This was my first time getting my hair done by Leah, and I will absolutely be going back! I told her I wanted to refresh my hair before my bachelorette trip, and she did just that with a gloss and trim. I really appreciate that she explained all the benefits of the treatments and also gave me ways to keep my hair happy and healthy!

I recently moved to St Pete and was looking for a new place to get my hair done. Longer review, but want to be clear about what happened here as I rarely write negative reviews. I went in to see Leah for the first time recently just to get a gloss because some of my lighter blond highlights tend to wash out to super light and start getting a little brassy. I told her that it had been 6 weeks since my last gloss and I was just there to get an overall gloss to tone down the super light pieces that had washed out. (The picture with pink shirt was my hair color after last appt at my old salon in Tampa- so, imagine that color but even lighter in front after 6 weeks of wash out). I’ve asked for the same thing at other places and never had an issue with this kind of request. The picture with blue shirt is day after the appt with Leah. If you look at that photo, you can see I’m not being dramatic when I say that all my highlights are gone because the color is so dark. The day of in the salon, I was shocked and said ‘well, that’s… different’ but I’ve always hated confrontation, I’m a freaking people pleaser, and was on my way to dinner with a friend, so I didn’t say anything immediately. (Not that I think it would have made a difference here, but being transparent). It’s just hair, it grows back- thought maybe I’d feel ok with it the next day. But I didn’t. This was not at all what I asked for. ☹️ I did reach out less than 24hrs later via email to say I wasn’t happy, was now freaking out about how long this is going to take to come out all the way, and to ask for help fixing this. No response but I thought maybe email went to spam so I waited two more days and then tried texting her. I did finally get a response a day later via text and was told to use clarifying shampoo to try to speed up the fade and, next time I get my hair done somewhere, provide a reference picture. I will definitely take the responsibility for not showing her my hair after my last appt and I could’ve handled it if it were a bit different than before. But, come on, this color isn’t remotely close to what it was before. I didn’t show her reference photos because It was a simple request and I didn’t think it was even possible to have THIS bad of a miscommunication. I did NOT ask to have all my beautiful highlights obliterated nor did I ask for a dramatic change (that is, in my mind, the only way I should have ended up with this color situation) … it had taken me more than a year to get my hair lightened up to that level after years of having it dyed dark and I’m afraid I’ll now need a color correction at the next place to undo this because it’s super dark gloss on top of the pale blond highlights. 😩 I’m hoping it does all wash out and this will just be the 6-8 weeks of hating my hair and then moving on elsewhere. I read the other reviews and other clients seemed super happy here so maybe I just had a really bad one-off experience. But, I wanted to at least warn others that might be looking for similar services. Posted the photos so you can be the judge as to whether this is an overreaction. I don’t truly know what the explanation was here… I don’t know if she wasn’t listening or wasn’t paying attention or mixed the formula wrong or left it on too long or what. I did note some other odd things- like her asking if I’d thought about doing layers when my hair is already obviously heavily layered and her asking me the same questions more than once. But, again, hard for me to reconcile with the other highly positive reviews.

LEAH IS YOUR GIRL FOR LIVED IN BLONDING! So thankful I found her through Instagram. Her blending technique is so beautiful. Blended my money piece to the rest of my hair AND added a customized color to make it just right. Best scalp massages during the sessions, and got an Olaplex treatment that left my hair shining and healthy. Gorgeous haircut and blowout afterwards too- very particular with not cutting too much off and hair still feels long.

I have been going to Leah for years and I always leave with hair even better than I expected. Her studio is bright and welcoming, she will make you a specialty coffee or adult beverage. It’s the best place to kick back, relax and prepare to be pampered. I highly recommend Leah if you’re looking for hair model quality ☺️

Leah is beyond amazing. My perfectly bright yet natural-looking blonde looks better than anyone has ever done it. She’s fantastic at coloring your hair- even better than you imagine possible. Plus, it grows out so nicely that no one can tell it’s time for me to get my hair done (not even me). I’ve had hair loss around my face/hairline, and she delicately and perfectly put KERATIN TIP extensions in that look and feel very natural, and they match as if they were colored with my hair. I feel as if I never lost my hair at all! She even ensures you have all the necessary products to make your color and extensions last longer. Definitely see her, especially for anything BLONDE!!

Leah is great at what she does, and makes sitting in her chair a positive experience from start to finish! She goes over inspiration pictures to clarify what your hair goals are, and she educates on hair care and products throughout the session. She’s super knowledgeable, and does a great job at explaining things! She also does her best to make sure you’re enjoying yourself. Multiple times she asked if I was doing ok and if I wanted anything to drink or snack on (which she keeps stocked for you)! I am very happy with how my hair turned out, and I will definitely be back.

I just went to Leah for the first time, and all I can say is WOW!! Leah is super talented, and does amazing work. I love how she really took her time with my hair, and made sure I had a great experience from start to finish. I also LOVED the hot towel for my neck, and scalp massage...as a new mom, both were very much appreciated :) I highly, highly recommend Leah...you will not be disappointed!!

I love sitting in Leah’s chair! She works so hard to make sure it is an amazing experience. The individualized attention you get throughout the service is first class. Leah always makes sure that you understand how the inspiration photo will translate to your hair and works to make sure it is everything you envision. I’ve been going to Leah for my hair for 3 years now, and every time I walk out of the salon I feel fabulous. Leah is truly a blonde expert, turning me from brunette to blonde without ever making my hair feel like it’s damaged. She’s a great conversationalist, her studio is nicely designed, and the services she provides for hair are top notch. Cannot recommend enough!

I’ve been to Leah for color/balayage and cuts for several different times. Previously I was pleased with everything except for this most recent appointment. My blonding session went very well and the color of my hair is bright and ready for summer however, the cut is completely uneven and very choppy. I wanted a long bob with a slight angle from front to back, but ended up with a half bob- half ‘let me see your manager.’ Never again.

Leah has been nothing short of amazing in helping me achieve the color and cut I have requested. Each and ever time I’ve had the pleasure of sitting in her chair, she has delivered the services I was looking for! The “lived-in” color with gloss and highlights has turned out perfectly each time. She also waxes and tints my brows…tinting is new for me. I leave there feeling pretty fresh and amazing! Highly recommend Leah as she is creative, friendly, on time, and will give you what you ask for.

Leah is absolutely fabulous at what she does! I have only been highlighting/blonding for 2-3 years now, but I've never felt more confident about the quality and aesthetic of my hair since I found her! She is so thorough and knowledgeable about what she does and always still has my opinion and best interest in mind during every visit! Leah is by far one of the most talented people I know!. She fully recover my hair shape from a not so good haircut I got somewhere else (which is not easy, I have thick high volumen long hair). Her hair care reccomendations are always on point! Two weeks ago, Leah did the the brazilian hair blowout and the result its insane, my hair feels so soft and zero frizz inmediate after I wash it. Dont think it twice to make an appointment with Leah, she is awesome!

Leah is incredibly talented with her specializing in not only her knowledge with coloring but her knowledge with hair products. When I first started seeing her I had a scalp issue that I had for many years (psoriasis like) and her recommendation of shampoo and conditioner to help with it has it completely gone now! Leah was so great about explaining everything & the whole experience was awesome! The environment is relaxing & enjoyable. As for someone who is deaf, it was a nice touch to have access to a tv with closed captioning on to watch on and off during the process. I explained the coloring I wanted and she nailed it! She has the blonde magic touch for sure—- Definitely will be back 🥰

Want a stylist who is passionate about their craft and actually listens AND executes your wants? Say no more. I’ve been going to Leah for about two years now and we’ve done multiple colors and cuts and I just won’t go to anyone else. She will also give you a plan to get the final product if it can’t be done in one session which I totally appreciate. She’s an educator and I love it. RUN to see her. I came to her with a botched color job and since then I’ve listened to all Of her advice. She suggested multiple products (ones that don’t break the bank but are good for your hair and stands by them). I just love her.

Leah is fabulous! I had been in the market for a hair dresser for so long when my buddy recommended her! I had been thru a few and had never left satisfied so I didn’t return. Let’s just say the buck stopped here. Leah not only got EXACTLY what I was desribing/looking for but she exceeded my expectations! I have been going to her for a year now and EVERY SINGLE TIME I leave feeling fabulously beautiful! If you’re looking for that hair style that blows even your mind Leah is your girl!

I am a travel nurse and since the pandemic I have neglected my hair due to safety. I was looking for someone who could fix what I destroyed with super market root coverup which turned my hair brassy. I goggled “Redkin hair colorists near me” and found Leah. Read through some reviews and decided I am in! The salon is not threatening with the current pandemic which was one of the major needs for me to walk in to a salon. I feel so much prettier than I have since this pandemic started. Leah is extremely professional and taught me so much about her art and design. She is probably the best hair stylist I have ever had. She is also fun to talk with and if you don’t want to talk that’s okay too. She truly knows what she is doing. If my hair can look this much better after one visit (look at the before and after photo) you know she has an amazing talent. “A picture is worth a thousand words”. Leah thank you and I will, if okay with you” travel back for my continued hair care. I will see you soon for the “Brazilian blowout”...I can’t wait. Thank you again. Oh also eyebrows are perfect!!

Leah is so talented and I am so happy I found her! I have incredibly thick hair that requires someone with extreme talent and expertise to manage. My hair has had some horrible experiences throughout the years because of how difficult it is, but with Leah, it has never looked better or healthier! If you have thick hair or want someone who is amazing at blonding, go see Leah, you will be so glad you did!
