We have been going to Micheals for almost 25 years. The service is great, All of the beauticians are highly trained and treat you like family. Highly recommend.

Angie did and extensive job on my hair and was super cute all the time. But they didn't have enough blue dye so they had to go elsewhere and it was obviously of better quality (different tone btw). The work cost 200 dollars, it was not what I wanted, it was what they could do. If I knew in which other salon they got the other blue dye, I would prefer to go there. 😪

I drive an hour and a half to get my hair done here. The prices are very fair. Tina always makes my hair look great, and she's an awesome soul to know. There's a good vibe in Michaels. I Love to see and talk to Angie & mama Lydia too!

I was just in there about an hour ago for a bang trim. When I say I'm embarrassed for people to see my hair, I don't even want to step out of my house till it grows out. I even went to another salon after to see if it can be fixed but unfortunately itll have to grow out before anything can be done to fix it. I had Rick and asked him how long he's been cutting hair. He said 30 years. Tell me why he doesn't know the simple rule of that when you cut wet hair it shrinks about an inch. I showed him pictures of how my hair was before and how I wanted it less full, but cut a smidge above my eyebrow. This was my first time coming in to this salon. Thankfully hats exist so I can cover this up till it grows out

I went to Michael's Hair Designers for the first time and I am glad that I did. I have PTSD so it is a struggle for me to go to new places and be around people, especially when I don't know them. But I lucked out and got an appointment with Angie who was super friendly and attentive. She did a beautiful job cutting and styling my hair. I will absolutely be going back.

My Child was in the salon on Saturday the 11th. Im not sure of the name of the butcher who cut their hair. However it looks so bad that they are embarrassed to go back to school. Because they are ashamed of their hairstyle. I’ve never seen such a terrible haircut. Accept for someone who was a student in their first week. That guy owes my child an apology!

Absolutely loved my experience at this salon. I hadn't cut my hair for over 3years and it was awesome they were as excited as I was to make a change. The attitude of the people that work there is super friendly. The price is reasonable also. I will definitely go back and recommend this establishment to anyone who wants a stylish new look !

I sent my daughter in to get a cut, style, and dye. She had nothing but amazing things to say about the location and the staff! She said everyone treated her with respect and like a friend. Conveniently located in the adorable Macomb downtown, this salon is convenient as well!! Taking just a little over an hour, as expected, the price was more than fair. She looks amazing and loves her new look. Thank you so much for you’re great job!! Now to get my son over for a cut…

Friendly staff who listen to your ideas and will help steer you in the right direction. If you choose a style that just won't work with your hair, they will let you know instead of just doing it and making you hate it. They LISTEN to what you want and will do their best to make it happen.

I went to get a haircut for the first time in 4 years, I had 12 inches cut off and my stylist did absolutely phenomenal! She listened to what I wanted and was super friendly. I will definitely be back to see her when I need more done!
