Delina is a brunettes specialists and she truly is worth every penny! Her work speaks for itself, my hair looks and feels amazing. It looks so soft and natural! Her assistant Brooke is also so sweet. They are such a fun duo. I’m usually a control freak with my hair but I kinda just told her ideas of what I wanted but ultimately I let her do her own thing, and as you can see it turned out beautifully. I was in at 11:00 and gone by 12:30. I feel that anyone who does brunettes needs to be a specialist at it so you don’t leave the salon looking brassy and orange! It is so hard to find people who really know how to do dark hair! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a specialist!

Megan Brantley is an actual lifesaver. I had a bad experience at another salon prior to reaching out to Megan, and needed my extensions fixed. She fixed the issues, worked quickly & efficiently, and I had the best time through the entire process. I left the salon feeling SO confident with my hair & I'm so grateful for her. 10/10 recommend.

Megan did an amazing job on my hair color to blonde. She made sure it was exactly the tone I wanted and was very thorough throughout the process making sure my hair would not be damaged despite me having previous dye on it. She has a vibrant personality that made me feel comfortable during the processing. I would highly recommend her!

Cannot say enough about the amazing culture and vibe at this salon, how they help each other and make guests feel welcomed - and how they are truly experts in their craft. I was lucky enough to be paired with Dasha who far exceeded what I asked for, and after spending the day with her for my long hair coloring process (I have a ton of hair) I can tell you she is an amazing person with the best heart and truly an artist - my hair goals were achieved and I have zero damage which is not typical! I haven't done anything for myself in a long time and she made the experience so much fun and I truly enjoyed hanging out with her and getting pampered at the same time. She's worth every penny and then some. My sister now wants to see her too. Highly recommend!

Had a good experience up until recently. I got a balayage with money pieces done, was pretty happy with how it came out. A few days later I noticed my roots (much lighter than the base color) started to show through. I texted my stylist, said it was an easy fix and to come in. I contacted her, two other stylists, and the salon itself and no one will get back to me to simply "fix" what I just paid for. Thanks for ghosting me Maven and Mane! I'll have to find another salon to "fix" the $340 service I just paid for.

Stevie’s talent is evident, but what sets her apart is her patience and the genuine listening skills to what you have, want, and ultimate goals. She’s clearly a very conscientious person ethically, and professionally she’s amazing. Highly recommend her!!!

Big thank you to Aimee💕 I recently had surgery that has been limiting my mobility & only had a small window of time before going into rehab to heal. I really appreciated Aimee accommodating to my schedule to get me in salon. Not only did she re-install an IBE weft in record time, but the quality of her work was phenomenal. She insured my row was high enough to last through my recovery period gracefully! Other positives: the salon itself is gorgeous & well kept. They use Oribe products (also for sale). The booking process was quick, with the ability to reach your desired stylist. Thanks again Maven & Mane, you made me feel a little more like myself during a time I didn’t think I could.

I recently moved to Sarasota from NY and was extremely nervous to try a new place to get my hair colored, as many feel the same. Well, I am so happy I took the chance with Maven and Mane! Leah is amazing and did a fantastic job with highlighting my hair. She is so nice, professional, and a pro with blonde hair! She brought my hair back to life. I will definitely be back!

I am in Sarasota from out of town and have been in there twice to purchase Oribe products. The first time no one was in the front area and I had to search for an employee, not a huge deal. The second time there was once again no one at the front desk. There were three stylists working on customers in the front area, not one said “welcome in” or “we will be with you in a minute”. I got my product and waited at the counter and all three continued to ignore me. I chose to leave rather then approach any of them, I get that they are probably by appointment only or by booth rent so only care about their client. But if that’s the case they need an associate responsible for the front desk and phone, or at least take turns covering it. Poor business technique and customer service skills.

I just moved to Florida recently and was super nervous to find a new stylist that does my extensions but I am so glad that i found Dasha at maven and mane! From the consultation to the installation of the hair everything was very professional. I am wearing extensions for over 10 years and I can say this is the best hair I ever had installed! The color is perfect, it’s super smooth and easy to take care of. Plus Dasha is the sweetest girl and I am so glad that she convinced me to switch from k-tips to their secret beaded weft method. Thank you Dasha ❤️

UPDATE: In response to the owners comments of my review, I stand 100% behind my negative review. Her comments were not accurate and she was not at the salon at the time. Your stylist spent several minutes trying to sell me other products including hair extensions. I find it quite odd that she had time to do hair extensions if I wanted them, but not time to color the regrowth & cut, which is all I wanted. The miscommunication we had was that I did not want to purchase additional products and I did not want hair extensions. I have natural curly and wavy hair which definitely gets frizzy this time of year, but only the ends of my hair were damaged and needed to be cut. Your stylist wasted my time since she told me on the phone she had plenty of time to perform the services I requested. Further miscommunication on the part of your stylist, was the fact that she explained how exactly she planned to proceed in two weeks, (which incidentally, she said she wasn’t available until then because it was going to take 4 to 5 hours). I most definitely questioned her about the time she would require, because I’ve had my regrowth highlighted with haircut, hundreds of times throughout my life, and it has never taken 4 to 5 hours. Additionally, the amount of hair she cut in the five minutes it took her to do it, was not worth the $65 plus tip, which came to $80. I hope you will use this review as a LEARNING TOOL, instead of trying to indicate how the client was in the wrong. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was referred to the salon by another salon because I was looking to have my new growth dark roots bleached to match the rest of my hair, and the salon that I had initially called, was unable to fit me in before I had to go out of town. After my consultation with the stylist, she said that she didn’t have time to color my roots, ( I was very disappointed since that’s the only reason I went to the salon). My hair had some bleach damage on the ends, so I asked her if she could perform a dusting, which is when A very small amount is cut from just the damage ends. This only took a few minutes, but I was charged the full $80 price for a haircut, (At the time I was OK with this since we had a game plan going forward, and I even tipped her over 20%). Per The stylist, I was return in two weeks, (she said she was booked until then), and get my new growth bleached, so that I could continue with my gray hair blending. Two days after my visit, I received a text saying that the stylist spoke with the owner, and they decided that I should wait SEVERAL MONTHS before getting my new growth roots colored, and that my appointment was canceled. Needless to say, I was shocked at the unprofessionalism that this company displayed. I went to another salon and they were able to give me a wonderful cut and colored my roots as needed. My hair is healthy, shiny and bouncy, and there’s absolutely no reason why Maven & Mane would need to make me wait several month, before they could color my new growth roots. Ridiculously unprofessional, and I do NOT recommend this salon for any professional hair service.

If you want your dream hair go to megan! she’s the absolute best!! She has completely exceeded my expectations and made my dream hair a reality. Not only does she actually listen to want you want she goes over every detail to make sure everyone is on the same page and happy. I can confidently say i have found my hairstylist for life! The atmosphere at Maven and Mane is top notch, everyone is happy and so easy to chat with. I’ve never had more fun in a salon before and i’ve never been happier with my hair

I’ve never been happier with my hair! I’ve been to several salons looking for the right person to give me the perfect blonde. I saw Caroline and she was AMAZING! She took her time listening to what I liked, and what I didn’t like. My hair is absolutely perfect. I haven’t left a salon liking my hair in a long time. I left Maven & Mane loving my hair and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Thank you Caroline!

Had my first visit to Maven and Mane today and had an appt. with Stevie. The salon is beautiful and a total relax and chill vibe. From the booking process throughout the appt Stevie was very responsive and thorough. I had a mix of colors in my hair and Stevie gave me a few options on how to best get the desired look I wanted. She was so patient explaining the processes and took her time through the appt. I left feeling so happy I finally made the appt after waiting for too long. If you are looking for a refresh , a change , a beautiful cut or something new give Stevie a try she totally rocked it !

So happy I found this salon and Paige! She made my blonde dreams a reality. After seeing colorists at other salons, my hair was never bright, always looked a bit dull. Part of me thought maybe my hair changed over the years and I wouldn’t ever get pretty golden locks again. Paige rescued me! My hair color is so pretty and I could not be happier. I feel like she completely revived it. She also gave a thorough consultation and set real expectations, which I love because I’m seeing a trained color specialist for a reason. Highly recommend Paige!

I saw Leah for hair extension blowouts and color. I now have breakage all along the front and my front hairs are only an inch long. I also called in ahead of time before my appointment to let them know I was throwing up from pregnancy and will not be able to make it in. The owner then told me I will be charged a full $500 for the service I am not coming to.
