The services are fine... My therapist called out and instead of saying sorry they called out they just rescheduled my appointment without saying I would be with someone else. I try and stay with the same therapist and if I was told I would have someone else I wouldn't of accepted the appointment. Nothing wrong with the therapist I had but with the front desk operations.

Changing my review 7/9/24. This place is awful and a scam, BEWARE!! They sign you up for a membership that they don’t tell you any details about, give no notice that the membership doesn’t auto-renew, and doesn’t tell you that any credits you have accumulated goes away when your membership does, so I paid at least $210 plus a $10 transfer fee to give one to my husband FOR NOTHING. OF COURSE they don’t tell you, it’s free and easy money! The front desk is rude and barely knows their job most the time, the turnover rate for their sub par masseuses and estheticians is astounding and now I know why. Oh and the massages are NOT 60 minutes they are 50, which they don’t tell you, but then the masseuse starts late and ends early and you end up with a 42 minute massage. AWFUL! I PRAY your business crashes.

Bryce is great! I go to Bryce for stretch therapy and craniosacral massage. He is excellent at both. I docked one star because MassageEnvy does not notify clients when their appointment is canceled. The client has to show up for the appointment to find out there isn't one. It's infuriating.

I don’t like posting bad reviews and typically like to give second chances to make it right. However, I do not recommend becoming a member of the Exton location of Massage Envy. I have had several excuses for several cancellations from them and it has gotten way beyond frustrating! On appointments that have been scheduled for months, I have been told people are no longer there, but called me back two days later telling me the person was back but that they still had nothing available for several weeks, so members do not get any preferential treatment! The new excuse today for an appointment scheduled two months ago to take the place of the people no longer there excuse is because the facial person needs a lunch hour and they just have no idea who scheduled it that way! By the way, not my problem! Then I was told no appointments available with the same person until way after Easter. They treat you like it is your fault that they cannot accommodate you. It seems to be that members get the bottom of the barrel as far as service and commitment on appointments. My son purchased this membership for me as a Christmas gift and I am unable on a monthly basis to use it for one of massage envy’s excuses or another; but meanwhile they continue to charge his card for the services that I cannot use. They were a good idea in the beginning but no longer live up to their past reputation. I will be cancelling the remainder of my membership tomorrow, which i hate to do because I love my masseuse there that I use, but sadly can never get in to use my membership benefits with him!

This is hands down the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I signed up for an annual membership. During the membership, I was not happy with the service bc they did not have enough female massage therapists and the male therapists were unprofessional as if they had walked off the street. I did not feel comfortable and went a few occasions to king of Prussia location instead. When it came time for the membership to expire, they told me that I was automatically signed up for auto renew and that I could not cancel auto renew unless I signed a paper in front of the manager in person. I went to the exton location and filled out the required paperwork to not auto renew my membership but they told me I couldn’t get confirmation that day because it was too early and because a manager was not present. They said a manager would call me to confirm cancellation. Finally the manager Amanda O’Donnell called me and said they removed the auto renew. I could use my remaining credits through the next several months. When I went online to make an appointment, I got an error that my account was suspended. I called the office and they did not allow me to make an appointment or use my remaining credits until I made a payment. Again, confused bc I had paid through my membership and I still had unused credits. I understand giving people a hard time when they no longer want to use your service. What I did not expect was being robbed of the credits I still had to use and being lied to by the manager and the front desk regarding my account status. The times I called I spoke with Andrea and Adrianna at the front desk who were rude and unhelpful. The manager who told me I had credits and then suspended my account is Amanda O’Donnell. Please explain to me the message she sent me below and now my account is suspended and I cannot use my credits? This place is a joke. The front desk and management staff are a joke. You robbed me of my membership balance and you’re not a trustworthy establishment. No one should do business with people who refuse to let you out of an EXPIRED agreement Good morning, Jasmine I wanted to reach out to you and let you know the auto renew was shut off for your account as requested. I would strongly discourage anyone from joining ME’s monthly membership. As a nurse and mom of 3 I joined to try and take care of myself. I have been a member for several years. Although the massages were usually pretty good I have noticed that within the last year my appointments have been cancelled more frequently. I made the decision to cancel my membership in December of 2023. I went in to submit cancellation paperwork on 12/6/23 and was told it would be processed within 10 business days. That timeframe came and went with no communication from ME. I called to follow up on 12/28/23 and was told that they had never received any paperwork. After multiple frustrating phone calls and having to resubmit the paperwork I was finally given the email of the regional manager, who finally processed the cancellation. Since that time I have scheduled appointments to use my remaining credits before their expiration date of March 8, 2024. My appointment in January was cancelled due to staff illness which I accepted without complaint. This week I was called and told that all of my other appointments were being cancelled because the therapist I scheduled with no longer works there. No alternatives within the March 8th window were offered, nor any other solution. I was told a manager would call me the next day, they didn’t. When I called to follow up I was told the manager wasn’t available and they would “try to remember” to call me back. They didn’t. It took 3 more phone calls during which I was hung up on, blatantly lied to, and informed that they didn’t know the name of or how to get in touch with their manager. After two emails to said manager, I still have heard nothing. The total lack of knowledge, consideration, and communication by the management of this franchise and their staff has been unbelievable. I would not recommend them to anyone. They claim to provide a means of self care, but I’ve never had to work harder in my life.

Ariel, the manager, helped arrange a last minute massage for my mom while she was visiting for her birthday. Aside from that, she and her staff are always welcoming and kind. Everyone has such great personalities... I love just chatting with them when I'm in. Also, Danielle is a dream for facials!

Don’t come here. They, apparently, don’t need your business. I put in three requests for membership information over the course of a week and never heard back. I, also, put one in for another location and heard back almost immediately. Though a little further from me, they earned my business with great customer service.

Hello, We had an incident today with my appointment due to the illness of my massage therapist who collapsed and fainted during my massage, Mr. Bryce Adams collapsed to the floor, hitting his head on the door, blocking the exit. I was able to move him and call for help which came right away from the receptionist and another therapist. The receptionist immediately called 911 and they arrived quickly to help Mr. Adams who was very pale and diaphoretic. The other therapist and I (I am a nurse) were able to get him on to the table as he tried to stand. He was very faint each time he tried to stand. The staff were exceptional and responded well. Mr. Adams was obviously ill and they were concerned about their co worker. THe massage up to the point of Mr. Adams collapse was excellent, his approach was highly professional and individualized. And I felt it was making a difference on my upper back, the area that we had determined was the focus for today’s treatment. While it was very unusual, I felt safe and supported by all and I hope that Mr. Adams recovers quickly. Thank you. Eileen Sullivan-Marx

Honestly i don’t know where to start, but I just gotta say that Gina is ahead of the game. She is so detailed , organized, an expert with skin knowledge and product knowledge. She is so kind and very helpful. During my facial she is the type of person who will make you feel so comfortable and so relaxed. She really cares about her clients and would make the experience so special. I walk out feeling amazing and soo relaxed. If you need help with direction and something to help you achieve your goals; she is the person to go to and will never fail you. I had a massage and microdermabrasion facial @ the Exton location. I knew when booking that it was pretty expensive, but I was treating myself. The massage was mediocre. The facial (this is my fault for not researching more) was crazy expensive for the 20 minute session- almost $200. I had no idea it was such a quick process and didn’t include an actual facial. The only way to pay a reasonable fee is to become a member… but the services were not something I was happy enough with to regularly attend- so it’s a real Catch 22. Ordinarily I wouldn’t write a review to complain- it’s not really my style- but on my way out the manager quite literally tsk’d me and said “well you’re certainly spending a pretty penny” while she took the membership placard and plopped it down in front of me. It was so aggressive. Will not be returning!

I have been a regular here for a bit and I must sing the praises of the staff. They are attentive and thoughtful. Booking is smooth, and cancelling or rescheduling has been easy when needed. The first time I booked here I happened to book with George for a massage and I have requested him everytime since. He is kind and caring, and creates a gentle environment. Through communication and his inquiry we've been able to address both long-term and short-term problem spots, and my overall quality of life is better for it.

I have been going to this location for a little over a year and here are some takeaways! Lori is an amazing esthetician and I loved every facial I have received from her. She is so thoughtful and makes me feel comfortable. Jonathan is a phenomenal massage therapist! He made me feel comfortable throughout the session. He exudes such kind energy and created a very safe space for me. Last but not least, there has been some changes to management and I cannot be more pleased! :) If you have any questions about which service will work for you, I would not hesitate to contact the front desk who will be more than happy to answer your questions. Very nice franchise. It was clean and well stocked in the bathroom which has not been the case in two other M.E.s I"ve been to. The manager, Arielle was terrific. Very helpful and welcoming. My masseur was Bryce who I very highly recommend. He's one of the few therapists who performs Cranial Sacral massage and really helped me out with arthritis pain in my cervical discs. Excellent experience all together. Thank you all!
