She did my cornrows and in 3 days it did not last and she charging salon prices doing it out her apartment and was real unprofessional

She is the worst I would not recommend she is a scammer and did my mother cornrows horrible and charged her the full amount and she had a nasty attitude like she was so entitled and I can’t stand Africans with that energy like we owe them something I repeat don’t go to her

Update: I went back to redo the braids around my edges and they look great!! Just finished week 2 and my hair still looks good and fresh. Tying my hair down with a scarf is definitely making the braids last a lot longer. Updating my rating from a 4 to 5 star! I liked my hair! She didn't braid too tight and I got finished at a reasonable time. 😀 The only issue I had is that my hair started looking a little old after two weeks, and I was wearing a bonnet every night. However, I'll definitely be back. I'm thinking that by tying my hair down with a scarf instead of wearing a bonnet may make it last longer next time. Overall, thumbs up. Give her a try!

I got my hair done a week ago by Madoussou, and my hair still looks FRESH!!!!! I found her last minute and she scheduled me with no issue the day before my appt. I recently cut my locs and haven't had my hair braided in 15 years, she caught my short hair and did not pull hard either. She is def now my go to hair braider. Her price is very reasonable and she braids in a timely manner!!!! BOOK HER!!!

We just moved to the area and found Madoussou's on Google. She was easy to reach and schedule and appointment with. When we arrived for the appointment she was ready and her prices are fair!

I was able to book an appointment short notice and for a Sunday (4/14), which is very convenient. I'm growing my hair back out from a short haircut, and she was able to braid neatly but without too much tension. Pleasant and clean environment as well, not a salon, just fyi. Pricing is significantly less than most in the area as well, and hair is included. Positive experience and would book again.

The stylist was definitely a vibe, she talks to you is very welcoming and asks a lot of questions to ensure that you’re getting what you want. The price was expensive compared to the quality. for the style I got 275 for large knotless that were lower back length, but I didn’t mind because I thought the style was going to be just that good based on the reviews. Needless to say my style did not last a week and that was with me wrapping my hair every night bonnet and silk scarf. Not to mention she did cut some of my edges to style my baby hair which I did not like at all and I ended styling them myself anyways. I wouldn’t book again but she was available for a same day appointment and she was very sweet which was a bonus but as far as the style itself I wouldn’t book again.

When I tell you my girl is the truth! She got me right before a much needed vacation and my birthday. Very professional, great vibes, prompt and get your hair done in record time. I will be back!!!!! Did my research for hours of operation Called over the phone, to find out more about what they had to offer, and what I was wanting. She gave short answers and said not right now, while then hung up. Didn’t really sit well with me trying to find someone new.

I got small knotless braids and she did a great job. The braids are very neat with minimal pain. You can tell she is a diligent hairstylist who takes pride in her work and very professional. I enjoyed my experience overall.

My 1st time experience was great. I booked late on Saturday and she had an opening the next day. My hair is considered below my bra and she was able to provide medium knotless braids in less than 6 hours.

My 1st time experience was great. Made an appointment for my cornrows. Hairwash was great. I went with a different style and was very pleased with her work. Thank you for adding the tea tree oil at the end. The atmosphere at her work place has a great relaxing vibe. I look forward to my next appointment.

My braider cancelled on me less than 24 hours before my appointment and Madoussou was able to save the day for me. She did an amazing job on my hair. Very professional and neat. She worked quickly and paid attention to details. I’ve always loved knotless braids but have never had them this juicy. Most places skimp on the hair and make them skinny. Even my fiancé loves them he says “she did a very good job” every day 😅

She was very professional and sweet.We had an incident where the lights went out from a storm and we had to wait for them to come back on. During this time she kept apologizing even though it was not her fault and it was out of her control. She kept calling to keep me posted on any updates she got and when the lights came back on the first thing she did was call me. Her work environment is amazing & I love her set up. She is very sweet and makes you want to come back, and not to mention she did her absolute best work on my hair. It wasn’t to tight to where I couldn’t think it’s just right and it’s fresh. I would encourage anybody to book with her if you want great customer service and amazing braids.
