Jen has been doing my hair for almost 15 years! I've been with her since her beginning and will be with her until my end. I get so many compliments on my hair, especially the color. The experience is always enjoyable, and I highly recommend both her and Lauren. They are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I know my hair is in safe hands at MELT.

I trust jen with my hair completely. Every time I leave I feel so good not only from the great work on my hair but just by how caring and kind she (and lauren) are! I love having someone I can trust completely and where I can go relax knowing at the end of the appt my hair will be exactly what I was wanting (oftentimes even better). True professional and all around kind and friendly person!

I’ve been going to Jen for blonding for almost three years and every single time I leave even more in love with my hair! Her technique is so good that my hair still looks amazing even with months of grow out. Not only is she an incredible hair stylist but her salon is insanely fun! She and Lauren are the best people ever and I always have the best time at my appointments. I’m so grateful I found Jen on Instagram and I will honestly be going to her for as long as she is offering her services. I couldn’t recommend Jen and her salon more.

When debating if you should book with melt let this review be your deciding factor! Melt is not only a hair salon it’s a place where fun and laughter thrive! I’ve never left this salon unsatisfied! Can’t say enough great things about Jen and MELT. I have been seeing her for over 5 years and she will never be able to get rid of me. There’s not many places where you walk in and feel so welcomed and can tell her to “do whatever you want” and it comes out perfect every time. Can’t recommend her enough!!

I absolutely loved my hair and learned so much about techniques, what products to get and how to make my hair healthier. I wanted a low maintenance color and it’s gorgeous!! Vibes in the Salon are great and snacks were a nice bonus while being there for so long! Thanks again Lauren!

I recently visited Melt Salon and had an amazing experience with stylist Lauren Burkhardt. From the moment I walked in, I loved the welcoming and chic vibe of the salon. Lauren truly listened to my hair goals and took the time to clearly communicate her plan to achieve them. She is super kind, very considerate, and an absolute hair expert! Jen and Lauren are the best!! I have extensions and just moved to st Pete, my first time there they took time and a lot of care into fixing the health of my hair and scalp. They made me feel welcome and my hair looks and feels amazing after they finished!

I cannot say enough good things about this salon! I came into the salon traumatized from a botched hair job from a different salon. Lauren and Jen welcomed me with open arms and assured me I was in good hands. Not only did Lauren take her time to analyze my hair and what our next steps should be to get to my goal, but she educated me every single step of the way. Making me feel comfortable and trusting of her process. I came into the salon and sat her chair with hair that was ratty, choppy, and extremely brassy, wayyy off tone. After talking with Lauren about a plan to get my hair to its optimal health and color, I left the salon today with glossy, shiny bouncy, gorgeous rich hair and a perfect plan for my future visits. I can’t thank lauren and Jen enough for making me feel at home in their salon, and I cannot wait to continue my hair journey at Melt !

I have been going to Jen and Lauren at Melt since moving to the St. Pete area. I have natural dark blonde hair and always brighten it up to a light blonde. This past hair appointment I went about 6-7 months and the growth at the roots looked as natural as could be. I would mention to friends that I needed to get my hair done and they were surprised at how long it had been since I did because it looked so good still! Very lucky to have found Melt. Jen does such a great job explaining what she is doing and the products/styling she uses on my hair so I can replicate at home. Ive been obsessed with their products and love how curated everything is. Love it here!

10/10 recommend!! I see Lauren at Melt and right off the bat I could tell she was going to seamlessly execute the vision I had for my hair — which she nailed. I love that she really understood the color and style I was going for by asking me all the right questions and referencing some inspo pics. Super cool, friendly, and informative the whole time, it felt like the quickest hair appointment ever. I could not have been happier when I saw the final result— the color and style was exactly what I envisioned in my head. Lauren’s the GOAT. Highly recommend Melt!

I came here to share the amazing-ness of Lauren. I spent 4 hours in her chair while she worked her magic to get me back to my blonde self. She took her time to really understand what I was looking to achieve, and let me tell you, she achieved it! It is really tough moving somewhere new and trying to find a stylist, but boy am I lucky to have found Lauren. Cannot recommend her and Melt Salon enough. These two ladies are such a vibe! I came to Jen with some crazy highlights happening in my hair- a lot of stylists don't know how to color a brunette without making us feel too blonde. Jen was able to give me beautiful dimension without making me feel like my color was too light or overdone. Since our first appointment together my hair is longer and more healthy than it's ever been! I also love that she has cruelty free products available for retail- Mr. Smith, Cult + King, and Davines have changed my hair for the better. She is also absolutely hilarious and so much fun to be around. Coming to her salon is such a joy every single time- she is worth every penny! I will be a client for life!

I’ve been going to Jen for a few years now and my hair has never looked better. She can achieve your hair goals without a doubt. I have had some hair trauma from other stylists which can make getting my hair done a scary experience, but Jen had gotten me through all of that. I always leave so happy and I know I can trust her to maintain the integrity of my hair and make my hair look flawless. Lauren is also so amazing and I’m so happy she joined the Melt team. Jen and Lauren at MELT are incredible. I would recommend this salon to anyone. I am an incredibly picky blonde and they gave me the best balayage of my life — it’s natural, lived-in and exactly what I wanted. You can tell they put so much care into the experience of their clients, this is the best salon in St Pete!

Jen is an absolute hair magician, a true artist and she cares about the long term healthiness AND beauty of your hair! I went to Jen with extremely damaged, over colored and broken hair from my previous stylist. I had an idea of what I wanted and Jen was very clear that getting there would take time so that we didn't damage my hair even more. She's turned me into a very MELTY blonde and I absolutely love it!! My hair has grown out where it was previously broken, the color is so gorgeous and natural, it's thick again and I get so many complements on it! I'm thankful to have found Jen and Lauren!

Last week was my first time visiting Melt and also my first time having my hair professionally colored in a salon. Jen really took the time to get to know my hair goals and her attention to detail went above and beyond my expectations. MELT has saved me since moving to St Pete. I struggled to find a place that could do color and cut my hair the way it should be done.
