I wasn't satisfied with the cut and color from a previous stylist, so I reached out to redo my hair. Erin kindly scheduled me an appointment. During my visit with Michael and Erin to address my hair and color, I found Michael to be exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. He not only corrected my hair and color but also offered valuable tips. Despite the higher cost compared to other places, the quality of service with Michael and Erin makes it worthwhile. I'll certainly return for their expertise.

Michael and his staff bring Newbury Street to the South Shore! He and his staff are highly skilled stylists. I travel a bit and everywhere I go, I receive compliments on my color and cut : )

Chris Bray, who works out of Michael Albor's Salon, is an amazing beauticien when it comes to lash extensions. She is very patient and precise in her application of the lashes and uses her artistic skills to create the look most becoming to her client's face. And she is very accomdating in making appointments to be the most accessible to her clients. Couldn't recommend her more!

Amazing!! Such a great environment...as soon as you walk through the door n check in they ask you if they can get you anything. My hairstylist Rebecca was amazing, so polite I showed her pictures of the color and style I wanted n she hit it spot on. I would highly recommend Rebecca and the salon norwell location is the one I was at. 150% happy with my hair and the whole experience!!!

The atmosphere and Vibe of this Salon is very cute and stylish and I was super excited to find a new salon/stylist. It seemed like my stylist, Erin, knew what I wanted. But I felt kind of like she rushed through the whole process. And being a hair stylist myself, I felt like the lightener wasn't left on long enough. After the color was washed out and toned, she did olaplex which felt like it helped my dry hair which I was very happy about. I asked for the very least amount of hair to be trimmed off of my length and the very least trimmed off my layers in long layers. She only cut the length of my hair and and no layers. She told me she would cut the face framing angles after it was dry. When she dried my hair, I immediately noticed that it was way too dark in comparison to the image that I showed her of what I wanted my hair to look like. She never ended up cutting the angles and I had to ask her to trim my bangs which came out choppy. The biggest reason I felt like this session was rushed was because when she was done she just walked away from me and didn't say anything at all. Didn't show me the back of my hair with the mirror or ask me if I liked it or anything. So I went and paid the remainder of what I owed because I had purchased a Groupon for a full balayage, haircut, conditioning treatment and style. I had to pay extra for the toner and lowlights witch made the total balance out to be around $200. I still tipped her on the full amount that the service would have been without a Groupon. After I left almost immediately I called back to let them know that I was unhappy with my hair color and I would like to have it fixed. I also mentioned that I did not get a full haircut and that she only cut the length. I told the receptionist or whoever answered the phone that I felt like I was rushed through my service because I used a Groupon. She said that's not true we don't treat people who use Groupons any differently than our normal clients or something to that effect but unfortunately the next available appointment to have my hair fixed isn't until December 6th so until then the Loft Salon will have 3 stars from me. And that is mostly due to the friendly staff and trendy welcoming atmosphere. If I am happy with the outcome of the redo of my balayage I will happily change the review to five star's. Also, in order for me to not have to pay for my redo it has to be with the same stylist so I'm hoping that she is not going to be bitter about the fact that I did not like my hair and I am coming back to have it fixed. Here's to hoping.

I saw Erin for hair extensions. I was happy to find someone who was up to date with the latest hair extension technology. With all the options available, she helped me choose the “looped in “. She carefully matched the color. After an hour and one half I left with the look I was trying to achieve. I’m thrilled with my hair and happy to know they won’t Cause any damage.

The Loft did an amazing job yesterday with styles and color for my family. The staff is very professional and kind. The Loft now has four new customers age 2-62 years old. Special thank you to Rebecca for great cuts and color for my ladies. And to Taylor for a most handsome cut for my lord. Merry Christmas 🎁

I followed Kris Getchel Pavao to this salon. I have been going to her for years because she does an exceptional job. I have gone to other places close to my home for convenience in the past and received really bad colors and cuts. I always return to Kris to fix it.
