I found Monroe on Mane while looking for a hair stylist for my wedding back in 2021, Shelby and Kailin were incredible to work with and were able to work magic on so many different hair styles/types. Two years later and I’ve been going to Shelby for my color/cut and couldn’t be happier. I always enjoy my time at the salon which is so warm and welcoming. Shelby is patient and talks me through the process - and I so appreciate her time and care. I couldn't recommend Monroe on Mane and their wonderful team more!

So how do you get an appointment with any of them if no one answers the main phone number or returns your call? I understand that each stylist probably manages their own clients but I guess if you’re not referred by someone that has the stylist’s cell number, you can’t ever get an appointment with anyone 🤷‍♀️. I even stopped by & whomever i briefly spoke with said they are “by appointment only” and that I could go next door! I wasn’t asking for a walk-in service…. I wanted to make an appointment for another day! I was really looking forward to getting an appointment with one of the stylists, as they all had great reviews, but I am now just disappointed.

Hands down the best salon! All the girls are super friendly, welcoming and talented! Kim has been doing my hair for over 5 years. She’s amazing at her job and I always leave with beautiful hair! Highly recommend!!

Kim and the other hairdressers at Monroe on Mane are always welcoming and professional. While providing you with picture perfect hair, they also provide advice on what the best products would be for your specific hair. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!!

Not only are Kim, Lauren, Shelby and Kailin passionate about doing hair - they are experts in making you look AND feel beautiful! Kim has been doing my hair since she began her journey in becoming a hair specialist. She is the best around - always offering insight, creativity and her professional expertise. Very knowledgeable staff that is up to date on the trends of hair coloring. I’ve been to so many salons over the years in Sturbridge. Yeah a lot of them are good... but this is the BEST. If you get your hair highlighted, balayage, or lightened in any way this is the salon for you. I personally see Kim but everyone there is top notch.

By far the best salon in western MA. I had extensions put in for my wedding and Kim did amazing! I love my hair every time I get it done! Everyone in the salon is so nice! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my hair!

Kimberly, Lauren, and the rest of the team are all so professional. Kim does my hair and eyebrows and it looks great every time I leave the salon! We have lived out of state for the past 2.5 years and yet every time I am home I am sure to stop in and get my hair done!

Professional, clean, and inviting! These ladies are knowledgeable and are always staying educated on the latest techniques and trends. There is a cohesiveness here filled with respect and you feel relaxed and at ease the moment you step into this space. Kim is my stylist and I am blessed to have her! She is absolutely top notch. She gets to know you (and your hair) so she can advise you as a unique individual. If I come in and tell her what I am looking for she works with me to make it happen in the best way for my hair. If I come in unsure of what I need and ask her what she thinks, I know I can completely trust her as her advice is always spot on.
