Spent $55+20% tip on a bad haircut that took 20 minutes- no shampoo, styling after the cut, or any products used. The stylist, Claudia, did this to save time because she was 20 minutes late for my 11am appt. When I questioned the price due to the lack of shampoo, styling and products, the desk clerk argued. I shouldn’t have paid and certainly shouldn’t have tipped, but I did just to get out of there as fast as possible before I burst into tears over the horrible haircut I got. Will not return and do not recommend. You’re better off going to Supercuts. EDIT: I received a phone call from the salon offering to refund my money IF I removed my bad review. The $66 is money well spent to warn others to avoid this business. EDIT: I am just now reading the salon’s response 2 years later. I was never offered any adjustment nor was I requested to give them the opportunity to fix their mistake. I was offered a refund in full ONLY IF I removed this review. That was it. I would not remove it and still stand by it. Garbage service and then lies in a public forum to make it seem like something different happened. Had they asked that I come in to see if they could fix the cut and make up for their subpar service, I would have accepted with a different stylist and removed this review. I have not gone to a salon since this experience. I just cut my own hair and it still looks better than their $66 haircut.

I’ve been visiting Mode Salon East for years, and I always leave with amazing hair! I've been a client of Brent’s for a few years, and he truly listens and pays attention to detail. With a few gray hairs coming in, I wanted a balayage, and Brent helped me achieve a warm balayage that I absolutely love. Not only does Brent take his craft seriously, but he also shares his expertise with other salon specialists around Florida. Overall, the staff is wonderful, and the vibes are fantastic. I highly recommend checking out Mode Salon!

I decided to make the big change of going from long hair to short hair. Scary and exciting! I had the most amazing experience with Rosie at Mode Salon and I couldn’t be happier with the cut she gave me. She is super friendly, very easy to work with and incredibly talented. She gave me great feedback about the photos I brought in so that I was sure to make the best decision for my hair, face and personality. I will definitely be going back to her for my cuts in the future and I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a fabulous cut and/or color. And of course a before and after, because it’s what we all really want to see.

It was my first time here and it was amazing. Everyone was super nice and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend it. The ambience was very warm and welcoming and the location is perfect for me. I will definitely be back.

I've been here twice and have not had a bad experience yet. The first time i visited, Karen cut my hair, she was so sweet, great to chat with. On my most recent visit, there was a communication error with scheduling an appt for my friend and myself. The receptionist was not the most understanding when I explained what had happened, however, when I explained the situation to Rose, she was happy to accommodate both of us. Rose was an absolute peach of a person, fun to chat with and just the sweetest. I will 100% be visiting Rose in the future. Thanks, Rose 💜

Last month was my first time with Rosie. I have short combination wavy and straight hair. Rosie took the time to give me a great haircut that falls into place when blow drying. She was both friendly and professional. She offered advice that I didn’t even think of. Everyone at the shop was pleasant. Will go back for a haircut and surface foil tomorrow.

Every time I come in to get my hair styled, Rose Allen does such a phenomenal (“phenomenal” would actually be an understatement) job. She is fun, professional, and knows all these hair tricks that I never thought of before! If you’re looking for incredible service, this is the place to go.

Rosie Allen is the best! We've been going to see her for almost two years now. She's great with kid's cuts as well as men's and women's. She's professional, kind, fun, and has actually become a good friend. The salon itself is lovely and professional. We have been pleased every time we have gone. No complaints.

I’ve had my hair colored at a fair few places, and every time it’s turned out just a little less cool/vivid than what I pictured in my head. Rose is the first stylist to get my hair to look WAY cooler than I even imagined it would be. I absolutely recommend her for both cuts and color, and the salon itself is very cute and welcoming :)

Probably the best haircut I’ve ever had with fine curly hair most cuts end up a disaster Alexia did a great job and has a great demeanor. I was able to schedule for same day online which makes things super easy as someone with a busy inconsistent schedule

A first-time client impressed by Mode Salon's high reviews, I booked an online appt for a balayage (before a trip). I received the email confirmation, with date/time/stylist. As an hourly worker who lives in High Springs, I took half a day off work unpaid and drove 40 minutes to Mode Salon for the appt. When I arrived, the receptionist told me that they'd "just switched over to a new system", my appt. didn't transfer, and that they had no other availability that day. I calmly expressed that this was a hardship, having taken off work and with an 80-minute round trip drive. She didn't apologize or offer anything except to check for next-available times. (She did call a stylist over and ask if she could squeeze me in-- which was not the stylist's responsibility, of course-- but didn't mention that I'd showed up for a scheduled appt. I just looked like an unlucky walk-in.) The receptionist offered me an appt. a week later, after my out-of-town trip. I took it, and when she sent me the text confirmation, the text indicated the incorrect date. She told me that she'd fixed it on her end but I wouldn't receive a corrected confirmation text. While she admitted this whole thing was "frustrating" for me, she still didn't apologize or offer to discuss the issue with a manager for any potential next-appt. discount (or anything) as compensation for time/money lost. I asked to speak with a manager about my experience. She told me the manager was home, unwell. I asked if there was anyone in a management role to talk to. She said the other manager, the husband, was out, too. I asked if there was any way to speak with them. The receptionist took my name and number, saying she'd text them and one of them would give me a call. That was on 5/7, around 2:00 PM. No one from Mode Salon ever called. I guess when you schedule a balayage, call ahead to make sure they haven't "switched systems" again and misplaced your appt.

Rose did an amazing job coloring and styling my hair! It was my first time having my hair professionally colored; she was very attentive, kind, and nice throughout the whole process. I showed her a photo of the color I wanted and she did an excellent job matching it. I love my color and I would recommend Rose to anyone.

Claudia is the best! I have thick curly hair and she is the only one who I let cut my hair. She's very professional and does an amazing job. Love her ❤️ Edited to add: I've known Anthony for years and during that time he's done an amazing job in coloring my hair. He's very kind, polite, and professional.

I'm a woman in her 50s who over-plucked her brows back in the early 80s. Have never been good with makeup so I've just walked around scantily browed for years. Elise microbladed them yesterday and they look great! They don't look too heavy. Very subtle, but finally I have them! It looks like real hair. Don't let the cost fool you into thinking it's subpar work. She does a great job. If you're thinking of microblading your brows, I recommend you get in with her before the secret of her service gets out!

Anthony does a great job on my fine, thin hair. He's a bit of a talker, but a sweet person so what he says is not taxing to hear. And, he makes me feel relevant. I finally feel like I got myself a hair stylist I can count on. My 15-year-old son likes him as well (because, you know, he's punk cool). (Also, my name is only Roger on my google mail but really I'm a woman in her 50s).

Every time I’ve come to Mode East it’s been the best experience with stylist Rose Henderson: she has definitely gained a loyal customer. She is the most patient and kind individual who has ever worked with my hair. Not only do I always feel comfortable to ask questions throughout our appointment, but she is very clear and honest about the steps she will need to take as well as what to expect. Each and every time she takes the time to listen and discuss what I’m looking for, and nails exactly what I’m envisioning. Go to Mode East for Rose, you’ll love her!

My wife daughter and son all went to Brent this week and they all look amazing!!! We just moved into town and changing stylists is always a hard transition. We couldn't be happier. The cut he did on my son is beyond PERFECT. And my wife LOVES her new hair color. He is an incredible artist in his trade and worked magic both with cuts and color. The whole team at Mode is most delightful. My hair experience is such a a treat from the moment I pull into the parking lot. The expansive front porch and original details on the building are inviting and so cool. I get a nice selection of hot tea while I wait. Rosie does an excellent job with both the cut and the color of my wild, thick hair, and is also really great company. Upon checkout, the gals at the front desk remarked that my hair was "giving Topanga vibes", so that certainly was a win!

Mode Salon East has been an exceptional salon since moving to here 16 months ago. I went in a wanted something “different “. I had pictures of what I envisioned. I’m trying to embrace the next chapter of my hair…the grey!! Rosie worked some incredible magic and did my hair in such a way that I look younger with the new hair color/style!! Thank you Rosie….❤️

Recently moved to the area. I called earlier this week and requested to make (4) appointments for the same time - 1 adult, 2 eight year olds and 1 eleven year old. Most places you can hear cringe through the telephone, BUT NOT THIS SALON. The desk staff and (3) stylist were absolutely lovely and more than accommodating. Appointments started on time and everyone left with exactly what they wanted. The stylists that serviced the kids were so patient and skilled. I was also thrilled when I saw the line of products they carry as most places don’t, now I don’t have to pay shipping lol. One stop shop! We will be back for sure.
