Talia is amazing. I did a pretty significant chop. She was calm, great conversation, amazing haircut + style and I was educated in the process on how to have a better relationship with my hair. 10/10 would recommend Hair type: wavy

I see Talia at Mélange and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have curly hair and Talia does such a wonderful job with it. I love that she does a dry cut on it first and then washes it, styles it, and does an additional cut. The location is right in Midtown and there is a parking lot in the building. You enter the building and take a left. The inside is really cute and modern. Highly recommend Talia for anyone that has curly hair. She's a blast to talk with and does a wonderful job.

I had the best experience I have ever had having my fine wavy/curly haircut by Skye! I live in the Bay Area and have tried a lot of fancy salons, but none compare. Skye’s salon is very clean and Covid safe. She was on time and easy to schedule with. Her salon is located in Midtown which is a super cute part of Reno with a lot of cool shops. Parking is ample and free. Allow a little extra time for your first appointment because Skye will include a hair consultation so she can get to know you, your hair, how you style your hair, what you are looking for in a haircut, and how to give you a fantastic cut that works for you and your hair! She is also an educator and her tips and tricks on how to style are worth the trip alone! Skye uses an amazing natural product line that smells like heaven. I received so many compliments after my cut and have been able to style with such ease! Check out her Instagram and be prepared to be inspired!

Skye is the absolute best! She has a ton of knowledge about clean beauty and always gives me the best hair cut. Her energy is amazing and she is just a joy to be around. I would recommend her to anyone who wants clean, healthy hair. She may be a curly hair specialist but I have straight hair and she does an amazing job every time!

Skye is the absolute best. She always makes me feel at home at her salon. I have very high standards with my hair and she goes above & beyond. I have super thick hair and most stylists have a difficult time giving me a cut that actually works for my hair - Skye is the first stylist that I feel really gets my hair. Go to her for a fabulous cut and overall wonderful experience, leave feeling lighter, gorgeous and empowered!

Skye's work is truly special. My hair always feels full, healthy and full of shine when she is done. She always pays attention to the natural wave of my hair and cuts it to compliment its features. Her coloring is equally complimentary to my natural hair color and skin tone. Skye is a true artist!

The most peaceful and unique experience I’ve had with my hair, and thats quite rare when you have lots and lots of crazy curls!! Skye was amazing and her hands are heaven sent. I’ve learned how to care for my hair and understand it’s nature. I would definitely recommend!!

10/10 for Skye! She is a talented curly hair expert who is passionate about her craft, continually self-educating, and can teach you about your curls. While that is important, here are other great attributes about Skye and her business: she is a magnetic person and you look forward to spending time with in her chair, the salon is beautiful, spacious, stocked with products for sale and in a GREAT location, her prices are probably too low.

I absolutely LOVE coming here to get my hair done. I have straight hair which is generally different from what Skye normally does but we both enjoy creating something new and every time amazing. She is so down to earth and it’s so easy to talk with her. 10 out of 10 would recommend

I have been going to Skye for years now, she truly has been the sole reason my hair is healthy and growing. i never knew how much care went into curls until i met skye. she will forever be the only person who gets to touch my hair. i recommend anyone with hair on their head to take a seat in Skye’s chair and let her work her magic. not only is her work amazing she radiates a glowing positive energy that will fill your time with spectacular conversation. 10/10 experience!

I love my hair!! Ever since I started seeing Skye 3 years ago I can honestly say that I love my hair. I love the color and I love how she cuts and styles it. On top of that, the overall experience is so positive I absolutely look forward to going to my appointments. She is one of those people who makes you feel just as good on the inside as she makes you look on the outside. I actually moved out of state last summer but I still go back to Skye. Give her a try, you’ll be happy that you did.

Skye is magic ! She got my curls to come back to life and also showed me ways to help keep my curls hydrated . I call her my hair wizard . I’ve been to a few hair dressers and have never had the experience and quality of work that Skye provides . I absolutely love Sky. She knows me and my hair and I always feel that I am getting the best quality cut that I can get. It is pricy but it is worth the extra money. I have tried out other places in Reno but I always come back to Melange. I highly recommend this studio.

My whole experience was amazing. Skye took the time to look at, feel, analyze my hair and then talk with me about the possibilities. I have a hard time staying committed to hairdresser because my hair means so much more to me then just the aesthetics and finding someone who thinks on that level is rare. But this girl, what a gem that I’ve found in her ability, knowledge and care for her craft. Skye began styling my hair about 2 years ago and it has literally changed my life. That sounds dramatic, but anyone with untamed curly hair can relate. My entire life I battled my hair, curling it, straightening it, damaging it inside and out. Skye taught me to embrace the curl. She showed me how to nurture and care for it. My hair has never been so healthy. The transformation took a bit to get used to, but I actually now love my curl and it’s easier than ever to manage. I only wish I had met Skye when I was a teenager! Skye is seriously the best hairdresser I've ever had! She always has suggestions on how to make the haircut I've chosen fit me and my personality better! Plus I always walk out of there so refreshed and happy. She is the most happy and pleasant person I've ever met! It's contagious!! I've actually moved away from Reno. But I occasionally have to come back for work and when I do I always have Skye cut my hair!

Skye is simply amazing! Most educated hair stylist I’ve ever seen! I love her approach on embracing your authentic self and your hair being an extension of that raw beauty! She spends the time to get to know you and listen verse telling you what she thinks your hair should look like, like most! I love her heart,I will never go to another stylist! I haven’t had a bad cut or color under her watchful eye! Not to mention I now feel so empowered to understand my curly hair and how truly authentic I am! Would highly recommend her to anyone!
