husband so horribly which resulted in him getting a terrible haircut. He made an appointment with Sergio (who is great!) but they overbooked him and had him sit with someone new who every 5 minutes left to attend to someone else. The receptionist was incredibly rude and kept laughing at me on the phone. we won't be returning and I encourage all those thinking of coming here, to find a different location.

Angela was an incredible stylist & colorist. They had the best customer service and the initial consultation put me right at ease. They made sure I knew every step, approved the color blend, and felt comfortable with the transition. I loved my experience there & the staff was so sweet! Would highly recommend!!

I’ve been wanting to get a bob cut for awhile now but have been hesitant to because of my last experience, and I wasn’t sure where to go. I had originally come to Moxie for just a blowout, but after talking to Cookie, I instantly felt at ease and decided to get a cut with her. BEST DECISION EVER. I didn’t even expect to be this happy 😂 I’m so glad I went with my gut. Moxie has a hidden gem in Cookie! Thank you!

Michelle is so amazing, she listens, advises, and is so knowledgeable in her field! She also goes above and beyond for any special requests and always tries to accommodate the client! Also Tara at the front desk is always welcoming and so polite!

Today was my third time booking Cookie. Each time better than the last. I asked for a chocolate brown glaze and a nice healthy cut. As ALWAYS, she delivered above and beyond with a blow out to top it all off. Highly recommend Cookie and Moxie Edgewater.

I found Moxie salon recently and absolutely love it!! Everyone is so professional and friendly! I do my hair once a week and can become costly since I have long hair but they signed me up for a plan that only costs me $35 per blow dry! In other salons they charge me $55 because of my long hair! Liz is my favorite!! She always makes my hair look fabulous! I highly recommend this place! 🤩

Moxie takes great care of me , my daughter and step daughters … and we have an assortment of different hair types from straight to various types of curls and we all come out looking and feeling good ! Moxie is a wonderful salon. Michelle is a fantastic stylist and colorist. She listens to what you want and offers her expert opinions and recommendations to make sure your hair comes out great. Nicest staff who give me the best blowouts. I have course, thick and wavy hair and everyone on the Moxie staff who has touched my head has been able to handle it. Liz does such a nice job thay my hairline stays smooth until the next wash.

I was a 1st time walk in who has just moved from Europe. So it was awesome meeting someone as friendly as Cookie. She was there to help me within 10min. She was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about issues I was having with my hair. I live in the Edgewater area and its good to know there is a great hair stylist so close to me. Love my new Rachel hair 😍

Open 7 days a week . Great men's haircut . Took my friend for highlights and a blowout . She was so happy . Highly recommend .
