My friend turned me onto this place, been coming back ever since. Thao is great, super friendly, and does a great job. I don't even work near there anymore but it's worth the drive!

UPDATE: In response to your reply. You were rude and unprofessional. Period! You cannot justify how you handled the situation and thinks yelling and arguing will fix the problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wish I recorded that entire thing. I have never been so embarrassed and disrespected by anyone in my life. Thao is the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I have ever encountered. Backstory: I came in to get a haircut and dye my hair completely black. The next day when I washed my hair, it faded. I thought that was normal since it was fresh. I dried my hair with a towel, and it got stained. I still thought it was normal. My pillowcase got stained as well. Then after more than three washes, my hair still bleeds back and stains my pillow and towel. Then I called Thao, the lady who did my hair. I told her what was happening with my hair, and she said I should use a different color care shampoo. So I did. It was still the same result. So I called back, and she told me she would redo my hair. Then the day of my appointment, I called to let her know that I tried washing my hair with JUST PLAIN water, but it still bled and stained. She said I kept calling her and lectured me over the phone and would give me a refund instead. I agreed. Then I went to her salon. She asked me to sit and check my hair. While doing all that, she kept lecturing me and telling me she didn't see a problem. She kept going back in circles. She was yelling in my face while there was another customer around. She told me I should not wash my hair, not use a white towel, and dry my hair. Everything she was saying was unnecessary. That was not going to stop my hair my bleeding and staining. To be clear, she offered to refund me the money because she wanted to get it over with over the phone. That did not happen. I came there. She was spraying my hair with water and was trying to replicate the stain I was saying from the towel. I've had enough and told her she should not treat me that way because I was a customer. She was so disrespectful to me, and I felt bullied. So I had enough, stood up, and was ready to walk up. But she won't stop yelling. I told her I would make a complaint, and she even got mad and shouted: "GO COMPLAIN." I had to leave and walked out. She kept calling me and texting me to come back. I had to block her number. There was a witness, and she SAW everything. If I could give a negative 0 review, I would. TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS: PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A TROUBLE. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. UNFORTUNATELY, MY HAIR IS STILL NOT FIXED, AND NOW I HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO GET IT REDONE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

We had a great first experience at Manhattan Hair this past Saturday! I called in the morning for an appointment that day and she was able to get us in later that day. She was just finishing up with a couple young boys when we walked in, and they looked super cute. My 8 YO daughter was up next and Thao did a Great job putting her at ease. We're both very happy with her cute little bobbed haircut! This is our go-to salon now!

I had her wax my eyebrows and she did the best job. She gave them a nice line, didn't scald me with wax that was too hot and she didn't peel the skin off my eyelids. She's got sense of humor too.
