She customizes the entire experience, including the music, and makes it feel like we're picking up where we left off at our previous appointment. Not only does she revive my hair and make it look beautiful again, she gives me lots of tips and tricks so I can have better success at home.

After years of bad curly hair cuts, I found Alaina. She has made it so I love my curly hair again. It's not just a haircut anymore. I've learned so many things on how to take care of my hair in between cuts. She is a delight and positive professional! There isn't a week that someone doesn't stop me and say, " I love your curls." I would recommend a "curly cut" from Alaina to anyone struggling with curly girl problems.

This was my first curly cut, EVER! I started this curly hair journey about 6 months ago and after some research, found Alaina’s page and began the work. It didn’t take too much time before I was able to book my first curly cut and it was worth the wait! Alaina took her time to review my current routine and what my goals for my hair were. She educated me on some adjustments I could make to achieve those results. I appreciate some volume as apposed to definition and she spent time reviewing those differences. I can’t say enough fabulous things about Alaina and my time spent with her today. I am SO excited for my hair to continue to grow and look forward to seeing Alaina in the upcoming months!

She is a wealth of knowledge for your natural curly hair needs! What I love the most is the relationship that she builds with her clients and the experience she offers with every cut. Alaina KNOWS what she's doing! Every haircut that I've ever had has ended in the stylist straightening my hair. They had NO idea what they were doing so they finished my hair like everyone else. Curly hair is weird. Sections don't curl, some barely curl and some are crazy. Alaina rolls with it and customizes the cut for each section. I'm left with an amazing cut and it's styled beautifully. Not only that, but she LISTENS and creates a customized plan for products and techniques that I CAN REPLICATE ON MY OWN. She even writes everything down for me. Now I'm not at the mercy of humidity, products, and my own lack of knowledge with techniques. She also customizes the whole session for ME. It's a whole self care experience. I cannot recommend Alaina highly enough. She's a game changer.

I've been coming to Alaina to cut my hair for several years, and I keep coming back because she is so good at cutting my naturally curly hair! With other hairstylists, I've had to psych myself up to tell them to cut off less than I actually wanted and get mediocre cuts. Alaina is an expert with curly (and wavy) hair, so she has a really good grasp at how much to actually trim and how to shape the layers in ways that work with my curls. It is always fun, relaxing, and not stressful to get my hair cut!

Alaina has done an amazing job with my 9yr old son's curly hair. She is always very knowledgable and my son comes away with a fantastic cut every time. It's not always easy to take care of a young boys curly hair but Alaina has helped me know the right products and way to style his hair in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!
