Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience getting my hair cut and colored at this salon. I requested a color retouch but the colorist insisted on doing an all over color. I asked for a hair trim and she chopped a bunch of my hair off to achieve layers I already had. I asked for a shine treatment/glaze but she didn't give it to me, said the color would add shine. My hair ended up looking 1 dimensional in color, much darker than it was before, and very, very dull with no shine. She had a friend arrive during the appointment, where she then juggled doing her friend's hair while doing mine. Drying my hair, she stopped suddenly when a customer walked in to buy Aveda product and helped this other customer leaving me hanging when I was the client there before anyone else who was paying for the service. She was in a real rush to get done with my hair so she could make some personal plans with her friend, who was waiting there putting pressure on her to finish up. This stylist/colorist did not blend in hair product she was quickly applying to my hair in her rush to leave. She also left a hair color stain along my skin on my temples, forehead, and back of neck. It was very disappointing for the amount I paid for the cut and color. Definitely would not return nor recommend this salon. In the beginning of the appointment she stated she had 40 yrs experience as a colorist, but unfortunately I did not feel I got the service you would expect with such a resume. I have been a loyal customer of other Aveda salons for years and was hoping for the same great standard of hair service, but did not find it here.

I have been going to Julie Monet’s salon now for three years, she is very good, professional, does not have loud music, a very relaxing warm atmosphere. Julie, will have suggestions only if I ask, she listens to what you have in mind for your style, it is teamwork. I have very long straight hair at the moment.

I had a manicure and it was the best one I’ve had in a long time. Lena has skills. She took her time with my cuticles and made my hands look brand new again. When I’m in the area again I will definitely call ahead 🤳🏾and be sure she has a spot for me. She is so nice and made the time fly by. I was finished before I knew it. Excellent service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The salon was nice and parking wasn’t a problem. This is also a Monet and Aveda salon which are both great products for your hair and skin. 🧖🏾‍♂️
