I scheduled an appointment with Ms. Loretta for a silk press. I was very displeased with the service. What upset me the most was that I did not receive the style I asked for, however, I did receive a haircut that I did not ask for. I did agree to her trimming less than an inch of my hair, but instead she cut several inches. When I expressed my displeasure and refused to let her continue, she actually raised her voice to me sit back down and let her finish. When I refused and asked her to let me pay so I could leave, she tells me she doesn't accept credit or debit, even though a sign in the lobby says it is accepted. I had to walk with her across the street to the dollar store to get cash back. At this point, she had an attitude and acted very nasty towards me. She also expected me to pay the full $60. Because I was not satisfied, I refused. She suggested $50, because of "all the work" she put in on my hair. She did a poor job washing, drying, and straightening my hair. Finally she says $40 is the lowest she would go, and I agreed. When the cashier handed me my cash back, Ms. Loretta already had her hand out and snatched the money. She walked out of the store without another word to me and went back to the salon. The service was very poor. She was very rude and unprofessional, and the owner, Ms. Patricia, was no help. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. This was definitely my worst salon experience.
