As a transgender person, it’s hard for me to feel comfortable when it comes to massages due to my body issues. However, I was visiting from California on vacation and decided to treat myself. The entire experience was amazing. I got email and text reminders for my appointments, which were super helpful since I am just visiting. Lauren is amazing and I highly recommend a session with her. We discussed exactly what I needed, working from home has taken a toll on my neck, shoulders, and back, and so that’s what we focused on. Lauren worked tirelessly for 60 minutes and found the trouble spots very quickly. Throughout the session, Lauren checked in to make sure that I felt comfortable and even asked for permission when pulling the sheet down to work on my shoulders. I feel so relaxed and my head is so much clearer. Thanks so much Lauren, I’ll be back when I’m in town again! Added bonuses, which I was not expecting were the hot towels and my choice of scent for the massage.

I'm very particular when it comes to a massage so when I found Lauren Purdin, I was hooked. I've been getting massages from Lauren for over 3 years and could not be happier. She customizes your massage to what your needs are at each visit. She loves what she does and takes pride in her work. I highly recommend her.

My massage with Lauren was outstanding! First the ambience was very calming, she always checked in with me to ensure that I was comfortable and would adjust her pressure accordingly when requested. A very comfortable cozy place for the community. I love their co-work hours - a great atmosphere to work in and get to know other entrepreneurs and wellness practitioners. I also enjoyed the meditation class. I'm so glad I found this place.

I am a massage and reiki therapist and have built my practice at The Metta Center. I am very grateful to the owners for opening their doors to practitioners like myself and giving us a beautiful space to work independently in for a reasonable rental fee. Booking my sessions is easy, the space is always clean, the practitioners and owners are delightful. I highly recommend Metta to other LMTs looking for a place to start their practice.

I feel really comfortable at the Metta Center. The class on Marketing with Joran a 4 part series that I am taking. Joran's deep knowledge on the topic helpful. Also his years of personal experience in the marketing feild. He presents the information in a way that is interactive and interesting.

Jennifer and Joran, the owners of the Metta Center (but not just "owners"-they are multi-talented individuals who work as healers, teachers, and so much more), are such wonderful people, and they genuinely care about making the world a better, more loving place. The Metta Center of St. Petersburg- which I was fortunate enough to be a part of from its opening (as a wellness room-renting practitioner/LMHC)-is a reflection of their welcoming loving-kindness. I am so grateful that I had such a peaceful, inviting, and LGBTQ+ affirming environment where my practice was able to grow and thrive. Thank you, Joran and Jennifer, not only for helping me grow my practice, but also for touching lives and making a difference in the world.

This was awesome for me. Joran and all the guys were really Present for the unique expression of masculinity everyone brought and for where everyone was at. A healing and enlightening experience on many levels. I'm excited for it to continue to creatively evolve and grow.
