I’ve been going to Cami for my cut and toners for years now and i love her!! She was super mindful about me being hijabi and always left me with the length I love! Cami is the sweetest, she does an amazing job and I’m so glad I had found her when I moved to Houston. She has done K-tips in my hair and dyed it a few times and never lets me down, she’s the best! I wouldn’t let anyone else do my hair. 10/10 amazing experience!!!!

Cami transformed me into a new person. I highly recommend her for hair extensions. She was supper sweet and attentive and answered all my questions about how to take care of my new hair. She even curled my new hair for me since it was for my graduation. Very caring and even let me eat while she was working.

Ever since I’ve started going to her my hair is growing and healthy and when she changes my hair color she always makes sure she does it carefully to make sure less damage as possible! Cassie is an incredible stylist and a true color whisperer! She worked her magic on my thick, curly hair, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s been two months, my hair looks fantastic. From the very start, Cassie took the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and ensure we were completely aligned on my vision. I appreciated her guidance and expertise. She continuously checked in throughout the process, making me feel understood and cared for every step of the way. After a bad experience years ago, I was hesitant to color my hair again, but trusting Cassie was the best decision I could have made. I’m so glad I was able to reconnect with her - she’s given me solid hair cuts in the past. She completely restored my faith in the process, and I’m already excited about what we’ll do next. Cassie is phenomenal! She is a true expert in her craft. I have thin curly hair that is colored light blonde. She is very careful not to over-process and break my hair. She also doesn’t cut off too much which is always a problem when you have curly hair.

Chemical haircut. First picture is for reference of what my hair looked like two days before. My regular salon canceled last minute and I ended up here. Been crying on and off over the last week while I continuously lose my hair. Made worse by the fact that Cassie blamed me and my hair and sensitive scalp when I showed her what was happening instead of apologizing and admitting to over processing me. My hair is not being lost from the scalp. It’s mostly breaking where bleach overlapped. I was a hair dresser for several years and I’ve been blonde for 12 years. I only bleach retouch my hair once every three months. Some minor breakage? Sure. That goes with the territory. But I have NEVER had one issue with my hair being literally fried off or falling off in clumps. My hair still smells like chemicals a week later. During the course of five hours: My hair was bleached, shampooed, toned, shampooed, smudge root, shampooed, blow dried..When I looked in the mirror my roots were legitimately muddy grey/purple. I started shaking/tearing up and immediately said I wanted out of the chair. After going back and forth with her for several minutes she swore she could fix it..so I stayed. She then foiled and bleached it more, shampooed, toned, shampooed, smudge root, shampooed, and blow dried again. Stripped of any natural oils and over processed to hell. I believe the developer used to tone was too high as my hair is fried from root to end and when it was being applied all I could smell was ammonia/chemical. Unless she used a color stripper to get that awful mud color off of my root. Toner usually smells nice like conditioner and has very low lifting effect. After this second process my root was still super light and washed out looking. I was unhappy and she offered to make it darker…meaning she legitimately would have processed it again if I hadn’t declined. So I left..Getting it fixed the next day at my regular salon where they used deposit only color as to not cause further damage. Where they found orange bleed marks, from bleach not being washed out all the way, all over the back of my head that they had to cover up. Please do not go here for blonding until she gets more education. You cannot process hair like that and expect not to have considerable damage. You cannot process hair like that and then blame a clients blonde hair or scalp as the issue. Stripping it of all natural oils, applying chemicals over and over and over, applying heat twice, overlapping bleach. Even if your hair can take it…it shouldn’t. You are getting way more damage than is necessary. I should have got up and walked out. I knew better but I liked her as a person and felt bad for not giving her a chance to make things right. I kept talking myself out of it just like she did. I’m going to regret that every time I look in the mirror for the next couple years trying to grow out this disaster. At the very least a simple apology would have went a hell of a long way with something as absolutely devastating as this. But instead I only got refunded half of the service cost and an attempt at trying to convince me this was my fault.

Had a box dye mishap after doing my own hair for 4 years, saw Cami on google and decided to give her a try and I am SOOO thankful!!! The results are truly beautiful and I will absolutely be coming back. She talked me through the entire process being that it was my first time and OBSESSED is an understatement!! Thank you Cami!

I had the most amazing experience here. This was the first time dying my hair and I booked with Cassie who is also an owner of the salon! She was so kind and generous when I requested my religious accommodations and she made me feel welcome, heard, and at the end… so beautiful! I got balayage and a cut and she was efficient, communicative, and creative. I have to say, I was so nervous about dying my hair because I was afraid of bleach, harmful chemicals, etc and it’s been a couple weeks and my hair actually feels MORE healthy than it did before! I wear the headscarf and can’t post pictures of my hair but genuinely, my family and friends were commenting on how the texture of my hair looked healthier. Thank you thank you thank you Cassie!! I’m a born Houstonian and now based in Chicago but will definitely be flying back to Houston for my hair needs! Super cool that the salon is actually a beauty co-op and there’s a crew of independent professionals that work there! Unique business model and I’m happy to support a local female owned movement! I also want to address a review left here by a customer who said that she received a bad coloring. I spoke to Cassie who actually said she refunded her for her hair when she first complained and the woman still left a review to disparage her, despite the fact that her hair didn’t actually sustain any damage that Cassie saw or knew of. I just met Cassie but her reaction, willingness to serve the customer, and then still leaving a neutral response to the review just shows the type of kind person she is.

Wait! Before you look any further for a hair salon. This is the one honeyyy! First off Cassie is just exactly what you could ask for in a hair stylist. She is always going to exceed your expectation and leave you absolutely loving your hair. Having a lot of curly hair it is sooo hard finding someone who can properly color and treat it. My hair has grown 9 inches+ since I started with Cassie! It was to my chin! Ew! Now look at it. Also she did my daughter’s cute styling for pictures! My little diva loved every second! The salon is such a beautiful setting filled with great energy from all. If you’re looking to be comfortable and get more than you could ask for, this is your salon honeyyy. I loved my experience with Bianca! I chose the Luxe Revive facial, my skin felt so clean and smooth after! The location was easy to find and I enjoyed meeting the rest of the Malibu Team I will definitely be back for more facials, hair and makeup services! What’s not to love about Cassie? Sure, her skill set as a hair stylist is “amazing”, but her friendly, direct upfront and confident demeanor is equally impressive!
