what a wonderful experience doing the float tank. I slept so amazingly after. The way it calmed me so much — I feel like this may have to become a part of my regular routine. Sweet staff, and many supplies to use when showering + afterwards.

I am a long time advocate of flotation and I have floated a few places. Most recently I was a client at Zephyr float in Kingston. I decided I needed to make a change. I am so glad that I did!! I wish I had tried floating at Mountain Float Spa before. The Facilities were clean, large, and clearly Spa standard. Many options for first time floaters to feel comfortable such as keeping lights and music on. The buoyancy was the best I have experienced anywhere.

The environment is so calming and clean. I've floated here at least 4 times. You really do need to give it a few attempts to get used to the process and fully allow yourself to relax. Buy the introductory package of 3. **YOU ARE NOT INSIDE A POD. You open what looks like a shower door and see an oversized tub. No claustrophobia triggers.** You can not drown. There is so much salt that you can only float. Everyone has different experiences. It is also a little different each time,depending on my stress level. Floating the first time felt very strange to me. I couldn't shut my brain off. That was 60 minutes. I decided that I still liked the physical effects, and even if it didn't help my brain, it'd help my body. The 2nd float, I fell asleep immediately and was floating for 90 minutes. I now do 90 mins each time and fall asleep for at least a good portion of each session. I recommend using the halo while floating. It props your head up and makes me more comfortable. I prefer the wax ear plugs to the normal buds. You can ask for those if they aren't already in your room. They will go through the entire process with you. If you are unsure, ASK. If there is something you did or didn't like, let them know, and they note it in your file. I prefer all the lights off. I like the music on at a very low volume. When you get into the tub, you can ask them to turn the music up or down. I prefer them to use the speaker and gently say my name to wake me/tell me when my float is finished vs. turning on the filter. Don't go if you've recently gotten pierced, tattooed, colored your hair, etc. Please shower thoroughly (NO CONDITIONER) before getting in and take your time showering when getting out because you will find salt on you later if you aren't thorough. I choose to have tea and use the lounge to recover. Take your time and move slowly to re-acclimate to the world outside of the tub. I leave all electronics turned off/on silent, with away msgs. Taking that time to be untethered and removing excess stimuli assists in removing my sensory overload. Overload that we all experience. You can look up flotation therapy online or YouTube if you have more questions. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Ask as many questions as you need. It is a brand new experience, and following the steps correctly results in a better experience. I particularly like floating here because of the open floating cabins, wide tub, high ceilings, staff, and overall environment. Floating gives me extremely peaceful, sleepy, euphoric feelings. I completely recommend this as part of your self-care routine.

Ask for John! Got me in great working order again when I came into town for a consulting gig. Had horrible back and shoulder pain and he determine what was wrong in real time. Hot towel. Deep tissue. And a great communicator. The range of motion I have after leaving is far beyond what I’ve felt in a very long time. This is going to be a regular stop when I’m in the area. John knows his stuff and he is as cool as a cucumber too!

My friend and I had the float and massage combo, it was great. Just note that the floating part isn’t a pod but a room with a nice large bathtub. The only thing I would suggest is slightly less salt, I was floating on the very top and would have liked to submerge a little as it was cold after a while

1 of the coolest & most unique experiences I've ever had! It takes me a lot to unwind & to learn the art of true meditation! So when I finally did I thoroughly knocked out & forgot myself if only for a short while! Surroundings are lovely, peaceful & Zen! Also very clean & sanitary! They walk you through the whole process ahead of time & alot you more than enough time to set up & to also collect yourself bf & after! I will definitely be back to do this again! & The Universe willing it will be a regular occurrence for me too! The owners are super friendly, informative & forthcoming! I will be telling all of my friends & loved ones about this place! 5 Stars bc I haven't felt such a release of pain in so long I've lost track! Ty for such an amazing experience, I cannot wait to see this establishment GROW!!

I was a massage therapist at this establishment and I have to say that it was absolutely wonderful. The owners, Joey and Grace are so kind and great to work for. They are also very knowledgeable on the whole aspect of "floating" and provide a calming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Incredible experience! My partner and I did the float sandwich (float + massage) and absolutely loved it. I haven't felt that relaxed in a long, long time. The perfect way to rejuvenate. Friendly, staff, clean facilities, perfect day overall. If you want stress to melt away, go here! I'm telling all of my friends about it. Due to an email mistake (on my part) I ended up showing up pretty late. Mountain Float Spa STILL took me in and gave me a beautiful experience. The massage was incredible. Staff were extremely kind. Offered water and chocolate. Just overall such an amazing spa and experience and I recommend everyone to visit!
