I travel to Marilyn’s hair salon from the north to the south because no one can do my hair the best. The staff here are friendly and the price is right. Very affordable prices with good service.

If you are African American with natural hair this is NOT the place for you. I came here for a deep condition, trim and blowout. Rosa was the stylist that did my hair. She was a nice lady but had no idea what she was doing. She was very rough while washing my hair and did not know how to detangle it. Since it was not properly detangled it was difficult to blow it out. Multiple times she burned me on accident while doing my hair. I told the receptionist about my experience and informed her I would never come back. Before the appointment I asked if they know how to do natural hair and was told yes they can. It is a disservice to say you can do natural hair when it is far from the truth. I advised the receptionist to not allow Rosa to do anyone else with natural hair because it is evident she cannot properly do it and does harm to the customer. My experience and others with natural hair who left a review about Rosa, shows she should not be doing African American natural hair. Allow it to be a warning before booking. When I got home I noticed my hair was not trimmed properly and my hair suffered severe heat damage. I now have to cut my hair. I cried so much. Please do not go here. If you decide to book an appointment and you are African American with natural hair, do not allow Rosa to do your hair. She is a sweet woman but she doesn’t know how to do our hair. I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to so no one else makes the same mistake as I did.

not the best. I’m only speaking from my perspective someone who has course hair I would not return to save my course haired ladies the trip. My hair felt greasy not bouncy when I left and my roots were still course. They got the job done but this doesn’t look or feel like a Dominican blow out. Honestly feels like i got my hair done at a Walmart or by one of my aunties. i urgently needed my hair done for a dinner and they got me in but I left disappointed. Maybe they are better for someone who doesn’t have textured hair.

Everyone was very welcoming. Jada made me feel very comfortable. She answered all my questions and explained with care even the simplest questions putting me at ease. Very pleased with everything!

I got a spiral rod set by Kina! I'm very happy with the results. I'll be back. This was my 3rd or 4th service here. Great customer service and stylists.

I got a silk press from Jada and she was great. My hair is straight as can be and we even talked my coloring my hair in August and what would look good without bleaching. Booking my door now.

Hi, my daughter and I received services from this salon on Saturday. I normally wouldn't write a review but my daughter was so upset when she left. We both requested the Dominican blowout with a trim. The wash/ condition was ok but the style was awful. She styled a 19 yr old like a granny. And my daughter told the stylist that. She told her I'm sorry but your hair is so short. I asked her do you not accommodate people with short natural hair. If you know you can not provide the service than just be honest with the client. If you have short natural hair this isn't the place for you in my opinion.

This establishment is well kept and very professional. The lady's are so welcoming and excepting, Yaima was my stylist and will be for a long time she is very skilled at her craft. I have a sensitive scalp when it comes to heat and I didn't feel any discomfort get a blowout or my hair flat iron. Yaima helps promote healthy hair and that is my number one goal. This establishment is well equipped and the lady's hete are well versed in their craft. I highly recommend all natural hair candidates go and receive the best hair care experience and more from this establishment. Yaima is such an angel she's such a divine being thank you for taking care of me. See you soon!

Yaima is the best. Yaima is always professional and displays GREAT customer service every time. She gives me great advice about a style, what products she's using in my hair and how I can maintain and manage my hair. If you're looking for a hairstylist she's your to go person.

I really enjoy the service here. Jada was fantastic! She is super friendly and did amazing on my hair. I definitely recommend this hair salon and if you can book with her I'm sure you will be just as pleased as I was 😀. Cash tips are the best.

I went here for a silk press and left with almost 2 inches of my hair cut off! I just wish stylist understood the difference between a trim and a cut ! I live in atl and was here in Florida visiting for the holidays! I came to this salon and my hair wasn’t even silk press I could do a better job …

Ms. Angela did a excellent job just didn't like that one of her co workers was trying to stop her from conducting her business. I don't mind her doing a walk in I was under the dryer. She was done way before I got from under the dryer. But well done Ms.Angela 10/13/2023 After I went back cause Ms. Angela did a good job. But this time it was a different lady she didn't know what she was doing two weeks later my hair still look exactly liked it looked before I went in. Dreadlocks a no no don't go to them.

Horrible, horrible experience, I simply asked to cut my hair straight. Her name is Rosa or something like this. She cut them horribly and not even. When she washed my hair she was scratching my scalp so bad with her nails. No gloves. Reception is very poor. I called and asked to make an appointment with one lady, but when I walked in they gave me who ever was available. It’s the worst experience in my life. And cherry on top, she added all those creams and sprays a lot, like after I left my hair looked dirty and oily. I with I could give even less then 1 star!!!!!
