Advertisement is false. Walk-ins welcome the only reason I checked the place out(spur of the moment). One hour to 5 is how they charge what they charge. I had dealings with a young man who has been cutting hair for 10 years.( He knows it all) Therefore, he was great at managing the app & making sure he keeps the client in the chair, talking so they think they got their money's worth. I watched 3 different people with less than an inch of hair on their heads buy into an hour ( or maybe more) in the chair. Services offered ( for pay) needs more of a wanting to please or provide. One should put the phone down, quit bustling & listen to the client and provide, to the best of their ability. Tips would be better & it may do something for their soul. I was trying to help this guy help me. Instead showed his true self by having a little tissy and ran off to the back. I almost called him out. I was giggling on my way out.

Saw Stephen!!!! He was amazing! Got my cut exactly how I wanted it. Showed him a picture of what I wanted that no other stylist I've seen could manage to figure out! Michael got it perfect! He's pleasant, gentle and a true artist! I'll be a repeat customer of his!

I am a repeat client at Moski, and just got my hair done again by Monique. I'm in LOVE with it! Everytime, from the cuts, to the color, and the Brazilian Blowouts, she works her magic and I always leave the salon feeling more beautiful. Monique is absolutely lovely and makes you feel really comfortable in her salon. I will always come back to Monique for all of my hair needs and definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to show some love to their hair.

I love my hair!!!! Monique is a badass hairstylist!! She has a terrific personality, most friendly team, and I have had had my hair done by her for years and does not disappoint. I drive 1 hour because she’s worth it!!

Anika is an artist! She helped my 90 year old granny get a new lease on life today! She is patient, kind, professional AND hilarious. Gran can be fussy and Anika was a total Rockstar! My grandma had an amazing time and is already planning her next visit for a "spring look." Thank you Ms. Anika! We love you!

Do yourself a favor and go see Adrian! He's a master at his craft Ambience is amazing. Staff is accomodating, nice and very into their craft. Prices are fair. And NOBODY in Sacramento can cut hair the way Adrian can!!! Just amazing.

I’ve been here Twice , first time I got my hair done by Adrian and had a pleasant experience. I decided to comeback and wanted to go light the girl said it was possible in a few sessions which was fine the girl was just learning i believe kept asking questions once my hair was done it came out super brassy and orange I told her I wasn’t happy with it to just dye it black she was upset and her mother who also works there got upset and came into our conversation saying I wasted her daughter time VERY unprofessional I’m a paying customer. I tipped her 50$ but the experience I had was awful and did a terrible job in my hair .

I wish I could say I was happy with my cut...I kept explaining what I wanted to my stylist. I wanted a short bob, kind if flapper style like Betty boop. And he told me flappers had linger hair to pin their curls...but I was talking about the flappers that had SHORT hair...I think he was too afraid to chop off my hair. So I went home and did it how I wanted. The one I'm smiling in is the one I did and am happy about.

In need of a new hairstylist, I was so lucky to find Monique at Moski Hair Lounge. I called and she answered and I explained that I was looking for a stylist to support my decision to not color any more, to keep my hair long and who cut cut curly hair. She hit it on all three. After spending quite a while talking to me, she told me her ideas of what she would do and what she didn't think would be good. Monique asked me if I felt comfortable enough to have her cut my hair and I said yes. Best decision ever. Best haircut ever. She cut my wavy curly hair in a way that made it flow perfectly and require hardly any maintenance. Wash, product and go. I love it so much. Second visit I had her tone down some of the bright white that was coming in and she did exactly what I wanted. She understands that less is more for some people, and she really knows how to listen. Mostly, she is a true artist and I am so glad I found her. Thank you, Monique. Update to review: If I could cancel this post I would but Google would not let me. I don't want to mislead anyone. The 3rd and 4th haircuts here were not. good. I actually had to go to a Great Clips to get it fixed. It was about an inch longer one one side. So beware.

I WAS CHARGED $760 FOR A BLEACHING THAT EVENTUALLY TURNED MY HAIR GREEN! The owner Monique told me during the consultation that of course my desired hair color of red could not be done in one sitting (I whole heartedly understood that). AFTER HOURS OF BLEACHING SHE REALIZED THAT THERE WAS A STRANGE GREEN TONE IN MY HAIR AND OUT OF NOWHERE MENTIONED THAT SHE PUT SOME ASH TONES. We never spoke about ash tones? I didn’t understand what that meant until I noticed the next day more prominent gray/ green hair. I tried to call and ask for a measly 20% refund and was told that that wasn’t in her policy. When communicating how upset I was that I paid such an absurd price for green hair she replied with how upset she was to have spent 5 hours with me; to which my reply, “I paid $150 an hour and the client who recommended me (had the same cut and bleaching done) only paid $360.” She said she doesn’t care what her clients say because I was also paying for her expertise and education (an expertise consisting of ignorance to hair color chemistry). Monique continued to justify that she told me not to expect the color I asked for this session but I never would have expected to be leaving with gray/ green hair. She offered a free shampooing and I laughed thinking why would I let this girl touch my hair again? I feel the pictures speak for themselves. My saving grace is Mosaic Hair Salon who offered to help me fix my hair for a guaranteed $300 and 20% for making a switch. Their policies are straight forward and customer service is years beyond Moski. If you don’t want to be robbed out your money-I implore you to look elsewhere.

I have just had the worst haircut EVER! The stylist kept asking me every tiny part of how to cut my hair ...and finally decided on a butcher job that left no curls even tho online she is listed as their curly hair expert...I would hate to meet the novice. My hair grows fast so...2 weeks of wearing a hat and then a trip to someone that knows how to fix a tragic cut....and life will be back on par....thankfully I have no huge events this weekend.

I made an appointment for a quick bang trim, showed the hairdresser a photo of what I wanted and she cut my bangs. I admit I was happy with the results and went home. However, when I showered the next morning and styled them my bangs looked terrible 😣. Closer inspection showed choppy, lopsided, and uneven. Far cry from a blunt, straight edge which is what I asked for. I called the salon requesting a fix and never heard back. Nice ladies but it just wasn’t what I asked for and I was very put off by no call-back. I’ll be having to spend more money to get it corrected and I’m not too pleased about that either.

It was my first time at this hair lounge. I wanted to try a Brazilian blowout for my hair since it's super frizzy, coarse and sometimes untameable. I conveniently booked an appt online with Chanel because her profile seemed to fit what I wanted in a stylist and she had a good amount of experience. She texted, called and emailed me to confirm my appt a few days after booking. I liked how open she was about the answers to my questions before, during and after the Brazilian blowout. Everything was explained to me step by step so I'm not left wondering what's happening with my hair. She was super sweet and easy to talk to. Chanel did an amazing job with my blowout and my hair looked and felt amazing. My frizz is tamed and my hair SO much easier to manage. I'm looking forward to getting this service done again in the future with Chanel. I expected to try it out as a one time deal but I loved the results and the service so I'll definitely be coming back for my other hair needs as well.

I was so excited to finally schedule an appointment to dye my hair back to my natural color. I looked at dozens of salons all over Sacramento (yelp, Instagram, and their online portfolios). Monique's portfolio was truly exceptional and I was so ready to become a loyal client. I booked online (another awesome plus!) for an all over color as I was going from a brown back to my natural red color. I got a text and email confirmation for my appointment (wonderful!). I showed up on time for my appointment with my photos ready. After awhile another stylist told me she had cancelled my appointment because her call hadn't gone through (how did the text confirmation go through then?). Then she tried to get me to switch to a different service than what I had originally requested because someone else had taken a portion of the appointment slot I had booked. My advice for the business is to get it together - if you can't handle an online booking system - THEN DON'T HAVE ONE. If you can't get ahold of a client via phone EMAIL THEM! My advice if you want to go to this salon is to just call them because booking online is apparently not effective.

The salon is super clean and nice! The vibes are relaxing. Everyone in the Salon was sweet and they make you feel welcomed. Chanel gave me one of the best hair cuts I have had in a long time. She took her time and listened to what I wanted! Definitely will come back for all my hair needs! Thank you Chanel <3
