Wanted to cry after seeing how my nails turned out, especially since they were for my wedding. :( $55 Gel polish. Lifting after 1 week, has bubbles throughout. Uneven sides. Requested cat-eye effect only present in 2 out of 10 nails, need a stronger magnet. Paid for additional time due to the 1st attempt ran out of the gel color mid-manicure with my natural nail bed still visible. I was told my nail bed was supposed to be visible the first time because of the type of polish… but that’s never happened before. I think it was because the bottle ran out.

So I had a haircut from Flo in September, which was very enjoyable. I have since returned for another cut and had Andrew today 11/7. Both cuts were great but since Flo wasn’t available Andrew stepped up and was fantastic. His conversation was enjoyable and he cut my hair exactly to my specifications. Not to compare, but his schedule is a better fit to mine and I will definitely be returning for future cuts. It was truly an enjoyable experience. 👍. I just love this place. 🥰

I have extreme anxiety. I cannot sit confined for long periods of time. This makes it extremely difficult for me to get any spa services. It's been over 6 years since I have done anything to my hair but wash and brush it. Forget getting my nails or lashes done. A professional recommended Lush for a birthday cut and blowout. And I am so happy they did. Not only did they fit me in my birthday, I had the most calming, caring and best service. Melissa did my hair she has such an amazing calming aura about her. I went in earlier to discuss my "crazy" needs and they took everything I needed into consideration to make me comfortable. They went above and beyond and I've never felt so beautiful 😍 thank you Lush, Melissa, and the receptionist (wish I got your name). Truly changed my whole birthday and I feel so pretty! 💞 If you have certain ticks or fears and need your hair done I would recommend Lush. I found my forever salon.

I have very curly hair and have never had a curl specialist cut it. Pheebee was the stylist who did my hair and i am so happy with the results! She was so friendly and gave great tips for curly hair care. Everyone in the establishment was so nice and supportive, and what makes it better is the fact that they're an Eco-Salon and dont use any products with harsh chemicals! Great experience :)

Kate is a wonderful hairdresser. She knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen. I will definitely come back. I tried to make an appointment with her again, but it's really not easy.

My daughter went to Pheebee for a cut. Her hair is curly and not every stylist knows how to cut curly hair. Pheebee was amazing. She took her time and really listened! The end result was a fabulous haircut. As Charlie was getting her hair cut, Andrew gave me beautiful blow out! He was personable and kind. Ladies if you have an event Andrew is your guy!!

I was passing through New Paltz for two days on a wandering trip through the Hudson Valley and had a great deal of tension in my back from stress (who doesn’t) and iver exertion in martial arts and weight training. I saw Lush and liked the vibe so I signed up for a massage. I was in a lot of pain! Ray, the masseur, is intelligent, sensitive and a great communicator. I felt completely renewed and grateful.

I have been going to Lush for a couple years and they are a great salon! Pheebe is my go-to, she is creative and calming and easy to talk to. They space itself is also quite open and has good energy. Would recommend!!

Great experience at Lush Eco Salon! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. Sophia has been doing my hair for the past two years. She has an incredible talent for hair styling -my cut and color always turn out amazing!

Kristen was recommended to me after she did stunning cuts on two of my close friends, I decided to book an appointment and haven’t looked back since. Kristen did a beautiful shag with face framing curtain bangs as well as evened out my hair color with a dark brown (and it has faded beautifully). I won’t go anywhere else! She listens to exactly what you want and explains every step thoroughly.

Lush Eco Salon is a hidden gem, the salon is incredible, I moved here from NYC and used to spend $$$$ in pursuit of a natural red shade and never be satisfied- but at Lush Eco and with Pheebee, I’ve never been happier. The cut and color is great and they are fast, too! 10/10 highly recommend.

So glad to have found this salon! I have wavy/curly hair with no consistent curl pattern, and my hair is short. Not everyone can cut my hair. I had tried a few places having just moved to the area and was relived when I finally got my hair cut by Stephanie! She did an excellent job. The space is also relaxing, the rest of the staff is friendly, and they are LGBTQ-friendly. The experience is also thorough, with a wash and style - which is awesome - but not for me. I tend to like to get in, get trimmed, and leave since I get pretty frequent cuts. I called and asked if they had any quick trim options and they were happy to accommodate. Very much looking forward to my next cut and glad to have found them!

I booked a last minute appointment with Kristen. I showed her two pictures of the color I was looking for and she proceeded to give me the best color I’ve ever received (and I’ve been dying my hair for 25 years!) I had a mixtures of gray roots, box dye in the middle and some highlighted ends, basically lots of colors and hair types to work with. She was able to bring my hair up to a beautiful brighter color, keeping things warm as I had requested. The color dynamic and has so many high and low lights that bring out the natural depth of my hair. What I love most is that she worked with the fact I don’t come into the salon as frequently as I should and also applied color in a way that would help to blend out my grays and give me more time between coloring. Kristen listened to what I wanted and did a perfect job at executing it! I’m excited to go back!

From the bold transition of black to vibrant orange, to embracing a mullet, Kristen has consistently shown enthusiasm for my ideas. What sets her apart is not just her hair skills but her ability to genuinely listen and understand my vision. With each visit, she navigates the spectrum of possibilities, helping me figure out what I wanted. Currently, I have a warm, dark brown color paired with a shag cut and baby bangs. Although my look is more tame than previous looks, I always leave Kristen feeling good about myself. She is amazing and I absolutely adore her!

I lived in New Paltz all through college and toward the end of my time, I visited Lush to get my hair colored and was not disappointed. I met with Pheebee who turn my plain brown hair into a beautiful burgundy masterpiece!! It was a long process, but Pheebee was so fun to talk to, offered to pick me up coffee or food, and my color lasted for months. I visited about a year later and booked an appointment with Pheebee for a cut and color touchup and once again, was not disappointed. The salon is clean and welcoming and you leave feeling happy and beautiful. I highly recommend!

Lush is such a hidden gem! I see Kristin for my shellac manicures every two weeks, and my nails have never looked better. The high quality shellac they use protects the integrity of your nails, and Kristin takes her time to make sure the nail shape and polish application are perfect. These are the best manicures I’ve ever had and I always receive compliments - I would highly recommend to anyone!

Lush is the spot! It’s so comforting and inviting from the moment you walk in. I’ve been going since they opened, owner Steph Chick is a legit hair goddess (I followed her from her previous spot)! Recently, I needed a last minute apt and Pheebee happened to have an opening, and boy am I glad she did! Today I went to her for the second time and she’s absolutely incredible- she listens and actually hears you. Today I showed her half a dozen pictures of what I wanted (all different), but she got it instantly. I thought I just wanted face framing - we discussed it and I trusted her- she framed my face perfectly, gave me low lights for depth and lightened the bottom of my hair too because I told her I was bored and wanted some change. All along being so sweet and explaining her process while assisting me with the best cup of tea. If you want to feel relaxed, accepted and totally fabulous, give Lush a try!
