My stylist Pattie listens to your ideas. She does not do her own thing like some stylist do. She knows how to cut natural curly hair.....which is awesome. Super nice person. Great place!

Nice clean place. Brie always does a great job on my hair and nails and not ridiculously expensive either! Update - still a great salon although Brie is not there anymore.

I first tried Mane Expressions when I moved from Bismarck to Mandan and was looking for a stylist closer to home. I got my haircut with Alyssa...it was terrible. She did not give me the cut I asked for and didn't do any texturing so it looked choppy and unfinished. I was so shocked that she was considering it 'finished' that I was bustled out the door before I realized what had happened. I was extremely unhappy, but decided to just deal with it since it was the end of a long day. A couple months later when I needed another haircut I decided to give them another try, but with a different stylist. Sam cut my hair and gave me exactly what I asked for and it was even better than what I could have hoped for! She did such an amazing job that it's the first time I went home and liked the cut even better the next day. It wasn't a fluke since she did the same fantastic job the next time I went in. She also is extremely efficient, giving me a great haircut in half the time that it takes most stylists. Now I ask for Sam every time!
