THIS SHOP IS MONEY HUNGRY DON’T GO HERE!!!! They said it was going to be $250 with the hair included and I had to buy my own hair because they supposedly didn’t have the color I wanted! Then I’m thinking I’m getting knotless while time My hair is knotted at the root when I actually look at it !! Don’t go here!! SAVE IT AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!

If I could give zero stars I would. I paid $260 and my twists started to unravel after the 1st week! Store owner said because I use human hair and my hair is short and fine. Tried to recharge me to redo my perimeter because all of my braids slipped out. A complete waste of money! Don't throw money out the window like I did.

Good for a last resort and always come through when I call. Not all braiders are created equally I can sure say that much.

I got my hair done 12/2/23 by 12/5/23 the crochet start just popping out in the front. When I check the rest of my hair I discovered that the entire back was coming a loose. I called the owner and let her know I would be contacting her on 12/7/23. She told me I would have to pat an additional fee for her to take it all down and redo. I refused to pay another dollar. Then she said she would redo. But I just couldn't trust her. The last thing I needed was for her to braid my hair to tight and break my hair off. Beware, I will never go there again.

I set an appointment Thursday a couple months ago for the next day which was Friday. The next day when I got there she was an Hour late even though I was mad I still waited. When she got the they provided the hair for me and the stylist she had an oder on her and it was really bad!. It took her almost 9 hours to do my hair because she kept taking breaks, eating, getting on the phone, and complaining about how tired she was. When I thought she halfway done I called my grandma to tell her she could be on the way. The stylist got mad and said not to call her and to hang up the phone cause I wasn’t done yet. When I was done the braids were pretty but as I had them for a couple months some of my braids started to come out!. So I decided to take them all out, when I took them out my edges were very thin and I was very upset. It was a good place but I would not recommend this place!.

I spent about 10 hours in the chair but the braids were nice. The pieces of hair I had coming out of my braids kept falling out little by little everyday after but I dunno if that could have been fixed. I'd go back though, maybe just to get a different style and bigger braids so the process doesn't take as long. The staff was nice and I also like that they provide the hair, unless you want something extra.

I went here for box braids. They warned me that the kankalon hair would be too heavy, then offered me a lighter weight hair and it turned out fantastic! Two persons worked in me and completed it in less than 4 hours! They were efficient and the braids were not too tight, but secure and I've received many compliments on the look. Curly and shiny. She even recommended some product to help me with my hair thinning...Thanks very much!

I'm growing my hair out from a pixie cut so I only have about 2 inches of hair. I initially went to another shop and they told me they couldn't braid it. I decided to give Luscious a try and they did an excellent job. They even got my baby hairs together. I will be back!

I called to see if they could do starter locks for my son and the young lady was very pleasant and honest. She informed of the wait time and offered to contact me when they were close to ready for him so we didn’t have to sit in the shop all day. After being scheduled with a previous shop and then calls/text being ignored day of appointment along with another shop giving me a time and no showed I was skeptical by now. Low and behold she did contact me and gave me the time to bring my son. That speaks volume to me. Great customer service.

She continued to eat and stop while doing my hair. She stayed on the phone as well. Charged me 200 for an 80 job I got jumbo braids. My hair wasn't even. Some were long, and some were short.

The stylist are true artists in their craft, and friendly making clients feel welcome. The salon is clean and maintained that way throughout the day. Looking for braiding, twists, etc. this is the place to go. Prices are relative to other salon. The styles witnessed that day were all beautifully done.

I have been going to this shop for over 2 years my latest experience was the worst. I now have short hair wish I was charged extra for.I did not have a problem with it but I went to get my hair braided on Wednesday, come Thursday morning I have braids coming out of my hair. I called the owner and texted her.she did not respond back until Sunday to tell me to come in on Wednesday the following Wednesda.I came in on Wednesday and they tried to say my braids were coming out because I wash my hair. I did not wash my hair but either way I should be able to wash, pull, or do whatever I want to to my braids without braids sliding out of my hair. then it is upsetting that the owner told me to be careful with my braids when leaving. Needless to say I will not be going back and I will began doing my own braids myself?!

Maybe they're not use to doing white people's hair, idk. 🤷 But she used waaay too much product and the braids are already coming out and it's been 6 days. I'll have to take them down tonight. Complete waste of $145. I usually pay $65 and it lasts for weeks.
