I was referred to Brittney, a stylist, at Lox N Irons Salon through social media. I contacted contacting her and she put me at ease as she was very responsive and able to fit me in right away which is sometimes a hard ask for a master stylist. She understood my problem areas and was very patient as I'm a former hairdresser and prob the worst client! She was very thorough through the consultation and was careful to cut a small amount of length at a time to make me comfortable. When we went through the haircut she was just as good at tending to the little fixes I wanted and making it just perfection. I've had quite a few disappointing experiences since moving here at various hair salons. I was so happy I found someone who I can trust.

Caytlin has done my hair for years and has done a wonderful job. I highly recommend lox and Irons if you want great service and a pleasant experience and someone who knows exactly what they are doing then go see caytlin with lox` and Irons.

I have been going to Caytlin for a few years now & she has done amazing on my hair! Also she has installed extensions in my hair & has done a perfect match with my natural hair. You won't be disappointed! 💕

Unfortunately with no resolution with Caytlin regarding the poor service done on my hair, I'm posting my review so others can beware and make an informed decision when booking her services. I booked an appointment for a Sunday to have my hair done. The service booked was for a full head of highlights and base color for $187+ After speaking with her I assumed we had a clear understanding of the plan for my hair. She spent 5 hours doing my hair. I left with my hair still wet at the roots and color and conditioner still in the middle of my head. My hair was red/brassy, poorly blended, left with zebra stripes (pictured), and nothing like expected. She then venmo requests $400 from me for the service. I have never paid this much to have my hair done in my life, especially with a poor result. There was never any mention of $400... I am a single mom and this was the first time having my hair done in almost 2 years. I am not in a place to spend $400 for hair and I was honest with her about not wanting to spend a ton, and that I typically only get my hair done once or twice a year. After paying her, I expressed my concerns with my hair and shared photos. People around me urged me to contact her after they seen my hair and found out how much I paid. She said she would fix it and took fault for going with a different color than she originally planned. I was very clear about not wanting red tone, and she used a violet color that turned my hair brassy with a red/orange undertone. In the sun, my hair was RED. Fast forward to the next Sunday where she brought me in to fix the issues. Somehow my hair got WORSE. After an additional 3.5 hours, I ended up with 2 huge yellow streaks and extremely unblended hair again. When blow drying my hair, I checked the middle of my head again and it was full of color and conditioner that hadn't been washed out enough for the 2nd time. She sprayed it with a water bottle and towel dried. Got to the end and I expressed how orangey it still was and unblended, trying to be quiet and respectful because of others in the salon. She said she could have brought the root down further and could do that next time. After leaving I sobbed in my car. I was shocked and never experienced anything like this. I stopped at a salon on my way into work and was quoted $200-$250 to fix my hair. The hairstylists were shocked at how much I was charged and the results. When I expressed this to Caytlin she said I signed a waiver. She said she would fix it, but I could not bring myself to trust her again. I found someone to fix my hair and it ended up costing me $240... And again, the stylist said that i was grossly overcharged and that obviously the prior stylist didn't understand fully how color and toner works. I have a TON of photos and I will share this in hopes it helps someone. Be careful with who you choose for your hair.... Especially when in comes to "blonding specialists" who take one class and claim they're a master at it. I probably shouldn't have shared that I was from out of state when she asked, that probably is part of the reason I was majorly overcharged.

Caytlin does an awesome job. The first time I visited for a cut and color my hair was down to my shoulder blades. She didn't hesitate to get started. She was excited and gave me her honest opinions and offered suggestions due to my hair type. I recommend Caytlin to everybody!

I recently got extensions from Caytlin. I have grey and dark brown hair mix so she had to custom color the extensions. She did such a fantastic job that you can’t even tell it’s not my hair. It blends in so well. She is wonderfully talented at her craft. She also saved me some money on the extensions. I highly recommend her for any of your hair needs.
