I cannot rave enough about my experience with Melissa at MD Optimal Health & Aesthetics! From the moment I walked into her office, I knew I was in the hands of a true professional. Melissa is an incredibly talented toxin injector—she has such an eye for detail and a true artistry when it comes to Botox and other injectables. I recently tried Doxxify toxin with her, and I was absolutely amazed at how quickly it kicked in. The results were flawless, and I looked fresh and rejuvenated just in time for a fall wedding and my 20-year high school reunion! The difference was subtle yet incredibly noticeable—I felt like I was glowing! Melissa pays such close attention to where she injects, ensuring that every area is tightened and lifted exactly as needed. She knows exactly how to customize the treatment to each client’s individual features and goals, and the results were far beyond what I’ve experienced with other injectors in the past. It’s clear that her expertise in this field is top-notch; the results were far superior to anything I’ve had done elsewhere. In addition to Botox, I also tried PRX treatments with Melissa, and wow! The results were outstanding. After completing the regimen, my skin was noticeably lighter, tighter, and brighter—it looked so refreshed and healthy. My skin became more even-toned, and my sun damage spots improved drastically. The treatment also plumped my skin, significantly reduced the appearance of years of acne scars, and lightened sun damage considerably. Melissa’s PRX treatment also worked wonders on my melasma, helping to reduce it greatly. After seeing these amazing results, I honestly feel like I look 10 years younger—or more! It’s incredible how much of a difference this treatment made in my overall appearance, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Melissa Donelson did a beautiful job on my cheeks and lip filler! I am a plastic surgeon in Chevy Chase and she did my filler 4 days ago. She has a gentle touch, uses all the latest techniques and filler materials and was able to make my lips look younger with improved shape without too much volume. She made my under eye hollows disappear and the cheeks fuller and natural looking. I highly recommend her!!

Melissa’s salon offers a beautiful, peaceful, and restful environment. She is a knowledgeable and skilled nurse practitioner. I saw her for the ‘Glow up’ facial. Afterwards my skin felt wonderful! At work the next day, co-workers were very complimentary. One even stated, “I don’t know what you did, but your face is glowing today.” I highly recommend Melissa! Melissa is the best! She truly cares, and she has the knowledge and experience to back it up! I go to her primarily for hair loss prevention. We had done PRP previously at a different location together. When she opened up her own practice, I was happy to follow her. In complete control of her offerings, she felt that Procell was even a better option for hair loss based on her research. I trusted her medical thought process layered with her experience. So far, I am noticing the same results as PRP (much less hair loss) with far less pain and significant less monetary cost -- a huge win! Because of my great experience with her for hair loss, I now have started Botox procedures with Melissa. My only complaint is that I wish I had started earlier! It's amazing! She makes me feel very comfortable - answering all my questions and explaining everything to me in layman's terms. She's always researching and investigating the best of the industry/newest technology options of her clients.
