I had the ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE with my Kennedy at M hair studio on east!!!! All of the staff were so inviting, accommodating, and she did the BEST COLOR and extensions!!! Truly a delight!!!!!

This is not a review of their service because we never got there. But I have been coming to this spot for years and booked an appt, last weekend for Tuesday of this week and somehow it booked it for that day (Sunday) I know I selected the 19th. I wouldn’t have tried because google said they weren’t even open on Sundays (proof below because they have since changed it). I was very surprised to receive an email saying thank you for your visit with a receipt. Sure enough I checked my bank and had been charged. I immediately tried to call twice, both times going to voicemail and then disconnecting when I tried to leave a message, further making me believe that they weren’t even open. I then sent an email. Never heard back from them. Then called back on Tuesday which was the next day google says they were open. Fully believing there was some kind of mix up and that they would refund me or reschedule my appt. Instead they offer me 20% off my next haircut which is unacceptable. Pretty poor business practice considering I have been here several times and they would have kept my business. Instead the person I spoke to, assuming it’s the owner, lied and said they called me on Sunday (I had no missed calls) and that they emailed me back (they didn’t) then got defensive when I said it didn’t even say they were open on Sundays when you google them you would think when they saw that they would call me back and apologize, instead they just changed it. Pretty dishonest and a silly way to run a business if you ask me. Anyways I am disputing on my credit card. Not to mention $77 for a mens haircut is robbery, get over yourselves. Will never be back and will be sure to tell my friends to avoid.

I cannot explain how great it feels to have a hairdresser who is OCD to get your color just right. Major kudos to @color.by.sam. Her pics she took of the back of my hair looked EXACTLY like the pics I brought in as what I wanted. She was SO knowledgeable and took the time to get it right. Everyone who needs some color… head her way!!!

Just sharing my experience with Rachel last week. She did a great job on blowing out and straightening my rather long thick hair! She did exactly what I was looking for. It held up for my daughter’s Nashville wedding & no frizz. I would recommend Rachel & M. Hair Studio!

I love all the ladies at M Hair. It's a great atmosphere in the shop. Sam did an unbelievable job on my color and was great about checking to make sure she was doing what I wanted. Can't say enough good things.

Raylee was amazing! She totally got my vision for a low maintenance face framing cut, I didn’t even have inspo pics haha I love coming here for my cut! I always leave feeling so refreshed and happy with the service :) thanks again for a great experience! I am already looking forward to my next visit! :)

Beware of the 48 hour cancellation policy. Full price is charged regardless of the situation and years of customer loyalty. I completely understand that missing an appointment puts the stylist in a tough spot and therefore need some protection, but this seems extreme to me.

Drove 2 hours and my boyfriend got his haircut by Rachel! She’s awesome! Did great on his hair, took her time and was super friendly. Definitely driving back 2 hours to see her again! Great salon & everyone is so friendly and welcoming!

I followed Louie here when she joined the M team. I can’t even say enough wonderful things about her. She is such a rare gem. Besides the fact that she has years and years of experience cutting and coloring, she also makes you feel welcomed, heard, understood, and taken care of from the second you walk in. Sitting in her chair feels like hitting the reset button on a stressful day. She makes you feel beautiful on the inside and outside. Louie is the most kind and gentle soul.

I have been getting my hair dyed and cut here for over a year. Their prices are reasonable, they are very close to my home and I’ve seen multiple stylists here that have all done a great job! Raylee has been cutting my super thick hair for the last few months and does such a wonderful job. I will continue to return to M Hair Studio.

I’ve been seeing Louie for several months now and been able to personally experience her professional talents in different ways. When I was first lucky enough to sit in her chair, I had a short cut and got to watch her do absolute wonders with her razor work. Like… an entire haircut done with a straight razor - it was like magic. She expertly could see what needed to be trimmed just so to get my desired look. Having never had a razor cut before it was really cool to watch! We evolved over time toward a precision blunt cut (I’m not a professional, if I’m not using the right language here forgive me!). Knowing we were in a growing out phase but how much I loved that really sleek precise bob (?), somehow Louie was able to give me the look I was so excited about without looking like I was in an awkward growing out phase! I also have gotten to enjoy several color experiences with her. I’m naturally a brunette, so she took me blonde and then made a REALLY cool custom vivid purple. As a fun little aside I got to learn something about the science of hair color, which I was into. We’ve also done a deeper custom shade of purple as the season started to change which was also impossibly cool. So that’s the work part - obviously she’s talented. The reason I personally keep coming back (including following her to her new salon as her career journey has progressed - shout out M Hair Studio for the very chill, very accepting vibes!!) is because Louie is a just good person. She’s an interested listener, kind and empathetic, but she is comfortable in silence as well if you aren’t feeling chatty. Her interests outside of her passion for hair are also really cool - she’s a reiki healer, studying how to make different tinctures and other natural methods of healing. She’s got hilarious and adorable fur babies. She’s done the inner work for herself and is interested in talking about personal growth experiences. She’s also just funny and charming and engaging. 10/10, definitely recommend!

Louie Mott is a senior stylist at this salon, and she is everything! She's such a lovely soul and an amazing creator/artist. She engages, she listens, she lifts my spirit every time I see her. I cherish my visits with her.

Louie Mott is my colorist and I drive 4 hours one way to see her! She is absolutely the most talented, kindest, knowledgeable, hair genie I know. My hair had been damaged badly by another beautician before I found Louie, but with her expert ministrations, my hair is so much healthier and the color is phenomenal. I get compliments wherever I go! I just love her❤️! Louie has been doing my hair for a minute now, and it's always such a lovely experience! She takes time to really understand what I need from my hair and tailors my service SO precisely. Watching her work is truly watching someone create art right in front of you with almost unbelievable levels care and enthusiasm!!! The entire salon has such wonderful staff with such a warm and kind energy, and I always leave feeling refreshed and in love with my hair!

This Salon is great!! Everyone is professional and friendly. I am always offered something to drink (the Aveda herbal tea is delish!) and their products and service are top notch. There is upbeat music playing in the background. Some salons have that fancy, la-te-da air about them; but this salon comes across as very down to earth and unpretentious. Sam R. and Rachel are super to work with! Give this salon a try!
